    The only things we ever order here are kare-kare & the crispy binagoongan. This doesn't mean that their other dishes are no good (like their crispy pata and pancit). It's just that these two dishes are what we always look forward to during our visits.Especially that crispy binagoongan...

    Had pinakbet and lumpiang shanghai. Their pinakbet was ok (but I still think my mom cooks the best pinakbet). Their lumpiang shanghai was not that good. But I must say that they have big servings. I would have given them a higher rating if it weren't for their bad service. WORST SERVICE EVER!Their servers (with the exception of the youngest waitress) were so slow and RUDE.I can tolerate small servings, and bland flavors but not bad service.

    Lola Idang's is a food icon in Better Living tho I know they also have a branch in BF .I frequent this place not to dine there but for take away,for those "tamad magluto days" .My favorites are crispy binagoongan,the lumpia ubod (both fried and fresh) ,crispy pata and of course pancit malabon.The lumpia ubod is superb way better than the lumpias of some fast food joints ,they put real ubod and not sinkamas and the price of their version is a bit cheaper.The staff are courteous and prompt.overall this local joint in this part of Paranaque deserves a thumbs up.

    Nagpa reserve ako dito last month for my baby's reception after baptism. Actually my first choice is seige but my sister insisted na dito n lng since we already tasted some of their menu and was proven to be delicious so pumayag nako. On the day of the event dumaan ako s lola idangs to give our cake before heading to the church, the lady in charge assisted me to the event room naka set up n mga table pero dipa naka open ac so mainit sabi ko miss diba matutunaw ung cake? Sabi nya hndi po mam, so I thought ioopen n nila ac before kami dumating ng 1pm. Aba pagdating namen dun around 1:30pm naka off padin ac sa event room sobrang init buti hndi napanis mga nakaserve n food namen, ang kunat n ng crispy pata tapos wla pang sauce naka ilang follow up ako pati tissue ako p humingi?! Super hassle di ako nakakain mabuti kakaintindi kasi nakakahiya s mga bisita ko, mas malamig pa s labas kesa s room namen kasi antagal lumamig diko alam kung nakalimutan b nila buksan kasi busy sila or sinadya talaga dipa buksan ac kasi nagtitipid s kuryente! kwawa nman baby ko nabasa s pawis! Yung cake pagdating namen walang pagbabago di man lang nila inayos nasa box padin wala talaga sila pake basta ma serve lang cguro food nila!My 7k is so not worth their restaurant ok n sana ibang food pero sobrang bagsak pagdating sa crew service! Nakasimangot pag inuutusan in the first place dapat priority nila kami kasi bayad na sila! Wag kayo magpapa reserve dito for special occasions kasi mapapahiya lang kayo for sure! And take note na try ko nadin kumain dito on regular days wag nyo na itry pag nagmamadali kayo kasi mauubos pasensya nyo sa tagal ng serving. People of better living beware of this restaurant! masarap at affordable ung food pero opposite naman pagdating sa mga crew nila! 😡😒👎

    Pacencyahan po tayo kahit mag babagong taon na...abay, pag ka order ko ng kare kare , sinigang at crispy pata, eh hinde pala nila nai selyong maige ang mga inorder ko...pagkasakay ko ng mc at d pako nakakalayo eh nakaramdam ako ng mainit na tubig sa upuan ko (motorcycle) at na isip kong silipin ito...hayun tumapon pala ang sabaw at d naka selyong maigi ang plastic trays na pinaglalagyan...naisipan kong bumalik kaagad, at baka mapalitan nila ang tumapong sabaw, ganun na rin ang karekare...ang sagot sa akin ng waiter na bakla, eh hindeh na raw pwede...huh??? bakit di pwede? ! tumaas ang boses ko nuon at nag sabing palitan nila dapat ang natapong sabaw...lumabas ang lalaking galing sa kusina..at d na raw pwede..me kalakihan ang katawan at naka berdeng t shirt....huh??? hindeh pwede? tatlong dekada na akong umoorder dto at ngayun ko lng nadinig yan...napaso n nga ako sa mainit na sabaw ng sinigang , at ganyan ang isasagot nyo sa akin? gasino nlng ang lagyan ng sabaw muli at isang lamang natapon sa table na galing sa kare kare? ...cghe kako, bawasan nyo nlng ng 100 pesos ang binayad ko...at inabot naman ng isa ang 100...at sa king paglabas ay andun ang hinihinalang cook o chef , at nagsabing hindeh raw nila kasalanan...Oo sbi ko, pero customer ako...sana ay isinelyo nyong maigeh ang trays, me tape man lng sana ...pero tila bagang nakikipag talo pa, at lahat ng mga empleyado nila ay nasa labas ng resto, ...at cnbing babayaran raw nila iyon......anoh? huh? .hindeh ko n problema yun...ako ba ang me mali??? dapat pa bng makipagtalo ang cook sa akin? ang pangalan nya ay "Jimboy.".tutoo nga bang pangalan nya ito? kc nung tinanong ko ang apelyido nya ay d nya masabi.......hindeh ba me katagang ...The Customer is always right???  pag kauwi ko ay inihain ko na ang mga naorder kong ulam...at sa pag ka bukas ko eh walang sabaw ang sinigang...Ampftz!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!   hindeh ba nakaka-ines yun?  sinigang na walang sabaw....amptz!!   sana ay makarating ito sa may ari ng resto na 3 decada na ng pamilya nmin na binibilhan....at mapagsabihan ang mga empleyado, na matutong makipag usap ng tama sa Customer ....mag aral ng safety as in safe sa delivery procedures...at maging masayahin at d mkipag away sa customer...ampftz gandah ng New Year ko ah? dahil dto ang rate ko ay 2 sa employees...4 sa food at 0 zero! sa conduct!
