Small restaurant in BF. I liked the uni sushi, it tasted very fresh. The ox tongue on the grill wasn’t as greasy as that of Nikuya. This place was pretty full by the time we left. They had a whole grilled fish that people seemed to order a lot, as I saw several tables with them.

This happened twice! They do not double check what the customers order. My siblings got their order ahead of time while mine was delivered to the table when my siblings were half way through with theirs. What’s worse was when my order got to the table, my mom’s food still has not come out only to find out that IT WAS NOT PLACED but was mentioned when the waitress repeated it when we initially ordered. The staff did nothing to make up for what was a dinner ruined for my mom who already lost her appetite but only with a shitty apology with no intervention from the owner’s wife. I can honestly say that I will not be going back to this place. Good food cannot compensate for their SHITTY SERVICE!

I rated Nikumaru one star because of the bad service that we have experienced back-to-back. Although the food is great, the service was unforgiving especially when the manager did not even seem to be concerned about us when order was not placed by the waitresses. My mother was very hungry, which is why we went to Nikumaru. But she did not get the ramen that she ordered despite multiple follow-ups from us. When my siblings and I were about to finish, we followed-up my mother’s order once more but that was only the time that it was placed in their kitchen. The manager did not seem to care about the problem that occured, nor did not give any compensation to my mother. The manager and the waitresses only stared at our table, not even apologizing that the order was not placed. Which is why me and my family do not recommend this restaurant because of their bad service.

Staff and owner are very accommodating. The food is great and it's really worth the money! 💜 Their sashimi are always fresh and served perfectly.

We go to this place when we are craving for authentic Japaneses dishes! We love their Salmon Sashimi the most! My toddler also enjoys their Karaage and the Japanese goods available to buy and take home.

Nikumaru is a mixed bag for me honestly, it offers great ambiance, engaging attendants ( though service was a little slow) and a reasonably priced Menu. The Sashimi was as fresh and as melt in your mouth as it could be, the rolls were made with excellent ingredients and well cooked japanese rice (the rice used in almost all dishes was superb). However the restaurant fell short with their tempura (bland and overcooked), yakisoba lacked the salty umami like kick you expected to have and the ramen was a little dissapointing for its lack of flavor. Im not sure If I will have a second serving of bento in this place sadly

The food is great! The meats and ingredients come from Japan and it just taste better. We've tried their family Yakiniku platter as a sampler and it didn't disappoint. Desert was also very pleasant with a wide variety. We tried the matcha ice cream, coffee jelly and the almond tofu, which we immensely enjoyed. For the food quality you get, we thought it would be pricey but we're surprised that the bill came out to be very reasonable. The staff are also very friendly, making the entire dining experience truly enjoyable.

They have a big and very affordable menu that's usual for izakaya restaurants.  Most of what we ordered was good to great.  Loved their chirashi sushi -- it's just the right size and the rice is flavored very well.  The ebi tempura is one of the best there is -- good batter (just the right combination of softness and crunch) and good size.   Unfortunately I live in Pasig so I won't be able to eat here as much as I'd want.  We ate here on Good Friday and the place was packed with mostly Japanese patrons.  Speaks for the quality and value I suppose.  And don't forget to get yuzu sorbet for dessert.

A cozy little resto in the heart of BF Homes Aguirre. The wait staff were all very attentive and friendly. Green tea was complimentary. I loved my Tendon and my husband loved his Maguro Don.

Their food is so good and soo fresh here! Top quality ingredients! I love coming here alone and just sit behind the bar with a bottle of cold san miguel beer and watch your food being prepared by a great Filipino sushi chef.
