Came here for the empanada at around 2PM and was told they ran out. Got the longganisa meal instead. The longganisa was so-so taste-wise and was too dry. Quite disappointing.

A quick snack go to of ours when craving for vigan longganisa or ilocos bagnet. We also love the empanadas with longganisa, egg and cheese, not a classic because its served with cheese but its something delicious and a must try. They also sell uncooked longganisa and bagnet and other delicasies from ilocos and vigan.

It's sometimes hard to get authentic Ilocano empanada in the metro, and sometimes you just simply get a hankering for this crispy treats. This place is situated almost across from Paranaque Doctors Hospital, and they are serving not only empanadas but also rice meals with iloacano dishes like dinakdakan, bagnet and poqui poqui. The place itself is small but cozy, with wallpapers of famous northern tourist destinations. There is almost no wait staff in this place, you just order from the food counter and they will serve you your dish once cooked. Drinks are self service even though you pay for your sodas at the counter but you have to get them yourself from the nearby refrigerator. But first the emapanada, always cooked to order so when they served it, its really nicely crisp and hot from the frying pan. There are variants of the original recipe, from a vegetarian (no longanisa) variant to a double egg variant depending on how you like your filling. I also tried the Ilocos miki which is like their version of the famous Batchoy of the south. Very good to eat on a rainy day, very comforting and yummy, quite filling too. They also have a specialty here which is the bagnet pancit which I would love to try the next time I pass by this place. The empanada alone can make this place a must go place all the time. I just wish they can open a branch near my house.

Empanada joint with no empanada that smelled like a male dorm room. Ate here for lunch today.I ordered the bagnet meal for 125 and gave me three slices of pork. GF ordered longganisa meal for 115 and got 3 small sausages

I've been craving for bagnet for quite some time now and I remember that this place exists, 5 mins from where I live. So, I asked my brother out for dinner to satisfy my cravings.I remember the place when it first opened, it was an open space with no airconditioning. I've always went past it before and recognized they've redone the place. The area was quite spacious, it could probably cater for 15 people at a time. The interiors were also very homey, it had a lot of pictures showcasing the beauty of Ilocos. Now, for the food, we ordered the Bagnet meal for me, Crispy Bangus for my bro and a serving of their Pancit Bagnet. It actually took a while for the food came out. Considering I only saw two people manning the whole place, service was sloooooooow. So with atleast 25mns of waiting, I had high expectations with how the food is.The bagnet was disappointing. Thinly sliced pork pieces were not what I was expecting. They were also too salty for my taste. My brother didnt like his food as much either. He said he could get something better of the same dish at half the price. The pancit was too salty and peppery too. I only kept eating it bc of the hefty chicharon toppings its had.Very affordable to eat here, but it's not a place I'd brag about how good the food is. Plus the service is just not something to ignore. Not that they were bad, it was just slow. I could've eaten somewhere else that would make me feel more satisfied if it weren't for my bagnet cravings. But hey! I ain't stopping you from trying this place out.

When I crave for authentic Ilocos Norte empanada (because the Ilocos Sur version is different) Farina's is the go to joint. They also serve pancit bagnet, dinadakan, pinakbet ,igado and other northern dishes.Prices are affordable and food tastes authentic Ilocano.

Love the fact that for a non-pork eater, they’ve got vegetarian dishes. I very much like the empanadas and the noodle soup. The place though is a bit old and not really well kept or that clean. Would be nice to see a bit of improvement but we’re not too squeamish so we will def be back!

This is my siblings' favorite go-to place for night snacks. We started going to this place way back. The place looks a lot better now than before. I think this is proof that the restaurant is gaining popularity that it generates profit that allows them to renovate the place. Their empanadas are amazing! We always order the ultimate empanada, and it just makes us feel like winners. But yah, I know it's delicious but I prevent eating them now due to health concerns (I'm more health conscious than my siblings so we still come back, but I don't order anymore 😞) But still, for those who just want to try them or eat them ever once in awhile, then go for it!
