A spicy pork ramen is already more than enough for me. So I must have done something really awesome to taste 4 more kinds! =) . Shitamachi is the third of the 6th restaurant we reviewed for website’s food crawl event. Check these out folks: . The Spicy Tantan ramen is my favorite. This is also one the number 1 choice for most of their regular customers. At least that’s what I was told by one of their staff members. And I can understand that, because spicy food is really the way to satisfy me.

We wanted to try a restaurant that's in SM BF since we were going to watch a movie in here as well and looking through website we found this restaurant. There were only a few people a while ago during lunch time so we decided to eat here. The place is cozy and simple and minimalistic but the design deserves a thumbs up. The servers were also attentive and nice. We ordered set D and set F plus the gyoza and they were delicious. I like the tempura corn flakes side dish and I was really full after eating. The gyoza was delicious but kind of lacks taste and sauce.

I always pass by this resto whenever I go to sm bf. I'm a bit skeptical with their menu and I dont really see a lot of people dining here but I dont want to be judgemental so i gave it a try. unfortunately, I was not mistaken. the tantanmen just tasted salty lacking flavor. the chashu pork on it tasted nothing but boiled pork and the yolk of the tamago was undercooked so it was watery. The only compliment would be the noodles where it was cooked well. it was a set meal so it was accompanied by chicken karaage with some maybe some tartar sauce and it was no good as well for I think they forgot to let the chicken drip a bit before serving so the excess oil mixed up with the sauce and and everything. I usually ask for some service tea whenever I dine in a Japanese resto and the TEA tasted like water. The concept's really good however I think they need to do something about quality and consistency.
