Last Saturday, we attended a website x SM Bicutan Food Crawl to check out the food places they have on offer. For diners on a budget, there’s always the SM Food Court at Mall B. However, if you would like to venture away from the food court, there’s also Tapa King at the Lower Ground Floor, Mall A.TAPA KINGTapa King is known for Filipino favorites and aside from the usual Tapa King, Tapa Queen and Tapa Prince, they now also have other dishes like the Crispy Liempo, Garlic Kangkong, and a moist chocolate cake that only costs P65 per slice.Their tapas are still quite good, best eaten with some suka (vinegar). Tapa King is still a classic.Price range for Tapa King's rice meals are from P125 - 165.Tapa King was something I used to have delivered a lot back in the day, and is still something I fall back on when craving for a quick but very affordable Filipino meal.

I've always been a fan of Tapa King because of their Crispy Liempo. When I'm stressed with work (and/or life haha), I usually had it delivered because sometimes, I'm to lazy to go out and eat or fix something up for myself. My favorite combo has always been Crispy Liempo and Wanton Soup. It's affordable and delicious!I also swear by their Tokwa't Baboy and Garlic Kangkong. Definitely not bad for the price. Those are my second choices when the Wanton Soup is not available. There's something with the way they season and fry their Crispy Liempo that always makes me crave for it. And of course, the serving is another big factor. This meal is in my list of comfort food during a bad day or just whenever I don't want to think of what I would have for lunch or dinner. I always pair the liempo with vinegar with crushed garlic and their atchara. It can never go wrong! For accessible, budget-friendly and yummy Pinoy food quick fix, Tapa King is always just a stone's throw away! You can also have your meals delivered to your door step! Try their desserts! Their Leche Flan and Chocolate Cake are surprisingly good.(Part of the website x SM Bicutan Food crawl last March 10, 2016)

A very popular tapa joint in metro manila with over 40 branches nationwide, Tapa king offers all day breakfast from their special tapa's to a very rich sinigang. Today we are invited to have a try on their well kept tapa recipe. They have 4 kinds of tapa which are the tapa king , tapa queen , tapa prince and tapa flakes. I liked it all, but for me  the best was the original tapa king. The strips of beef was marinated properly and the sourness of their vinegar complements well to the tapa. We also tried their tokwa't baboy, champorado, Boneless bangus and many more.

Been eating in this branch a lot of times and as always I'm happy and satisfied. This morning for not too heavy brunch I ordered the budget meal for only Php90 add ten and you will have soup and iced tea. I like their tapa not too salty and not toasted burned nor rubbery.Staff are kind and the place is neat. They also offers more hearty tapa combinations ,will try their crispy liempo next time.Overall verdict one of the nice tapa places in Better Living. Budget friendly too!
