We go to this place when we want really good nachos. The ambience is your usual diner playing old songs. It’s in a neighborhood so you wouldn’t really expect much from the place, but Fat Frank’s is pretty much decent, even their toilets, considering it is in front of Paranaque Doctors Hospital where their target market probably are the patients, who are sick of hospital food, and their companions. Their steaks though are not US, Australian or the NZ kind. I think it came from Batangas because it is thinly sliced and a bit dry. But you get what you paid for. Their milkshakes are deliciously fattening. So stay away from that if you’re on a diet. Good thing with Fat Frank’s is that you can order from their next door overpriced Japanese restaurant because they have the same owner. So if I want a shake sashimi with my fat franks nachos, why not? It’s just one order away.

Fat Franks was better before, or you think its normal to pay 80 pesos for a sprite and 90 for a sanmig light in Don Bosco. The Ceasar salad 220 pesos was made of iceberg lettuce, if that was mentioned i wouldnt order, i buy that on the market for 60 pesos a kilo, there are warm croutons but also many crumbles meaning they just throw all over it,4 slices of carrot,  Parmesan Cheese was still on the way from Italy i guess, it was not presentable, it was with free dressing unlimited but i was in a silver milkcan we use in France to put coffeemilk infor 1 cup of coffee. Got a big plate of lettuce so i had to order 5 cans to cover this lettuce with this dressing. Im not like that missed chance to satisfy, the dressing came not with the salad i have to request it. Beef Salpicao leftovers i guess normally you slice this in stripes but i was cut like dogfood, 100 grams i get in a lot of oil. 220 to much. Than i had also the fat franks burger, Fries was homemade i had to ask salt, when i ask ketchup the waiter said mayonaise, so i get mayo and later ketchup. The meat of the burger was good little dry but good seasoned and ok. The topping 3 slices of dry 35 pesos a kilo pinoy tomato and cucumber, never saw that in my life make its dry and not enjoyable to eat.  Normally i give a second chance but the unfriendly waiter, i guess a cousin from the owner from the province who had no job, not even one nice word came out of his mouth only sorry and DRINKS.  I guess we like to hear, what would you like to dring. Result Fat Franks American food no more, it became a Filipino style copied American Diner, but who cares so many Pinoys werent in the US. Next time the other American Restaurant Mac Donald, they are friendly and consistent.

Used to love this place. When the food was good and the prices were more reasonable. I used to recommend this place to my friends but now I can't anymore. Wish they can bring back the quality food & service because i love the interior, music, and ambiance here
