I actually went here just to have a few drinks, and to experience their roof deck place and I'm right, it's very relaxing, you can even stargazing with your friends haha. I'm going back for more

If you guys are looking for a place to chill, this should be on the top of your list. Food is really great and delicious is an understatement.

Good place to chill and have a drink. Good food. Not that pricey.

From it being a secluded place, to the decors, to the food - this roof deck phenom is a must-go-to place in BF. The slow roasted pork is a perfect combination with the beer and cocktails that are served. Although the place lacks seating, it makes people appreciate the view more while downing an amaretto sour or mohito. It's worth the wait. The owner waits for 14 hours for his food to reach perfection, what's a few minutes :)

Nestled on a rooftop deck, Fat Butchik's seek little attention but manages to have built a loyal following by mere word of mouth and urban legend. Located in a relatively quieter part of BF, one feels instantly teleported to a relaxed and chill place away from the din and noise below.Don't expect too much when dining here, as the place is composed of a few monobloc tables and chairs, a tent, and an open bar and kitchen. Their menu is a bit limited, but watch out for the chef's limited edition specials scrawled on two chalkboards.Highs:1. Bowl O' Red: An excellent paté for the small toasts it comes with. A merry mix of ground beef, jalapeno, bellpeppers, tomatoes, and a dash of chili, it's the perfect upper for a day of drudgery. Pass me the bread please.2. Beef brisket: With all the effort of preparing this over 14 hours, the meat is near perfection. Tender and flavorful, each sinew is tantalizingly good, the fatty strands being the best parts. Served on a bed of soft mashed potatoes, it is best enjoyed with a cup of rice.3. Pork belly: the stuff of legends. Tender, thinly sliced pork marinated in light savory soy sauce, it touches the palate and tickles the tongue. The pork skin is lovingly separated and fried to a crisp, adding a dimension of crunchiness. Another perfect pairing with rice.4. Truffled Parmesan Fries: One of the best truffle fries in the south. A marriage of saltiness of the truffle, the tangy cheese, and the sweet sour taste of caramelized onions. Akin to poutine, its a slobby yet crunchy mix altogether. Perfect bar chow over good conversations.Lows:1. Grilled pig ears: Too salty and smokey, pales in comparison to The Grill's Peppa Face. Although the fatty parts and crunch cartilage are okay, but the saltiness is overwhelming, not even dampened by the vinegar.2. Barely A Cookie: Expected something like Tus' halfbaked, but this was half at par. The cookie dough was okay but too small and thin. The ice cream melted quickly also, rendering the dish too soupy.Fat Butchik's is probably the only rooftop resto in BF and therefore has its own charming uniqueness. The meat items are good and appropriately priced. Most of the items will go well with a bottle of beer or cocktails, so this is the place to go if you simply want to feel at home and just let it all hang out. While sipping on the roof and bantering the night away.

Place was nice. Very laid back. Because of the fact that it is at the 3rd floor roof deck, the place is breezy. It's a good place to go if you want to have a good conversation. As for the food there french fries and dessert are excellent.I was disappointed with there liempo. If there is any resto that would pride itself in there liempo, it should be at a min as good as baliwag or andoks. I would go back here. The experience is above average given the price quality of food and ambience.

The vibe of the place is really good for those who wants to chill and drink a few bottles. The place is also good for friends catching up. The food is also really good! Must Try: Smashed potatoes!!!

We went last night after reading about it in Spot.ph. No one greeted us as the only 3 staff are busy behind the counter. We had to come over to ask for menus and order. However, from the time we sat and for about 30 minutes, 3 groups have already left, the couple beside us are already shouting for their food, spoon and fork and drinks and all guests are just looking at the general direction of the counter to see what's going on with their order. It was a big mess. When our food finally came, we ordered BBQ pork, sausage platter and truffle fries, it wasn't bad but not enough to save them from the really bad service. Shout out to the owner, it has potential but you need to get your goose in a row and fix your service ASAP.

Got excited with this place because of what I saw and read here in the reviews. Was just here a while ago. Place was okay if you want to hang out with your friends or family. There was an acoustic band playing I'm just not sure if it's only on weekends or every night. If I would rate the place I would give it a 4 star out of 5. For the food, we only tried the Pork Belly and the Burger Sliders. Taste was good but the price wasn't match for the food. Would have been perfect if the serving weren't too little. Don't get fooled by the pictures.

The place is amazing. You won't have a lot of restaurants that is sited at the rooftop. Perfect chill place. Food is to die for (figuratively and literally). I wonder if they can have the pork belly melt from whatever utensil you use, but less grease (filled my tissue with it). I guess it's got to do with the kind of pork they use. Two thumbs up, still! 👌
