Filipino comfort food.. Max's is the place to go.  Warm service from the staff, a wonderful Pinoy trait.  I like the uniform of the food servers.  Their chicken and the sauce - catsup and Worcestershire sauce a perfect combination.  I enjoyed this new dish - Sizzling Tofu, healthy but yummy.

Max's SM Bicutan ,my first time to dine here though I always bought GCs and food here both as gifts and pasalubongs.I was just walking pass the branch then I saw an ad on their glass wall ,karekare and crispy pata rice toppings so I gave it a go.As always ,my rule is to not expect much ,the kare kare rice topping was good ,tender beef and tripe cubes, rightly cooked veggies , rich ,subtle and delicious karekare gravy complimented by a not too salty nor sweet bagoong.Interior is typical of a Maxs restaurant yet organized and clean, staff are courteous and attentive.Good homegrown restaurant, reasonably priced food, nice service and proximity ,a big thumbs up!

It was so delicious. I love the crunchy chicken with rice. My favorite part was the halo halo. Super big, it was fantastic! I will come back definitely. They also have a bakery and I bough to boxes full of sweets. It was very affordable

Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in the Philippines. The fried chicken was so crispy and full of delicious juices. The halo halo was second best compared to chowking.

Had the unli chicken deal today but regretfully so. They serve one chicken quarter at a time until you say no more. There should be no leftover and you cannot choose a chicken part to save the day. The distinct Max's flavor is evident on the chicken skin alone. The meat is rather bland. Partnering it up with ala carte lumpiang ubod did not help. The single order of sago drink which came with the deal had sago pearls as hard as marbles. The service tho was very good- cordial and fast. Too bad the food could not keep up
