New location, new menu. Place: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️• Modern interior, more spacious, more vibrant and bigger parking spaceFood: ⭐️⭐️• This used to be one of the best Japanese restaurants for me before that my family was willing to travel all the way from QC just to eat here for sunday lunch. But I don't know, my family and I were all disappointed with the new menu. They removed lots of items from past menu like Gyudon(one of the best imo), Katsudon, etc. Their Tonkatsu donburi was bombarded with herbs, the beef stripes of the new substitute for Gyudon was a bit salty. Lots of unavailable items on the menu including Salmon sashimi on a sunday lunch. Felt like they prioritized presentation over taste. Personally, I'm sad because this used to be one of my favorite go to Japanese restos and I felt like that food isn't what it used to be. I just hope they bring back the old menu.

Sensei is an amazing Japanese establishment that was opened by Bruce Ricketts a few years back. The restaurant has recently been moved to a separate location, also found in B.F. and has also been given a fresh new look and atmosphere. As for the food, Sensei has never failed to disappoint. In fact, since it’s reopening, I believe that the quality of food has significantly increased as well as the flavour of each dish. The tempura was perfectly light and crispy. Each sushi that I tried had its own unique flavour, and everything was well balanced. He had unique combinations for each one and the entire meal was an amazing experience. If you ever find yourself in the B.F. area you should definitely stop by! I will for sure come back and try his other specialties!
