Sinigang's owner was my former competitor last Adobolympics 2015 (legazpi market) and a friend of my teammate. So we decided to travel all the way from QC to BF on a holiday to escape our famous Manila crawl. It was formerly orange whisk (fusion of international dishes) and now a modern Filipino restaurant. We got all the suggestions of the owner, here's my verdict:Beef Kansi, it is basically slow boiled beef soured by batwan or liwas, which is popular in Iloilo. The soup lacks the acidity (the cook forgot the souring agent, admitted by the owner after trying). The beef is tender enough but a little bit on the chewy side. Adobong Sisig is the their version of the Pampanga classic. It was really superb! Especially how Filipinos eat their sisig flooded with Knorr seasoning, with his version, you just squeeze the calamansi and its ready to eat. No to overseasoning already! Paksiw na Salmon was as perfect as it is, just lacks a bit of acidity for me. I got used to having paksiw on the sour side, but the accompaniment of bitterless ampalaya!!! The salmon was boneless!!! It was a stressless paksiw dish with bitterless ampalaya! What a perfect combination!!!Bagnet at Talong is another highlight for my trip. It maybe as simple as it seems, bagnet + fried eggplant + bagoong = BOMB! The bagnet was cooked like a chicharron, crunchy, fatty, and tasty!!!Inihaw na Panga ng Tuna is a simple grilled tuna jaw served with soy suace and chopped tomatoes. The tuna was prefectly cooked with charred sides that gives you a nice smokey burnt taste. It brought me to Cebu!!! This dish reminded me of my usual grilled fish or sugba in (forgot the name) which was served with green tomatoes and eating with your hands!!! I wish i can go back to Cebu again soon to enjoy their simple SuTuKil cuisine again. This is how Filipino food should be presented, simple but bursting with vibrant flavors that shows how 'its more fun in the Philippines.'

The name says it all.. Filipino food! 👌🏻 Tried Sinigang na Spareribs and its soup is really sour and flavorful. Adobong sisig was good and has a unique different taste from your ordinary pork sisig in town. Ginisang hipon sa talaba (if im not mistaken with the name) seems that it was just fresh from the sea salt. I love it!! It reminds me of the Garlic Shrimp that we ordered from Boracay. 😱👅 Sadly, their Bagnet is out of stock at that time. 😑 Better come earlier if you wanna try their famous menus!

I ordered the following:1. Karnet (Kare kareng bagnet)2. Sinigang na Bagnet3. Sisig4. EclairsThe price might be a little high for some but I can assure you it is worth it every single dime. One serving can be shared up to 4 people I believe. Everything is great except for one thing: I am from Kapitolyo and I always get lost when I go to BF. lolTry the eclairs! Try it!

Since in Singang, the choice of course is one of the above-mentioned. After much brooding, ended up with Siningang na Ulo at Tiyan ng Salmon sa Miso at Php 258 (regular). It's a bit sour for my liking but it's sulit. Servers said it's good for 3-4 but it can be more. It has generous serving of salmon which is a great plus for me. Good job! Highlight is Lechon Bagnet at Php 385. Deadly but super crispy! Can't help but munch and munch. Good choice! Before the gate outside is their cake shop. Didn't try but enjoyed looking at their quirky and funny note pads for sale. Enjoy eating,eatsdelicious.blogspot.com

No, we did not try any of their sinigang fare and neither did we order their other dishes which were staples from their now-closed original branch in Better Living. This time, we tried their lechong bagnet and wow, were we impressed! This is by far one of the very best fried bagnet dishes we have ever tried. Not very cheap at P385 per order but the serving is good for at least 3 persons (who like to watch their their cholesterol levels). Skin was still crunchy and meat so tender even some time after serving. And the fat was so juicy and mildly crunchy... yumm! To compliment the dish, we had their fried eggplant with bagoong. It was alright and nothing to write home about but was a good accompaniment to the bagnet. We will definitely return for their bagnet!

We were caught by surprise by how good the interiors looked.   Loved the high ceilings, quirky lamp whisks and hardwood tables.   The menu was extensive and there was even an off the menu list.   We were tempted to try their signature sinigang dishes but decided to save it for another visit.  On a dare, we opted to try out their ongoing promo of unli-bagnet (with unli rice and bottomless iced tea) and fried eggplant with bagoong.  They made us sign a waiver before proceeding to prepare our orders.   Well... They were not kidding about the waiver - just looking at the deadly crunchy bagnet will make you feel giddy and dizzy.  LOL  The bagnet was cut in huge chunks with liver sauce on the side.   Yummy as expected but definitely need to eat in moderation.    We commend their staff for being attentive to their customers without being too obtrusive.   The servers refilled our drinks without us calling them.  They also impressed us with how well they answered our questions about their menu offerings.   Kudos to their management for being receptive to feedback from their customers and revamping/adjusting their menu/services.Also worth mentioning are their promos like unlimited sinigang and unlimited bagnet to mention a few .  They always have something new to offer which keeps it interesting for their customers.Good location with parking slots and attendant.    This earns plus points from us since parking space is at a premium in BF Homes.

The meat used for the Sinigang was not fresh. The Calamares Bagnet Platter sounds appetizing but I didn't find anything special. They serve Dishes I can cook at home on a regular day.

Ordered karekareng bagnet and adobong liempo with gata. They also had this in Orange Whisk. Loved it before. Loved it here still! But when you leave the place the smell catches on to you.

We tried Unli Sisig, Unli Calamares & Sinigang. Very tasty & superb especially the Sinigang. The ambiance was cool. It feels like you're in your own home having a dinner with your friends. A must try restau. in the South.

It's funny how I ended up here swayed by their one of Facebook ads. YES, their unli-sisig and unli-calamares promos are LEGIT. You start off with a plate of sisig/calamares served with plain or garlic rice and bottomless iced tea. Their sisig is pretty good, they kept their usage of pork fat to a minimum, I love it because they added chicharon to give it texture and there's not much oil in it so it took like 3 servings before the "umay" kicked in. The GF was on a vacation with her family so I dined here with a friend. He ordered the calamares and gave me some. Basically, it tasted like the fried squid from Ersao with a way less breading. To get your money's worth, I suggest getting at least 2 refills. Overall, great food, great place... But the staff needs to be more alert when diners call their attention.
