Ive been wanting to try this restau from sometime now, due to high ratings in website.Once we came in it was a different ambiance, cozy and homey. Decors were italian inspired, with italy posters, old italian photos and wines. We ordered the meat platter valued at P795 good for 2-3 persons, when we got then we were suprised atleast its worth the price, because some of the menu are a bit pricy and can be compared to other cheap ones in bf.The dish was very delicious, low salt which was good. We ended up taking out some of the leftovers due to the big serving. We were not able to try the famous cheesecakes because we were full, but either way a slice for P250-300 is not worth for me since im not really into cheesecakes. Will definitely be back to try more of their dishes

"Quantity is a quality of its own." I first read that line in a military history book, referring to Soviet Russia's propensity to use the weight of numbers of its nearly limitless manpower to overwhelm the technologically superior and better equipped armies of its enemies in the 20th century. Now what has that got to do with food and Don Limone? When we first dined at Don Limone over a month ago, my wife and I could not help but be enthralled by the perfect blend of spices that permeates their wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. She got hooked on the Lamb Chops Espetada - one of the few lamb dishes we've ever had that tastes great even without the mint jelly, while I conservatively went for the tender Lingua Limone as I had just undergone a root canal. We then added a Tutte Le Carni (all meat) and El Greco pizza combination - yes, they allow you to order half your pizza of one flavor and the other half of another! My wife punctuated the experience by ordering the Pomegranate Raspberry cheesecake, which she described as a unique mixture that avoided the feeling of "ilay" or "sawa" that you normally get with other sweet desserts. But what about the "quality vs quantity" thing? That came last Father's Day, when we invaded Don Limone with 12 hungry family members. My battle plan for that day however, was different. Instead of ordering a la carte, we chose to go for the special platters (unfortunately not included in the menu listed on website). We ordered the P795 Mixed Espetada (grilled meats, rice, potato, salad - good for 3), the P995 Lamb Piccata (lamb, beef, pasta, salad - good for 3), and the P1195 Seafood Platter (different seafood, rice, potato, salad - good for 4). The meal was reinforced by a Tutte Le Carni all-meat pizza and an additional order of Lamb Shanks Casablanca when the kids who never tasted lamb before and wouldn't even imagine themselves eating it, suddenly couldn't get enough once they tasted it. The quantity of the food was truly overwhelming, but coupled with the fact that only the freshest ingredients and exotic spices were used, the resulting synergy of quantity and quality proved too much to resist. As a coup d' grace, Don Limone even gave free cheesecake slices and shots of limoncello to all fathers present. Mission accomplished!

Went here for a friend's birthday dinner. I ordered their bestseller pasta Casalinga and I liked how the meatballs and tomato sauce was very tasty. The pasta was served a little cold though. Also ordered a half-and-half of their Margherita and Tutte Le Carni, which also tasted good as it was fresh out of the oven.Don Limone is known for their cheesecake but when the six of us ordered six different flavors, most from the group didn't enjoy what they had. The Mango Melange in particular tasted horrible, like it had been sitting in the fridge for too long. I personally enjoyed my ube cheesecake, but after trying everyone else's I agree that the taste is disappointingly subpar. Oh well, at least the servings were big though.Plus points for the ambiance. It's better to sit outside at night :)

Initially confused with the very Italian interior not seeming to match with the hummus on the menu. Finally figured out the theme to be Italian seaside. So much for my brain fart.Started with the Savory Sampler which was tasty. Sitting with the flat bread were romaine lettuce leaves which you can spread the hummus on as well. Nice touch. For the mains, we had the lamb with pasta potatoes and a big skewer of beef with pizza. Excellent in every way!Capped off with lemon cheesecake. They've built a reputation on these and rightly so. Airy, not too sweet so you can still savor the cheese then the lemon cuts through. House red is very good. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Definitely a good place for the family to enjoy! Try their platters for sharing, it's quite pricey, but big.

We like their cheesecakes but the service was just bad! The waitress was in a bad mood. Whenever we make requests it seems like she don't want to do it. And when we asked for the bill, it took soooo long even though there weren't many people dining.

A quaint restaurant in the middle of a forest of low end bars, Don Lemone was a refreshing oasis my friend and I frequent. It's where you can just sit with your glass of wine and have a conversation without trying to complete with the beats in the background like you normally would in bars.Obviously I haven't been there for lunch or an actual dinner. We would normally start around 8 pm with a carafe of wine and end up with about 3 or 4 by closing time. I have only tried a hand full of items in their menu, but i've not once been disappointed with everything that I've tried so far.I've had the trio sampler of their best selling tapas and among the 3 the best for me was "Hummus en Fuego" which was hummus with olives and feta cheese drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, simple yet satisfying.I've only had 4 of the 16 cheesecakes and if that's any indication I'm sure the other 12 is great too. Try their "Limoncello Cheesecake" the tang from the limoncello cuts perfectly through the creamy texture of the cake, very refreshing. But my favourite dish of all is their Risotto, "Frutti de Mare". Because it is cooked ala minute, they pride themselves in providing the freshest ingredients. It takes 45 minutes to make so you know it's not some half cooked risotto sitting in the fridge rehydrated. Every piece of fish was cooked to perfection. But if you're not a drunk bum like me and my friend, you should order it in advance. I thought it was worth the wait.

At lunchtime there's a nice, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The chef is a native Sicilian, and so prepares authentic dishes. The Tuna Pistach is great. . . will be back.

Food is amazing. The ambiance is relaxing! They just need to improve on their service because they are slow
