I came across Khaiji thru website.. I never knew this is a Chinese Resto not only that they are like more tham 30'year old chinese resto. We loved all that we ordered, all authentic chinese cooking All staffs are friendly and the price is cheaper compare to other chinese resto. We will definitely go back.

Last night we opted to take home some food from Khaiji Chinese Restaurant. Before the name change, they used to be known as 'South Dynasty' with a bigger and more opulent dining space in the commercial space beside KFC. They have since scaled down and but in no means lost their charm. They still have the original dining staff of yesteryears working for them which says so much about a well loved neighborhood restaurant. We frequently order the Crispy Noodles but last night we tried something different.Shrimps in Salted Egg. A generous amount of shrimps, breaded and deep fried then tossed in butter and flaked salted egg. The salted egg used is the real thing and not just the yolk and butter we are more familiar with. The combination was sinfully good but surprisingly not too salty.Crabmeat Foo Yong. Hardly tasted the crabmeat but this one was filled with lots of vegetables, the soy brown sauce paired well with the egg.Peking Style Fried Chicken. Soy marinated chicken deep fried served with kropek chips on the side. Deliciously moist meat and flavorful skin.Take out order was placed in resealable microwaveable containers. Estimate was 30 minutes but order was ready in 25 minutes. Parking space only good for one car. Prices are very reasonable but be informed there has been an increase of at least 30 pesos from the prices on the website menu.

I was online yesterday browsing restaurants in BF Homes that I haven’t been to yet when I discovered this place. Reviews were really good so I had to try it for myself (and of course with my mom).It is located at President’s Avenue beside Asia United Bank. It is just a small place with space for only one car to park, so since it was a Sunday, I opted to park at the bank. The interior is small but very clean and the air-conditioning was very good. It could seat around 30 - 40 guests at a time. I actually saw two familiar servers (ate Belen and Malou were their names) which made me guess that this used to be the old South Dynasty Chinese Restaurant which closed down around 2008 I think which they confirmed. This basically gave me a sort of assurance that my dining experience would be a good one. South Dynasty was my favorite Chinese go to place in the late 1990’s and 2000…Upon checking the menu I noticed that their prices were still reasonable. You could maybe satisfy two tummies at around Php500.00. But of course, I plus my mom equals four! LOL.Now for the food…For starters we ordered the Sipa which is crispy pork filled dumpling that is deep fried to perfection but still creamy and flavorful in the inside. I give it four stars since we all know that Wok-in makes the best Sipa.We also tried the crispy shrimp with salted egg. FAIL!!! The shrimp was coated with a mix of the yolk of a salted egg and flour. Flavor wise it was okay, but I did not understand what was crispy about it!We then ordered Hototay for our soup and vegetable craving. It was good. Their smallest serving could feed four people. It had the usual vegetables, pork dumplings, pork slices, fish balls and egg… The soup stock was very tasty but not MSG tasty if you get my drift. So people with hypertension you have nothing to worry about. For our main course we had the Peking Style Crispy Chicken 1/2, Fried Pork Spareribs with Salt & Pepper and some Salted Fish Fried Rice.Their Peking Style fried chicken was very tasty. I was crispy and moist in the inside. It was served with seasoned kropek which actually tasted really good too.The Fried Pork Spareribs with Salt & Pepper was good as expected. It was not over cooked and was not too salty. It was topped with toasted garlic and slivers of green chili which added to the flavor. The salted fish fried rice was good. It was way better than the oily North Park version.Overall the food was really good (just forget the shrimp with salted egg). Portions were very generous so we still had to carry out a doggie bag. Prices are not cheap but affordable. Place was very clean. Servers were very nice and polite.I would recommend this place to anybody who lives in BF Homes or from our neighboring cities. By the way, I almost forgot to mention, they deliver! =) Follow me on TUMBLR: http://pigoutoweee.tumblr.com/

Tried to eat here for the first time. Food was okay. I liked the pork and kuchay dumpling. :) I wanted the Fried Bean curd roll, but it was out of stock. The Pork and Century Egg Congee was good. The congee itself, I think I can give to my baby, ahehe! It doesn't seem to have a lot of seasoning..No parking area, but the bank adjacent to it was closed, so we parked there.

This restaurant is quite easy to miss because ofnteh small facade. They only have one parking slot but spaces on the nearby banks can be used after banking hours. So far, we've tried:Hot and sour and Spinach seafood soups. Medium order is huge, maybe good for 4 or 5 persons. Both were good but I liked the Spinach soup better.Fried pork spareribs with salt and pepper. The meat waa tender and juicy. It comes with a sauce but I prefer the traditional vinegar with this dish so it won't be too salty. Peking style crispy chicken. It comes with sweet and sour sauce that is perfect for this dish. The chicken is perfectly fried, not oily at all and very juicy.Sate beef with fried noodles. This dish actually does not come with fries noodles but the graciously switched to fried noodles when we requested. Again, the serving was huge.Serving portions are very generous, the space is simple but clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
