I believe the fundamental problem of French Baker, this branch included, is their choice of location.  I would expect better from French Baker.  I would expect them to situate themselves in less crowded place where their diners can have some nice, chic, solitary dining experience true to the French experience.  I dined here with my family when they visited me and getting a seat was just as crazy as trying to hear each other talk thanks to the hustle and bustle of the weekend crowd.  The crowd in itself was stressful.Although the food was generally sumptuous, with special mention on the chili con carne hotdog and the lasagna and breads, the stress coming from the crowd totally killed the dining experience so I must say things could have been better.Cost-wise, the food is expensive.  I would pay that much for that kind of food at a better location.

I loved this place ever since i was a kid. My super favorite thing from this restaurant is the mocha drink. The way they make it is so good that its perfect for a meal. Heck, i bet i can even one whole liter of that for myself while simultaneously having a full meal. Aside from their mocha drink, their lasagna is a must-try, Its served nice and hot and it tastes amazing. They definitely did not go easy on the cheese.

The best thing about this place is the bread sale before the mall closes. You can get big discounts on different breads. For the food, I enjoy the Soup on a bread bowl most, but it depends on the soup of the day.The place is nice, it has this "sosyal" feel in it, but the location of the restaurant isn't nice as there are so many people around this area (near main entrance) and it's really hard to enjoy your food when people walk past you and looks at what you're eating.

Big fan of this place. I always go there to get their soup in bread bowl. Worth every penny. Tried their macaroons too which i felt was jus out of the world. However, i feel that they could offer more chicken and egg based dishes. And most of the times they are out of the egg salad sandwich which is my absolute favourite.

I ate here with my family for an early dinner and more than ten from our meal choices were not available - from pasta to rice meals. We just ordered lasagna instead. When I was about to sign the charge sheet and the receipt, the orders that were charged from my credit card were from another table. We reported it immediately for the payment to be voided. Luckily, I still have not signed the charge sheet and the receipt so the wrong orders have not yet been deducted from my credit card. I can understand the mistake regarding the billing because the amount was not that expensive but the one that worsened our stay was the unavailability of orders and the slow service. Another thing was when we were leaving the place, no one even thanked us for dining nor apologized for the wrong billing even if there are a lot of servers around. What a shame, you have such an attractive place but bad service.

Merienda! I had their Tuna Turnover & French Toast! I love their Tuna Turnover, its full of stuffing and its best eaten when served warm. The staff was accommodating and nice.Update:- My family and I had dinner here! I got my childhood favorite which was their Carbonara and I absolutely hate it. There wasn't any flavor, I had to ask for salt and pepper and the presentation was horrible! W H Y

So we ordered, vegetable lasagna, baked chicken, belgian chocolate cookies and cheese parissiene (I hope I spelled it right)The vegetable lasagna is unbelievably sour and the baked chicken is too ordinary. We waited soooo long for the orders to be served and it was a disappointment.I must say that their baked goodies are pretty good though.

Comfort food place. My wife and I have been dining in French Baker branches since college. Their menu items have remained consistent through the years. Pricing also is not too bad. Food is served freshly prepared. Value for money.

This bread-fiend was so happy The French Baker was part of the Coffee and Milk Tea Crawl which was held last Friday September 14.I so love bread especially the freshly baked  French kind. It didnt hurt that The French Baker are experts at it having  been in the business for more than a quarter of a century...

Coffee series!!!A trio of iced coffees welcome us at The French Baker, SM City Sucat. I know French Baker for their breads and pasties, and yes, even for their hot meals. However, I didn't know they offer different coffee selections, from flat white to americano to macchiato. Tried them iced for a refreshing stir, and I was hooked! I say, best paired with their chicken or tuna pie for a great start of the day!
