Great food here for those who loves pasta and pizza. The food is very affordable, very cosy and nice ambience they have here and the best part is that they have the niciest and hospitable crews here.. kudos! Will definitely go back here..

Beef and mushroom in red wine reduction is a must try! 💋 ambiance is really nice. I would love to see the servers deliver our food with tray on our next visit vs carrying food one by hand with their hands

A new place along the busy Aguirre Street where food industry seems to be thriving ...or not, depending on how good your product is. This is the place where food businesses turn over rates are a bit fast. Their signage is very eye catching, and when you get in, its spacious, and hip and comfy... Until of course when I started eating, I realized that the seat was a bit low against the height of the table, and a few centimetres afar and I could not very well drag the seat, which was why the sauce of my food, I didn't notice til it was pointed out by my friend, dripped on my pristine shirt. 5 for the service :) The servers acted as if they were trained by the Bistro Group, especially Vin who was attentive and friendly yet professional. He gave us room to peruse the menu then when we were ready he was there without us calling him. When we asked for seasonings, apart from what they put on the table, he said he will try to look for them in the kitchen if they have, he did provide us with what we were asking for (most servers in restos of the same level as this place would just outrightly say no even if they have). He and Anthony looked like they know how to handle the job professionally. We are still going back to try some of the dishes here, since the ones we ordered were not satisfying to make an impression enough for us to endorse the dishes. The thing is, we are so used to Italian food everywhere that we try to liken this place to them, but that would be a bit unfair. But then again, those places set the bar unless you have been to Italy or your family is married to an Italian family, which of course would point you out to what's authentic. In PastaRoni's case, when we tasted the food, Sbarro's came to mind immediately. The pasta we ordered tasted like it's been made by the same chef of that resto. The Porkchop they served us had a thick fat that it runs in contravention to their motto of guilt free Italian cooking. This is on top of the fact that the meat was like that of a hog instead of the regular pig (read: age meat difference) that as you chew it had this mature meat taste. Then it was too white like it was boiled instead of baked. Why did we ask for seasonings? That was because the meat wasn't marinated and it tasted like it was boiled. The skin even had hog's hair :/The Double Double Mozzarella Cheese Bake is quite unique. They still rolled the mozzarella in bread crumbs, layered with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. You have to eat this right away if you order it, otherwise you'd be staring at a lump of cheese that you wish you didn't order :D The choco Lava with ice cream is great, except that it would have been pure delight to just serve it with the oh so simple yet creamy vanilla ice cream instead of flavoured one, to underline the richness of the oozing chocolate when you spoon a portion. With the flavoured(it's just one scoop but there is a strawberry, mocha/chocolate and something else in it ) ice cream, it muddled the whole taste. Price wise, it's very affordable, which is why it would really be a shame to have such a nice place, excellent staff, friendly price but so-so food.

Pastaroni is definitely a hidden gem in Aguirre. I personally was very intimidated by it at first, but after getting to try their food, i realized there was nothing to be intimidated about because their food is just purely delicious -- and affordable too!I was fortunate enough to taste quite a few of their best sellers and by far my favorites are as follows:- Baked meatball marinara. We were warned that this might be a little dry because they used really lean meat in making it but it was anything BUT dry! Delicious array of flavors all molded into one little meatball. Yums. - Greek Salad. Very light and refreshing, no doubt! - Spaghetti Aglio Oglio. Light, very garlic-y. Just how i like it!- Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta. This was the star of the night for me! Really really delicious!! The others were also really good. The ambiance was really relaxing and the waiters always served you with smiles. Don't forget to try their Guava juice together with the viands and expect yourself to come out of this place fully satisfied!

Pastaroni recently opened a new branch along Aguirre (you can find their first branch in BGC). This family-owned restaurant offers healthy and guilt-free Italian-Mediterranean dishes at such affordable prices. They use only the finest ingredients—whole wheat flour, Italian tomatoes, pure olive oil, lean meat, organic brown rice, etc. For appetizers, I would recommend the Baked Meatball Marinara. The owner warned us that we might find it a bit dry because lean meat tends to dry out while baking, but I didn't find it dry at all! For cheese lovers, you might wanna try the Double Double Mozzarella Cheese Bake. It's basically BAKED (not fried) mozzarella cheese sticks so you can enjoy the gooey goodness without the guilt. If you like salads, try their Greek Salad. I'm personally not fond of greens, but I can see my mom and my sister liking this dish a lot.Their pizza dough is made with whole wheat, so it tastes healthy. I liked their pizzas but I would prefer it more if they had more cheese. My favorite among the pasta dishes we tried was the Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta because you can hardly go wrong with a bacon + cheese combo. I also liked their Smoked Salmon Linguine. The smoked salmon provides the perfect balance to the creaminess of the white sauce. Simple, but it tastes sophisticated.Among the entrees, I loved their Osso Buco, Beef and Mushroom in Red Wine Reduction, and Roasted Pork Stew. The meats were unbelievably tender and tasty. We also tried their Herbed Roast Chicken and their Baked Fish in Creamy Pesto sauce. The chicken comes with a special ~secret~ sauce that we all couldn't stop raving about! Too bad I was too full already so I wasn't able to dig into the entrees as much.Lastly, for dessert we had Choco Lava Cake ala mode and Chunky Chocolate Cake with Marshmallow Frosting (did I finally get that right this time??? 😅). I personally loved the latter—not to sweet but sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. I guess my only comment would be that I hope they try to avoid serving baked dishes with burnt edges (just for aesthetic purposes hehe). Or serve them in darker plates so it won't be too obvious maybe? They also have to improve on plating a bit. But overall, Pastaroni is the perfect place if you wanna take your family out for dinner. Cozy interiors, great service, and affordable but yummy food. The lighting's also nice so your photos will turn out very instagram-worthy. Will I come back? Definitely! 😊

After leaving the restaurant with a full stomach, only two words came to mind when I looked back at my dining experience in Pastaroni: inspiring and delicious. We were fortunate to have listened to the owner discuss each of the dishes we tried, and I saw how much of her heart she had poured into carefully crafting each one.My personal favorite out of the appetizers is the Baked Meatball Marinara. This is easily followed by the Double Double Mozzarella Cheese Bake, which is a dream for all lovers of mozzarella sticks. The Greek Salad is highly recommended if you're in the mood for something light and healthy. As for the pastas, my favorite was the Salmon Linguine (MUST TRY!!!). The Chicken Pesto Linguine was great as well, but I feel that it was a tad bit bland and could need a little more improvement. I also suggest getting the Osso Buco and the Beef and Mushroom in Red Wine Reduction, which I think will be great when you pair it with some brown rice (which only costs P30). And to end our meal on a high note, we also got to try the Choco Lava Cake and the Chunky Chocolate Cake, which were both great and had just the right amount of sweetness.Servers were also really friendly and the place was beautiful! Definitely highly recommend this restaurant for families and barkadas!

Everybody loves a good success story. From rags to riches, zeroes to heroes, stories about the triumph of men are not forgotten. Drake even once sung a song that goes “Started from the bottom, now we’re here” and it’s such a massive hit! It is in these tales that humans are inspired to do good and be good. PastaRoni is a primary example of a great success story.PastaRoni started as a small space take-out counter back in 2009 at Bonifacio StopOver. Back then, its other competitors barely serve sufficient nutrients in their food outlets. This was how PastaRoni managed to be different. In 2012, PastaRoni decided to reinvent itself. From a tiny space to a full dining experience, they fully wowed their customers. Their newest branch is in 283 Aguirre Ave., BF Homes, Paranaque City. Nearest landmarks include Meat Depot and Crossfit Paranaque City.PastaRoni prides itself with delicious, affordable and healthy meals. You don’t even have to worry about the size at all. Definitely good for sharing too!Upon arriving early, I was greeted with a warm cup of coffee. The place was really cold so I appreciated the gesture. They do have to take note to add a serving spoon for their condiments.Soon after, the scent of the appetizers started to fill the room. The savory scent of the meatballs and mozzarella cheese bake were utterly heavenly. I was left speechless with how appetizing it looked. Upon tasting them, there was no room for doubts: it was good.On the other hand, I didn’t enjoy their Italian Sausage and Margherita pizzas. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s bad. I’m not just into guilt-free pizzas at all. I want to enjoy my pizzas as guilty pleasures.I have mixed reviews in regards to their pastas, but I recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese and Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta.I’ll have to dedicate a short note regarding their Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta. I really enjoyed this dish. The cheesiness and the goodness of the bacon partied all night long in my mouth.Their Salmon Linguine, Wild Mushroom Truffle Linguine, and Chicken Pesto Linguine didn’t leave an impression on me. It either had too much flavor or it lacked. For me, there was a fierce battle between the salmon and pasta. Both had strong contrasting flavors that just didn’t jive in my mouth. It was a battle wherein no one won.Sweet Jesus, hands down to their Beef and Mushroom in Red Wine Reduction and Roasted Pork Stew. Heaven was within my reach with these two around. Definitely worth recommending.Another noteworthy dish was their Herbed Roast Chicken. I was surprised with its huge size and incredible taste of its sauce. This is the dish that’ll send your tastebuds off the roof! Time for desserts! Both the Chunky Choco Fudge and Lava Dome was brilliantly done. Between the two desserts, I’m crazy for the Chunky Choco Fudge. I’ll definitely come back for this. Although both desserts lacked plating, its taste won’t let you down at all.

My first taste of Pastaroni was at its unassuming spot in BGC, straightforward, simple yet tasty and healthy Italian dishes at affordable prices. Its newest branch in the bustling Aguirre foodstrip is a homey, Italian inspired space. The Greek Salad and the Baked Meatball Marinara are good choices to start off your meal. Their Margherita Pizza (yes, in whole wheat crust!) is good in all its simplicity (I dab a little of chili oil and it makes a world of difference😁). The Spaghetti Aglio Oglio is a sure win, together with the rich Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta. Other must tries are the Salmon Linguine and Chicken Pesto Linguine. The Wild Mushroom Truffle I thought, lacked the truffle taste but was okay. For the Entrees, the Osso Buco was a winner, as well as the Beef and Mushroom in red wine reduction and Roasted Pork Stew with chickpeas and chorizo. The meats were fork tender. I thought the Guava juice was a good choice to wash down all the carbs😁 This restaurant is highly recommended for groups or families who want to sample casual yet tasty Italian dishes, yet none of the oiliness or "umay" factor that usually goes into dishes swimming in sauces. Dishes are good for 2-3 persons and are surprisingly affordable. Will definitely be back:)

Guilt-free Italian cookingThat's what Pastaroni prides itself for. Seeing this as their tag, along with their simple logo, one would assume this is as average a restaurant can be. But no, Pastaroni delivers more than just that.Located along Aguirre just between Meat Depot and Okiniiri, Pastaroni is easy to spot. A parking space is also available in front.Going in, you'll be greeted by the staff's warm smiles. Couches, wooden tables, and bricked-walls is what I'd call homey. Comfy ambiance and nice, cold air tells me I'd have a pleasurable time here. The menu isn't overwhelming. A few 4-7 dishes per course gives you ample options and the chance to try only the best, which is almost everything.PS. All dishes are good for sharing, serves approx. 2-3 persons. We had the Greek Salad (220p), Double Double Mozzarella Cheese Bake (260p), and Baked Meatball Marinara (195p) for appetizers. And yes, that is indeed a 'double-double' and not a typo. I'm not sure about you, but just that already sounds appetizing for me.One thing about me, I don't really eat vegetables so I didn't try the salad. But my friends say this is more on the sweeter side which is a good thing for a salad --eliminates the 'umay' factor. The Baked Meatball Marinara is good as well but nothing beats cheese for me, instantly moving the Cheese Bake on top of my reco list for Pastaroni. For Pizzas, we had Italian Sausage (295p) and Margherita (275p), both in slices of 8. Crust is just right --not thick but not too thin. Note that they use whole weat for their pizza crust, but this did not affect the taste one is looking for in a pizza. Their Margherita is notable for me since this is the first time I did not take out vegies on my pizza. What now, Bea? You're eating whole weat crust and vegies? Yes. With Pastaroni, yes, I am.Of course pasta should be where they stand out. So here I am telling you: they're not a let-down. We had Spaghetti Bolognese (180p), Spaghetti Aglio Oglio (180p), Chicken Pesto Linguine (260p), Wild Mushroom Truffle Linguine (220p), Salmon Linguine (260p), and Baked Bacon and Cheese Pasta (260p). Among the lot we ordered, their Salmon Linguine and Spaghetti Bolognese are my favorites. You'll be eating a lot, but worry not, they use Italian pasta made of special wheat which gives a good kind of carbs. We also had Osso Buco (280p), Beef and Mushroom in Red Wine Reduction (295p), Herbed Roast Half Chicken (320p), Roasted Pork Stew (280p), and Baked Fish in Creamy Pesto Sauce (280p).Their desserts are also a must-try. Their chocolate lava (120p) is heart. Of course keeping up with Pastaroni, their desserts are well-balanced and not too sweet.I honestly did not expect I'd like this place. Not a fan of healthy eating but Pastaroni gives you healthy food without sacrificing the taste I believe everyone deserves. Will definitely come back with my health-buff bro next time, sure he'll love it here :)

Yahoo! There's finally a restaurant near my house that serves great, affordable pasta dishes and pizzas. I had the chance to talk to the owner and one of the comments I gave her was "I'm going back here and I'm definitely bringing my family with me!" :PPastaroni is a restaurant that does its best to prevent you from gaining weight because they make their food as healthy as possible. For starters, they make every bit of their food from scratch and get their meat from farms that don't use chemicals/injections (for their animals or plants). So that means less chances of breaking your diet! ;-)Out of all the appetizers we tried, I liked the double double mozzarella cheese bake the most because it's made with extra extra extra cheese. Melted pa! The greek salad was refreshing because of the dressing that they paired it with, yum! Among the 4 pasta dishes, I liked the pesto the most. The flavor wasn't too overpowering nor was it bland - just perfect.Pastaroni's entree dishes were impressive. It reminded me of my Lola's cooking - WHICH BY THE WAY IS THE BEST COMPLIMENT ANYONE CAN GET - and it's surprisingly super affordable! Check out their menu to validate this!! Haha. I liked the Red Wine Reduction the most because it tasted new; I think it was the first time I had that :)Definitely recommending this and definitely going back! With my family, of course.
