I have never been to Japan so I don't know what is the taste of the real takoyaki. From the name itself, I thought we are going to try different takoyaki but they are giving more than just a takoyaki. The place is a bit dark for me but it is a huge place that It can accommodate around 30-40 person.Tonkatsu Ramen, It was good but I was looking for more flavor for the soup of the ramen.Yakisoba, Noodles topped with cabbage and pork drizzled with kewpie. It was a bit oily for me.Okonomiyaki Pork, it's a Japanese pancake, mixed vegetables, and pork but it was not incorporated properly.Takoyaki Original, Caution! Served very hot! but if you finished it for 2 mins you can have it for free. Some website told me it taste same in Japan.

For a quick and affordable Japanese cravings fix, head over to Osaka Takoyaki. Despite its namesake, they don’t just sell takoyaki. With a wide array of Japanese dishes, you’ll surely have a hard time picking what to eat.Tonkatsu Ramen - Perfect for rainy weathers! The soup would surely warm you up and the broth is flavorful. Their bowls are not as big as other ramen chains, but it’s enough to fill you up. The ramen includes 3 slices of juicy pork and half of an organic egg. Recommended!Okonomiyaki Pork - When I cut it apart, I was surprised with the big portions of pork that was in it. The dish easily crumbled when I took a couple of pieces. Is that normal? Idk. Yakisoba Pork - I don’t like ordering fried noodles in restaurants but this dish made me change my mind. This is certainly one of my favorites in their establishment. The pork slices that came in it were juicy and succulent. Recommended!Takoyaki - I have never went to Japan before so I have no idea about a takoyaki’s authenticity. Osaka Takoyaki’s takoyakis (original) are a bit sour, in my opinion. My taste buds are more of in the sweet side. The sizes are big so a plate would definitely make you full.

I was excited to try the restaurant’s Takoyaki. I have tasted the authentic takoyaki during our trip in Osaka months back and I was hoping a resto can replicate it locally.Enter Osaka Takoyaki. Just a year old, it boasts of using ingredients sourced from Japan. It helps that the owner is Japanese married to a Pinay. The place is larger than usual with dark grey ceiling which made the place a bit dim. We were served the followingTonkatsu Ramen P299Okonomiyaki Pork P230Yakisoba pork P230Original Takoyaki P150What Pigoutsundays loved : The Takoyaki was flavorful and delicious. My only issue with it was how little the portion of the octopus was inside. The price was good for 8 pcs.Service : alert and cheerfulPrice : It was affordable. The price ranged from a low of P150 to a high of P299 for the 4 dishes that were served to us last WednesdayWhat Pigoutsundays loved less:The Ramen broth could us a bit more flavor amd richness. Some parts of the okonomiyaki pork was good , others were just mushy. The Yakisoba pork tasted good albeit on the oily side.

One of the countries I fell in love with is Japan and it’s cuisine is also my favorite one. They offer notable street foods that are affordable and visually appetizing to the eye. Osaka Takoyaki is owned by a Japanese restaurateur. His aim is to bring the Japanese street food favorites to the Philippines. Tonkatsu Ramen (Php 299) the noodles was ok and the soup was like the light soup made in Tokyo which was fine since if you don’t want rich flavored soup. I just didn’t like how the chashu was so tough they grilled it instead of simmering. Okonomiyaki Pork (Php 230) tasted great but my only issue was the ingredients wasn’t distributed evenly there were some portions with meat then some none. They offer 7 varieties with their okonomiyaki. Yakisoba Pork (Php 230) it’s really good. Almost comparable with Japan’s yakisoba. My only concern was it’s too oily because of the hot plate which traps the oil. There are 7 options available for their yakisoba and yakiudon. Takoyaki Original (Php 150) Relatively the same one in Japan. Except the octopus chunk isn’t as big but the taste is the same. There’s also cheese takoyaki (Php 170) if you want cheese with your takoyaki. Thank you Osaka Takoyaki for having us.

I have tried authentic Japanese food and I this place has to be one of the restaurants who can offer you with food that’s closest to the authentic ones. Their Takoyaki, for me their Takoyaki is good and its big size and the amount of Takoyaki they give you which is 6 pieces for 150 pesos. Definitely worth the price.Their Yakisoba, definitely my favorite. It is packed with flavor! For the price of 230 pesos, for me, this one so far is the closest to an authentic Japanese Yakisoba I have had.Their Okonomiyaki, is quite good. I may not be a huge fan of the Okonomiyaki, but this one is definitely on the plus side. It tastes good and the serving amount is also huge for the price of 230 pesos. The place is also nice and spacious.Overall, this place is definitely a must try for its affordable quality food.
