Good variety with the salad bar. They have four kinds of pork and you could very much define and differentiate one from the other. Like how iberico has more fat than sakura therefore it is more tender and more flavor. A bang for the buck.

DON'T GO HERE!Even after ordering a set meal they won't let you add extra meat or seafood ala carte... Made the manager Hya call the GM (Vanessa) and the GM said that's not their policy and if I wanted more meat/shrimps I have to ORDER ANOTHER SET!?!?Saboten is so much better in that regard of accomodating clients!

If you're on a budget and you're craving for Yabu or Saboten, I think this is one of the best alternatives. I had a late lunch with my family and we were just looking for a good place to eat that is not usual. We wanted to try this one before but we didn't really have the chance to, and here we are now. My sister and I got their Chicken with Cheese & Ohba Katsu, my other sister got their Chicken Katsu and my mom got their Crab Cream Croquette. I love what I ordered because the cheese sauce inside was creamy and they have big servings. I like that they have a bar in the middle wherein you could just get anything that you want. They have "budbod" or rice topping which tasted so good.

My parents recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. Instead of going all out with bells and whistles, they requested for a quiet dinner at our neighborhood mall, SM BF. Dad is on a strict dietary plan and requested for greens. We all decided to dine at Katsu Sora, at least he can indulge on some salad and the rest of the family can still enjoy on some lightweight buffet eats.We tried the follow:Mille Feuille Sakura - thin layered Sakura pork, soft, tender. Fried to perfection, it was not as oily as I expected it to be.Menchi Katsu Set - ground pork using a combination of all specialty meats of the restaurant.Iberico Katsu Set - premium pork cutlet. The meat was quite and the difference between the Sakura is prominent. It had a clean, softer taste. However, the 200pesos price difference for the meats may be discouraging for some diners to try. Purists perhaps wouldn't mind. But i am good with the cheaper cut of meat since the taste is subtle and doesn't lag far behind in quality.Pork Gyudon - Dad tried this because it is the only thing in the menu that wasn't fried. The thinly cut pork was divine, cooked in soy and with lots of onions. Make sure to mix the egg in!We thoroughly enjoyed the salad bar (eat all you can), they had potato salad, pumpkin salad, shredded cabbage, different types of lettuce, dressings and fruits. Each set also comes with soup, rice and hot tea. All refillable. Service was quick but can be improved. They failed to serve our hot tea initially, we had to request and follow up twice for it. Senior discounts honored.

Clean and quiet environment, friendly staff, yummy food. We all ordered their set meals of tonkatsu, katsudon etc., and we were all satisfied. Unli salad and dessert offered was fresh and delicious.. the refill was also fast. Will definitely go back again.

I’m not always fond of breaded pork/chicken katsu style meals but this restaurant is where I’d go if I wanted one. I love that they have unlimited salad bar that comes free when you order a main course. I always order their Curry Katsu. It’s really good and goes really well with the salads. This isn’t a place I’d crave for... but every time I decide to go here, I never regret it. Thumbs up!

The iberico katsu curry was pretty good! The soup however was too much on the salty side. Salad bar was okay. We were in a rush and a lot of the condiments were nearly gone so I didn’t get much variety on my salad toppings. Will be back to try out more of their menu.

Unli salad!!! This branch in SM BF has a salad bar that is complete with potato salad, egg salad, fruits, blanched brocolli (my personal favorite, boiled but crunchy), shredded cabbage, lettuce etc. They also have a set of dressing that you can choose in your salad, lemon dressing is my fave! This is included in their set meal with unli soup and unli rice! 😋

Loved the Chicken Katsu Curry we had both ordered, as well as their salad bar. 🍛🥗Ambiance was nice. Not quite sure why the staff seemed a bit too busy at the time when there were only a couple of tables occupied.Nevertheless, the food was great and I’d be willing to come back to try out their other dishes.

Food is okay. Salad bar option on meals is a good way to make the customers feel they are not waiting for anythingHowever the lady servers made the experience really bad... one is chewing gum while talking to customersThey keep on going on the backside of the resto. NO one is welcoming the guest even the manager seems to be hiding. There were several people complaining that no one is at the door..There where reservations. But since no ones at the door they pretended to be the next on the list.. i seldom write reviews but this outlets service is so bad i just have to write it..Note : the different kinds of pork almost no or sligbt difference only..Again lame server i think i read joy on the name tag
