This was our first stop here at Solaire to celebrate our New Year’s Eve. This supposed simple snack got off hand as we ordered more than we should. We had dinner scheduled in less than two hours! We were 3 adults and a 4 year old and or table had two cakes and two pastries, accompanied by coffee. Our savory sweet combinations were delicious and filling, as Patisserie offered more than a decent grub. I loved the Fruit Danish most, served with smooth cream inside it. The Strawberry Vanilla Cheesecake was packed and dense, giving you value for money. We also shared a bit too salty Chicken Asado Pie and Sugar Chocolate Napoleon, which was too good, it was gone before I had the chance to take a photo. Patisserie also serves festive cupcakes and premium Gelato flavors. Their Butter Pecan is one you should not miss. I only had a chance to sample this flavor.

Waiting for Lion King’s door opening, we decided to eat first and TYG because I would have been hungry by the end or even for the second half of the play if it weren’t for Patisserie. Our orders were the following: Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwich: 3/5Indian Spiced Chicken Wrap: 3.3/5Baked Chicken Asado Pie: 2.5/5Pigs in a Blanket: 3/5Solaire Chocolate Cake: 4/5 (got to eat gold)Chocolate Ice Cream: 2/5Hot Chocolate With Cream: 3.5/5Macchiato: 3.5/5 (STRONG) Overall, the food tasted normal, I was hoping for maybe a little twist in the flavors. BUT! I did enjoy everything. They are also very accommodating and friendly! They were more than willing to take a photo of us. Kudos to Patisserie!

Got a chocolate caramel ice cream for dessert. Good but sinful because it has chocolate chips and the base is caramel. I think it’s not a usual flavor offering so better get it when you see it!

Worst set of dessert we had in any hotel. The french macaron was as hard as a rock so we tried to return it but the server but after relaying the concern to his boss, the server said that that's how their macaron, as per their recipe, was meant to turn out.The cookie was nothing special as it lacked the flavor and aroma that good quality vanilla gives. It's not soft, it's not chewy, it's not crunchy---just hard. The ones sold in the convenience store taste better. They also need to change the brand of milk they use. Its fat-content does not sit well with the acidity of the coffee they use.
