Didnt like almost everything. Even the rice wasnt cooked right... Service also wasnt good for example water you had to get for yourself ive been to cheaper buffets that serve water at least. Not worth it wondering how this place even got 4.4 stars

Dined here last December 2, 2019 and it was alright. Some of the meats/poultry like their pork dishes and the roasted duck were still kinda chewy. They have an average selection of food though. Dessert selection was pretty great. However, they do not maintain its order. They had a nice selection of bread accompaniments and I found some pesto & sun-dried tomatoes + this pork “with balsamic vinegar” so I kindly asked if they had balsamic vinegar anywhere because I couldn’t find it in the station despite seeing the card thingy that indicated that there should be some. The cook manning the station told me to go to the Garde Manger station to get the Balsamic Vinegar so I went there and asked the cook there. To no avail did I find my Balsamic Vinegar though (which was alright but I hope they communicate within themselves so as to not cause confusion to their customers)

We got a metrodeal promo for this buffet and I can say that it is worth the price. This buffet offers a wide range of flavors and we went here for a dinner buffet. It is more special since Saturdays are seafood night where they offer lobster and other seafood. Moreover, you can chose a flavor for the seafood since they have a paluto-style for the seafood section. As for the steak, it was great and cooked according to what you asked them to cook. The dessert bar also had halo-halo, crepes, and cakes. The overall ambiance of this buffet is good and makes you want to drink a lot (they offer bottomless beer for adults).

Best deal if you have a discount 😅 They offer different dishes for lunch and dinner. They have more options during dinner time. Even if they offer more food during dinner time, it’s still worth the price. There are lots of options from pasta, pizza, grilled meat, filipino dish, and lots of dessert. Take advantage of the meat station and japanese station buffet.

One gets the sense that this place is more about quantity than quality. I was there for lunch on 9/23 and the food counters looked like no one was minding them given the disarray. The dessert section was particularly bad — the halo halo counter was close to empty, the fruits were not only so limited but they looked so unappetizing and disorderly. I had high expectations given some of the reviews I read but my experience was a huge letdown. One very good thing though was the warmth and the promptness of the waitstaff. They were consistently helpful.

Nice ambiance, good food, especially their prime beef steak. I like the way they cook the butter & garlic shrimp. Staff always pay attention to their guest!

The Café is a great place to go to if you want good buffet food and a sophisticated ambiance. The place is dimly lit compared to other buffet places, which gives it a more posh feel. The couch chairs were really comfortable too!The highlight of the buffet was definitely the carving station, more specifically the US Wagyu beef. You also can request cut size and doneness of the beef. The grilled chicken with spiced yogurt was also a crowd favorite. The salad bar had a wide selection of ingredients and dressings, which is great if you’re an aficionado. Don’t forget to try the Caesar and Pommery dressings. The Japanese section was quite limited, though the sushi and maki tasted very fresh and were well seasoned. They also had a wider variety of seafood too chose from (clams, shrimp, lobster, mussels and shrimp, to mention a few). You could also ask the chefs to bake or sauté it with your chosen sauce. As for the rest of the Asian section, they only had traditional Thailand (but no Pad Thai) and Filipino food. The Thai ribs and Beef curry were a personal favorite. I highly recommend it! For the Filipino food, they only had 5-6 dishes, which I wasn’t able to try anymore. The Cheese and Cold cuts section is also something worth mentioning. The selection isn’t as wide as that of Spiral, but the select cheese present were really good. The butter was also wonderful and light. The mixed nut pie and cheesecake is also something worth mentioning. The other dessert choices were quite unremarkable. The same can be said for the pasta station.Overall, the experience was really good, considering that we availed for the BDO credit card discount. The staff were really polite and attentive. It could have been better a wider selection of food, especially for the Asian and Dessert sections, but the ambiance and quality of food was able to compensate for it. September 29, 2019, Sunday, LunchWe came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Buffet is at Php 2799 per person.THE PLACEIt was the furthest place within COD! However, I liked the ambiance and decorations.THE BUFFET SETUPHonestly, it took some time to figure out where everything was. The starters (salad, cheeses, etc.) were “hidden” behind the Japanese sushi station. There are no clear names for each station so you actually have to guess or ask if you’re in the correct station. Aside from what’s painted on the back walls (Bolognese, Meats, etc), one would think that’s more of a decoration than a station name. The pasta station in particular I had to ask, because what’s shown in front of the station were seafood, foie gras, and some bread and spreads. The grilling station, same thing. THE SERVICEWhere do I begin? The servers were okay. It was hit and miss. Sometimes you have to ask twice. The chefs on stations were okay also, but I want to elaborate - the guy at the pasta station was really pleasant, had a smile on his face and worked fast. The girl at the grilling station, I was not sure if she’s instructed to do this... but I ordered Wagyu steak, medium well. I watched her cook. She used her metal spatula to flatten the very thin slice of beef, I guess to cook it faster??? You know what that action did? All the juices of the beef was extracted. The beef, was not cooked medium well, but well done, it was tough and dry and had to taste. When I came back for salmon, she did the same thing. Squished everything. Not a good idea. For the seafood “paluto”, again, no clear sign where to have it cooked. Everyone that was there had to ask including me. The guy asked me how I want my shrimp/prawns cooked. I said, GARLIC, BUTTER, SPICY. He responded, “Ah sweet chili.” Nope. Not what I ordered. There’s chopped bird’s eye chilli somewhere there, that was what I wanted with the garlic/butter/spicy instruction. Not sweet. Not sweet chili that was just sweet. THE FOOD- Lechon, was pre cut, stored beside the actual lechon, cold, makunat- Pork Belly - meh- Wagyu Beef - already mentioned, not cooked properly, dry, tasteless- Shrimp/Prawns - already mentioned, not what I had ordered, but not overcooked- Sushi/Maki Rolls - the rice VERY VERY WET. Nagsasabaw pag kain mo. Breaks easily/no structure. No flavor also. - Foie Gras and Pasta - good- Salmon - dry, overcooked- Tempura - good- Dessert - just okay, tried everything, wide selection- Drinks - goodEverything else was fine. The bill took too long to settle.IN SUMMARYI expect more for the price we paid - all aspects of the buffet including the ones mentioned above. The selection of food was okay, but at this price point, it should really stand out! Same thing with the desserts. It shouldnt be all the typical items I see elsewhere even if there’s a lot to choose from. I’m not really satisfied with the buffet, but I am open to try again in the future. I hope you fix these little things, especially the squishing of beef and the amount of water/liquid seasoning in your sushi/maki rice. For everything, it should always be QUALITY over quantity.

A lot of buffet restaurants have popped up across Manila, promising a very wide selection of food. The Cafe, however, somehow deviated from this trend, stripped down their choices a tad bit‎, concentrate on what is frequently ordered, and cooked them well. The result? Quality dining experience in which the price is worth it.

We had dinner there Oct 25. The place is cozy and the tables are far apart (not crowded). The food selection is complete. Eatigo discount is applicable. Got mine with 30% discount. Comes with beer all you can to which Ive not encountered with other hotel buffets.
