Very good waffles place. Felt it was a bit overpriced, but the quality of the food that they serve was worth it. And their frappe is da bomb! I'd keep going back to this place just for their frappes.

This has always been my favorite place to eat & chill at Doña Soledad. Not only because the food is great but the employees are also very nice.. Their milkteas are amazing! You have to try them. To me, Wicked Waffle's (bonappetea) milktea is number one. You can choose from numerous choices of waffles and different types of food as well. Not one food has disappointed me.

Now let me tell you that The Wicked Waffle ain't wicked at all... My recent visit snapped me out of my 4 month hiatus to diorize the experience that wasn't the most pleasingHeard quite a lot about how good the waffle concoctions are in their other branches, which made me excited upon driving by a recently opened store in my area. They tied up w/ a known Tea bar called BonAppeTea w/c i think was really smart to rake in the same market. We trooped to the store one fine evening to get a waffle & tea fix... Interiors are quite homy, color combos blended well w/ lighting while chairs & tables were fairly comfy. Wall art weren't the most artistic but enough to illuminate the concept. A lady crew handed out menus but was very inattentive to our queries as she was too busy giggling throwing jokes at coleagues by the counter & kitchen... Uhoh, Not a good start There were 4 crew members inside the cook area so we expected short wait time... 10,15, 25 mins lapsed & none have been served. Followed up w/the manager &found out that they only had 1 waffle maker working... Geesh! A waffle shop running on 1 waffle maker??!!As we continued to wait, the smoke enveloped the whole place & the staff had to turn down the AC & open the doors to exhaust the smoke & prevent suffocation. Orders came out after 45 mins... Not good!We took a stab at their basics - PB & jelly, Blueberry, Strawberry, Cream cheese & Hazelnut. Nothin' special & typical of a waffle put together by a 5yr old. The Banana PB, Dulce de Leche & RedVelvet were likewise very ordinary & too sugary. Apart from its dull boring nature, I didn't appreciate that all the waffles were undercooked! Raw batter in the middle while the sides & edges were burnt... It just didn't go well with the fillings. So it took over 45 mins for these guys to produce a half cooked waffle!Their beverages were okay but I wouldn't pay P100 for it. Like their waffles, nothin' special... The Vanilla, Caramel, Honeydew, Creme Brulee, Wintermelon & Choco Mint were some notables but I'd take a Zagu over these anytime. Time came to get our bill only to find out that they missed jotting down our beverages on the slip... Now why am I not surprised? Staff had been goofin' around the whole time! Took another 10 mins to rectify & settle...In summary, my rating of this joint were heavily swayed by these factors :Service - Staff were inattentive leading to miscommunication. Wait time was crazy long! Get 2 more waffle makers!Ambience - How can one enjoy being enclosed by a cloud of smoke & steppin' out of the place smelling exactly the same as the food one ate?Food - Too dull. Raw batter in the middle, burnt edgesNot expecting any return visits to this place... It's wickedly unwicked@

The Wicked Waffle used to be the space occupied by Bon AppeTea. Maybe things didn't go well for the Milk Tea shop so they got replaced or maybe combined with Wicked Waffle because I noticed that the store still serves Bon AppeTea but the logo is no where to be found. Anyhow, upon entering the store, the smell of poor ventilation welcomed us. There was a little smoke coming out from their kitchen. I shrugged it off and got myself excited with their waffles.Checking their menu, I got a little confused. You see, they gave us two menus. The items marked as unavailable in one menu where marked available in the other. So I ordered what I wanted anyway - Matcha Red Bean Waffle Sundae. The staff told me that it wasn't available so I showed them their menus. She just shrugged which prompted me that it's hopeless to argue so I just ordered something else. Another Matcha Waffle came into my sight. It was a new product - Matcha with Coconut Jam. Hmmmm, never had my Matcha paired with coconut jam so I got curious. I asked if they can add a scoop of ice cream which I will gladly pay for. I got a hard NO. The experience was getting annoying but I kept my cool. I asked for their Red Velvet Waffle Sundae instead. Hubby, on the other hand got their Mac & Cheese.Mac & Cheese was served first and mind you, it wasn't bad at all. Served with two slices of heavily buttered bread, which I liked by the way, the pasta was al dente and the sauce was thick and cheesy. It was topped with some herbs, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. I liked that it wasn't over the top salty. This could be the next favorite Mac & Cheese of my daughter.he waffle was a different story. Serving time took a while and I had to make 2 follow-ups before it was served. The menu described this as such : Red Velvet waffle, vanilla ice cream, cream cheese spread, white chocolate chips, raspberry topping. Urgh! So promising. The waffle was Instagram worthy but I didn't really get what was indicated on the menu. I got a Red Velvet Waffle that was at first good because it was crunchy on the outside and soft beneath. But to claim that this is Red Velvet - come on! It was just like your ordinary grocery bought pancake mix that was colored red. No velvety texture, no chocolate kick. And the cream cheese spread? Oh I think I read the menu wrong! But no! Instead of cream cheese, they used whipped cream and then topped it off with Vanilla ice cream. What about the white chocolate chips? Nah. They've got candy sprinkles instead. To make things worse, the raspberry topping was way too sweet and beneath the crunchy facade was an uncooked batter with edges that were burnt. So sad. I gave up after finishing half. We also noticed that as people started coming in and orders started to pour, the smoke coming from their kitchen got worse. They needed to open the door.Oh boy it was such a bad experience that even if we liked their Mac & Cheese, we will never ever give this place another chance. Not worth the money and definitely not worth the calories!
