Don't eat outside of their restaurant. They wouldn't be able to accomodate you properly. The servers were too slow and they don't communicate with each other. When we ordered Kare-kare, they didn't serve it with bagoong. We keep raising our hands to notice us since all of the servers were inside of the resto. Our bagoong came after 15 minutes of waiting, we've finished all of the food except our kare-kare. Funny, right? Also, if there's an unavailable food on your menu please tell the customers first before giving them a table. We were actually excited to try out their crispy pata. Sadly, it wasn't available. We're not planning to go back in this branch. Never again!

Amazing caldereta! I didn't really know what to expect from this place at first but I was not disappointed. I just wish they had bigger portions.

Foods taste great, but too pricey for a 2 to 3 person-serving. We kept on adding more on our order kasi sobrang bitin pala kahit na ang dami na naming inorder nung una. And we actually requested for a suprise birthday song para sa 50th ng mother namin kaso.. hindi raw pala nila ginagawa yun. Hahaha! Points given are because masaya naman ang buong fam.

Our first time to try Kuya J, and had the worst first impression ever. They gave us their house water, but their glass was so dirty. Afterwards, they set up our plates and it was dirty as well. Lost my appetite.

My friends and I had a catching up lunch held in kuya J. We were actually bound to a buffet lunch but the reservation thing was forgotten so we decided to jump off somewhere fine but affordable! Kuya J was a perfect choice and also I have to highlight the Smoothies! It was awesome specially the Watermelon smoothie! I just didn't manage to capture the deli food bc we were starving to death already! Really! 💯🖒

SERVICE is HORRIBLE.  My wife & I waited for 1 hr & 10 min with 2 plates, 1 spoon and no water on the table. One Partial & another wrong order came and the rest of the food order did not come.  Was told our order was placed on another table.  We left the restaurant.  Very disappointed.

Always have been passing this place whenever we are in the area. Then yesterday my mom decided that she wanted to eat out and try this place. It was cozy, and crews are friendly and nice. Food was served right on time and on a correct sequence, from appetizer to deserts. Let us not forget about the food, crispy pata, their main attraction is really crispy and tender at the same time complimented with achara and a dip with a hint of spiciness. We ordered 2 fried rice platters ant it was so good that it can be eaten without any viand. The sinuglaw, their version of sinugba, is Ok. Other appetizers we had were baked scallops and camaron rebusado. Scallops is great, can be main dish also if you prefer, camaron should have been 2 sizes bigger but it was ok though. Prices are little bit upscaled for a common Juan Dela Cruz, but when you save up, it will be worth it. 1 thing that is on the downside was the comfort room. Too small, not maintain well, which means dirty and a bit smelly other than that the experience was fun and satisfying. Forgot to mention the deserts, which are good and nice to top off your meals

I think that their marketing strategy of using beautiful food photos on their billboards on the highway really works. My son had been bugging us to eat here because of the billboards. We ordered the Sizzling Sisig with Egg, Kare Kare, Kuya J's Bagnet, Kuya J's Fried Chicken, Kuya J's Roast Chicken. It's a good place to eat if you are in a big group as you can share the meals. We ordered the Tablea Coffee Flan and Cebuano Mangga Chesecake for dessert. @maniladiningdiary

I ate here with my dad, I just ordered a halo-halo which my sister mentioned that it was good and my dad had the lechón kawali which I may say is too little compared to the price which is a bit over priced for the food. It wasn’t exceptional and nothing too fancy and the halo halo was not as good as what other people say. Maybe it’s just me that does not enjoy how it was made. The ice “supposedly” is like a very sticky ice cream-ish which is kind of not good, it makes the halo halo looks good on the photo tho. I say do not judge a food by its appearance 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’ll put a star for the ambience and the service (went there after lunch so only few people are there).

Merienda time with my bff highschool classmate.... We ate halo halo because it is so hot hot outside... Summer na summer na.Her order was Kuya J halo halos sa Saba. her rating is 5.Mine was Kuya J ube halo halo... My rating is 5... I like my halo halo lots of grated ice, konti nga lang ang laman but yum yum....Wait staff service medyo matagal lang parang disoriented sila even though only few customers when we got there. My rating for them is 3.
