Went to my all-time favorite ramen house inside BF Homes Parañaque, got a chance to taste all their best sellers and their newest curry flavor (they will offer this soon! Abang-abang Southies! ). Congratulations for being hailed as one of @zomatoph ' top ten website' s choice in 2019. The second branch of Ramen Kuroda I've ever dined in and this is legitimately their first ever branch that stood it's ground here in the Philippines.This ramen place is always on my top list whenever I'm craving for filling and authentic ramen that's on the affordable side. My favorite ramen is their Shiro Ramen (just because it's mild) but I got a chance to try all of them: Shiro, Kuro, Aka, and Bari Kara. The Kuro has that garlicky taste which I also like (especially the tenderness of their pork), while the Aka ramen is surprisingly not that spicy! The level of spiciness was tolerable. While if you're into REALLY SPICY ramen, then you should try their Bari Kara. I just took a teaspoon of their broth and my sorry tongue can't take the heat-- yet it was good.They'll be having a new ramen on their menu, to be released soon! (Hint: it's also a flavor in one of their signature Japanese meals)This branch is just so cozy, and I wanna bring my fam here!

Ramen Kuroda has always been one of my top choices when it comes to authentic affordable ramen. I have eaten in their branches in malls but this is my first time visiting their first branch – BF homes. We ordered their bestsellers – (1) Kuro Ramen - Garlic flavor , (2) Aka Ramen - Mild Spicy Flavor, (3) Shiro Ramen - Basic Ramen, and (4) Bari Kara - Pure Spicy Ramen.Out of the four, the ones that stood out was the AKA Ramen and KURO Ramen. These two will be my top recommend whenever I think about Ramen Kuroda.We were also able to try their new ramen — Curry Ramen. Unlike the others, the noodles and broth of this curry ramen is a lot thicker. The flavor is more on the mild spicy side. Oh, the selling point of this ramen is the thick cheese on top 😁

If there was a ground zero of quality affordable ramen it has to be Ramen Kuroda in BF Pque. BF Pque. the cradle of superb mom and pop restaurants that eventually become behemoths in the business (See Conti’s, Mama Lou’s etc.), helped incubate what has to be the best value for Money Ramen Bar out there. One can only wonder how they can serve bowls of Shiro and Kuro Ramen which to the untrained palate could taste like liquified pork with noodles at a bargain price. If Ramen Bars like boxing has a pound for pound ranking factoring in price and quality, Ramen Kuroda BF has to to be at the top of that list. This is one of life’s mysteries that’s best left unsolved and just best enjoyed.

I fairly enjoyed my visit in this place but I can't help but notice how oily their ramen was. By the time my soup is around 40% done, the oil starts to surface itself right before me and I can't help but feel its dominance with any further sips of the soup I take.

A bit disappointed. Though this is one of my favorite ramen place in the south, i was surprised that they don't provide the usual sides (pickled ginger, karashi takana, garlic) when you order the ramen set. If we have to pay then fine. They don't realize that the sides are included to have a better overall experience of enjoying the ramen. Though i will still be back, but will not order the set ramen.

It's worth the wait. Before, we always end up looking for another place as there was always a long line to get in. This time, since we are not so hungry, we decided to wait. And... Loved their Ramen! It's so tasty you can finish the whole bowl in few minutes. Staffs are attentive to orders too. This will be one of our fave Ramen on the list.

Got to visit the first branch of my go-to Ramen place in BF Homes. Their reasonable price makes them one of the best. And that’s Ramen Kuroda. This is how the storefront looks like. . Parking was packed at lunchtime. We went there 5 minute earlier before they open so there wasn’t any crowd.
