Remarkable Birthday ExperienceCelebrated my birthday last November 22 here. Booked a reservation in less than 10 mins through their online chat support. Their customer service is one of a kind. I had to reschedule 30 mins prior my booking reservation and surprisingly received confirmation within 5 mins (yes, it was that quick and it's very seldom to get a quick response on such short notice). In terms of the dining experience, this place is really commendable considering the pandemic risk. The tables were socially distanced and we even saw how the place were diligently disinfected before we left. It isn't your usual buffet experience because the food will be served to you as you request it. Moreover, the variety of foods from the menu almost complements each other - from steamed to deep fried, savory to sweet. The taste is so unique! I would even remember the first bite of how shrimp and mango complements each other for a savory taste. My favorites go with the dishes mixed with szechuan sauce. And don't forget to try all the desserts!! Do experiment mixing a bit of the dishes, and you'll definitely get a new taste! We were even shocked with the complimentary birthday cake served, I really liked dark chocolate and the flavor of the cake was also unique for a dark chocolate lover like me, esp when combined with their tea (you can order them for an additional fee!). Lastly, I would say that the experience won't be remarkable without the friendly ates and kuyas serving the dishes to us. I would often laugh at my repetitive orders and they'll laugh with us as if we made new friends (it's good that we can know their first names). Thank you Kuya Rogelio, Ate Justine and Ate Rose for making my birthday experience here memorable! Certainly coming back!

It’s been a while I had a proper dine-out since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown. And for our family, to have a spectacular Sunday all-you-can-eat Chinese lunch at Solaire’s Red Lantern is absolutely an Aladdin’s Cave discovery during these .For only PHP999+ per person, one can have unlimited helpings from an extensive selection of roastings, soup, dim sum, main courses, rice, noodles, congee and desserts to boot.My expectations are high before arrival knowing the extremely positive reviews from other reviews. And to my family’s pleasant surprise, we were assigned to a private VIP room with a large table for 6 people (physically distanced). The interior is undeniably luxurious.Here’s the lowdown of some of the dishes we had (since we ordered a lot!):Char Siu with Honey - Glazed porky goodness. The balance of fat and freshness of the lean pork meat makes up with the charred flavor along with the sweet glaze.Soy Sauce Chicken Wings- A bit on the dry side but the twist of garlic flavor are slamming!Crispy Shrimp Wonton - These are addictive as hell. Fresh shrimps go well with the crispy wonton wrapper.Barbecued Pork Pastry Puff - The heavily sauced char siu combined with the buttery and flaky pastry is plain addictive!Har Gau - The shrimp dumplings are crazy fresh with a twist of the coriander. Extra servings of the chili oil please!Sea Cucumber Dumpling in broth - This is one fancy dumpling. An entire sea cucumber stuffed with a whole prawn in a light broth is a surprising combination of seafood. Something new and it works!Prawn Salad - Unlike most Chinese restaurants’ versions of this classic dish, the breading is pleasantly light to retain the freshness of the prawns. This dish was devoured in no time!Braised Noodles with Mushrooms - A marvelous dish of wok fried noodles. This Chinese restaurant is located inside Solaire Resort and Casino. Solaire Resort was really one of the kind in terms of accepting guests in their hotel and casino. The way they practice disinfection was really high class starting from the hallway to the main entrance until reaching main door of the main entrance. We visited the restaurant thru a same-day phone reservations. When we arrived, they assisted us to a closed dining area covered with high curtains (upon requests). It was really elegant and our privacy was maintained. We have tried their table-top lunch buffet. Servings for each meal were good for how many will be the persons on the table. We have tried mostly what they offered in their menu.We loved the “Siew Mai” and the “Ha Gao”. I believed these were their specialties. Mostly we focused in the “Dim Sum” menu. For the Mains, I recommend trying their “Crispy fried prawn salad with mixed fruits”. The prawns were really crispy and fresh. And for the desserts, we all loved the Chilled Mango Sago with Pomelo as well as the Baked Mini Portuguese Egg Tart. They were really satisfying. Though a little overpriced, Overall, if we still have the time in our vacation, we will definitely come back to try their other specialties.
