Had lunch today at Lugawan Republic, me and my boyfriend both ordered the basic lugaw para tipid. It was good at first, until I felt something in my mouth which I thought was buto ng calamansi, but I looked and it was a SHELL OF A SNAIL. God knows where that snail went. Good thing the staff was considerate enough to refund my lugaw. Not coming back here again!

Great service and great food... Serves mainly Filipino dishes like Sinigang, Pinakbet, Adobo, Pancit canton, Fried Hito, etc. and these are all great taste. Highly recommended

Affordable. Great service and food. Perfect place to have lunch/dinner or to just hang out and have some beers. I always order the sizzling sisig. Classic staple on Aguirre. 👍

A good hangout place to get a few bottles of beer. The main reason I choose to meet up with friends here is because of the good food. My favorites are the sinigang na ulo sa miso, kilawin, grilled squid, and gambas.

Affordable. Straight up.Everyday meals. Family friendly. You can get a decent bowl of Kare-kare. Rice bowls are pedestrian. The classic Pilugaw has lost its touch. From soupy to a gooey consistency. Choose wisely.
