We've always just passed by/dropped off this branch knowing that this is a way to go to and from work. Finally got the chance to try it out this week. It looked like a newly renovated place and the interior looks very cozy except for cockroaches crawling below the tables near the aircon where we were seated at.The servers were accommodating enough to refill our glasses of water when it has ran out of water and serve Sinigang soup as our order is ready. We dined in at around lunch time but they don't have sulit meals. The viand we got is Lechon Paksiw and it cost P255 without rice. Paid P40/cup for the rice. Definitely there are other places to eat at around the area than here..

This location in Baclaran used to be a small Lechon stall. Almost 55 years later, it is now an icon in the area. It also marked the first of many locations of Lydia’s all over Metro Manila. They now have 25 stores, making them one of the premier Lechon brands in the country. Lydia’s is known as the home of the Philippines’ original Boneless Lechon stuffed with Seafood Paella. Just recently they just innovated anew to their customers, Lechon in a Box. Now anyone can have juicy Lechon with crispy balat in the most convenient way, it is chopped bite-sized and can be paired with Seafood Paella, Dirty Rice or Pancit Canton. Price starts at Php 2,250 only, good for 10-12 people. On this visit, I also got to try their classic versions of Dinuguan, Kare Kare, Caldereta and Lechon Paksiw. I liked the Paksiw the most for its sweet and peppery taste. The Pork Caldereta with black olives is a runner up, a spicy, savory tomato-based dish. After your meal, have some of their rich Leche Flan or if taking it easy from all the pork, chill with a refreshing cup of fruits. I am ready for my next potluck. For sure, my Lechon in a Box, without the need for a board and knife will be a hit.

It's my first time to try Lydia's Lechon in a real restaurant, not in food stalls/food courts. The ambiance was homey.Lydia's Lechon launched their Lechon-in-a-box. It comes in three variants:*Lechon-in-a-box with Seafood Paella (P2,250.00/box)*Lechon-in-a-box with Pancit (P1,750.00/box)*Lechon-in-a-box with Fiesta Rice (P2,250.00/box)I do recommend the Lechon-in-a-box with Fiesta Rice. Actually, the Fiesta Rice can be eaten even without any other viand because it was just filling and satisfying already, but who cannot resist Lydia's Lechon. Crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. I love it. Seafood lovers can definitely enjoy the Paella.Aside from lechon, I recommend the Dinuguan and Kaldereta.#LydiasLechon55Years#LakingLydiasLechon#EverydayLechonHappiness#lydiaslechon

Price is way too high. But I would say that the taste is pretty balance and not overpowering. I'm not a fan of lechon but I would say that they offer great tasting pig skin. Kare-kare is not bad. I love their sinigang na salmon. Also, despite the fact that there are heavy grilling activities in this branch, you wouldn't smell bad leaving the place after spending several minutes or hour dining here.

We ordered #lechon for delivery. It was raining so hard but still they were able to deliver it to our place ON TIME and with the expected juicyness of a perfectly cooked Lechon that #Lydias is known for.Party perfect!

Still the best tasting lechon paired with their sauce.. But other viands is a bit pricey for the serving size. Convinient and airconed na sya.

Maydagdag na pag bill out.
