I think this resto just re-opened this month so we got intrigued and try out their new menu, the place is nice and comfy as per the owner they renovated the place and added new items in their menu..the food is very good serving is for one but better if you share so you can try the different flavors..they also exerted effort in plating so everything looks nice..we appreciate the effort to make our food look like it came from a fine dinning restaurant even if the actual price per dish is 100-200+ onlyFor the Appetizer we had the tocino wings, siracha wings and the sisig quesadilla..my fave was the siracha wings its not that spicy and its very flavorfulFor the main, their pasta with longganisa meat ball was good i like it when they use real tomatoes in their sauce...but my favorite was the Rib eye pares steak(For only P250 yasss! So affordable)...looks and tastes perfect! the steak cooked perfectly, pinkish on the inside (but no blood!) grilled on the outside and its so tender, the sidedish was also yum..the mashed potato was chunky and creamy and the gravy was so flavorful.. My friend tried their grilled pork steak he said it was memorable and he'll come back for it..i think he liked it so much i didnt even had the chance to taste lol..

There is nothing confusing with this place, take my word for it, for the people here knows what they are making and doing. You may find the confusion because of how the name of the place is read but in reality you have to read it in such flair that you will see the origination of it.Con*Fusion Diner (for writing purposes I will use an “*” between the two words) is technically a marriage of the Spanish word “con” meaning with and fusion which means combine. The place is actually a fusion of home food favorites of all the people involved in the place. Located along Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes Paranaque, this food place is smack between The Burgery and The Crazy Katsu. This is one food place that you will enjoy going to because of the food and the service that they give.Designed to show their love for films, two of the walls shows classic films heard and unheard of for some people in this generation. They also have a wall of memorabilia that tells stories of the people involved in the store. Not only do you have a visual treat on the walls, you will also have another sensory treat once the food is served to you. What once was just a plain white wash place is now definitely a cool place to dine and stay at with friends and family members. That night, me along with some bloggers, were treated to some food treats that are familiar but with a twist that makes it worthwhile. For starters, we were given a taste of the following entries: Onion Rings, Loaded Potato Chips, Crispy Calamari, Sriracha Wings, Tocino Wings and Sisig Quesadilla. The onion rings were light and crispy. A little greasy but the dip they provided help control the oil in the mouth though unfortunately not on your fingertips. It is actually good munchies as you wait for friends, which actually happened to me that night. The crispy calamari is quite good for it wasn’t rubbery in the inside while maintaining that crispiness on the outside. The batters used on both entries were good! When they say loaded, what they truly mean is “Enjoy eating!” Such is the thought I got when they served us their version of a nacho called loaded potato chips but instead of corn chips it is homemade potato chips instead. Topped with a cheese sauce and semi-melted grated cheese, pork and bacon bits and onions, this one is truly loaded! There are actually two ways to finish this bowl of loudness: (1) make sure you are watching a very riveting and attention getter film, (2) you are with three other friends enjoying a very good catch-up moment, and/or (3) you have beer with you.The sriracha wings and tocino wings are two chicken starters that you may like depending on your taste preference. The former has a spice kick to it while the later has sweetness to it. Both are cooked to perfection that you don’t have any fear of it being under cooked. What would catch your attention here are the flavor profile that both chicken entries present. The sriracha has that spice kick that is not overpowering but will tell you that it has an attitude of its own while the tocino entry has that sweetness that is present on the skin but not on the meat for the meat has flavor of its own. When you combine the two, meat and skin, you will have another flavor profile. For me, the dipping sauce is not necessary but required for some diners. The sisig quesadilla tops the starter list for me. It has that flavor layers that teases the palate for more but at the same time keeping it light yet filling at the same time. It is your typical sisig placed between two pita bread with cheese to give that creaminess and then topped with a mango salsa. The mango salsa gave it a refreshing taste as the onion gives a bite. No need for the dipping sauce! The dish can stand alone by itself and is one delightful way to start a meal here at Con*Fusion. For the mains, we were treated to the following: Sriracha Ribs, Fish and Chips and Baked Fish. When milkfish is coated with a good batter and then fried till golden brown, then paired off with crispy homemade potato chips, what you get is a delicious Fish and Chips. Such is the one that they offer here at this diner; a lightly seasoned flaky fish on the inside with a crispy coating on the outside then paired with thin slices of golden fried potato chips. Best with beer. The Sriracha Ribs and the Baked Fish totally caught my attention because of the flavor and texture profile that it offers to the diners. The ribs are spiced to a level that is acceptable and you can make it spicier by using the dipping sauce that comes with it. Served with vegetables, rice or mashed potato, this is one rib meal that will keep you at your seat. The meat is soft and tender that it slides off the bones and it is simply flavored right. The mashed potato is also smooth in texture that compliments well with the some meat. When I first had my first fork of the Baked Fish, my reaction was: “Oh my God!”, that the host was at a scare for fear that it was not done right. Contrary to his scare, the fish was a wonder! No wonder dory is missing up to now. That fish was still moist and sweet that the covering sauce simply gave it an additional push in terms of flavor profile. The preparation of this dish was so evident that I didn’t take notice of the rice that comes with it; it was the fish that totally caught my attention. Whoever is the marketer of this diner knows his fish very well! For desserts, we were treated to their own version of a Choco Lava and Mango Mousse. For choco lovers, you will definitely love their version of a lava cake. It is served to you hot, about a minute off the unconventional oven, topped with vanilla ice cream that will melt and blends into your cake. The cake is light, though not outright fluffy. The twist here is what is inside the cake. Instead of your typical melted dark chocolate ball, what they have is a piece of local chocolate melted that created a good color contrast to the darkness of the cake and the melting vanilla ice cream. What is that piece of local chocolate? It is curly tops! That cup of milky chocolate goodness that kids in the 80’s grew up with (ok, maybe some of the 90’s kids get to enjoy it too) is placed at the center of this cake before it gets baked. When you get to dig in, you see a lighter chocolate shade that quite melted and blends well with the rest of the dish component. That is their Choco Lava. The Mango Mousse is a perfect finisher for fruit lovers. It has the right sweetness level and the fruit flavor is present in their mouse, jam and crust as well. The way they layered it was just right that you just have to dig your spoon in to it. The mousse was smooth and the jam underneath is near to perfection! I love fruits and I love this dessert creation!Con*Fusion Diner is one place that you will enjoy coming to not only because of the food but also because of the people. The service is good and all the personnel were quite attentive to your needs. They were even conversant to me as I was waiting for people to come in that night. They know how to make you at home even if you at not at your own place. That is service.Whenever you are at BF Homes in Paranaque, don’t fail to visit Con*Fusion Diner and have a delectable food experience that you might for more.

I have been invited to do a food review for a restaurant up South, which is the Confusion Diner. It's a good thing though that I went there on a Sunday since traffic is somewhat manageable. To get to Confusion Diner, one has to access Aguirre Street since the restaurant's situated inside a private village. The diner is actually sandwiched between a couple of other restaurants. Confusion Diner serves American dishes with a Filipino twist. Once you get inside the place, you get to see movie posters decorating it's walls.I have noticed though that some food items in their menu seemed to be out of place. They have quesadilla, pasta, and a single sandwich, which, in my opinion, doesn't really match with their restaurant's theme. I wonder if their inclusion is intentional since the name of their restaurant is "Confusion Diner." I'd say I have been totally confused with their menu. So, we were served seven dishes all in all. It only totaled to Php1,200, and I'd say that's a great deal for all that food, which I think, were all satisfactory. Also, I should note that they serve a decent portion of the food so that was a great deal indeed.Anyway, I think there were a couple of hits and misses on their part. Let me share with you guys what I think are worth ordering from their menu. One of their must haves is their tocino wings. They were flavorful and not greasy.Another great food choice would be their sisig quesadilla. Quesadilla is basically from Mexico, and it's inclusion in Confusion Diner's menu is somewhat off, but nevertheless, this quesadilla doesn't disappoint. It's not overly cheesy, and the bold sisig taste lingers in your mouth. I think what it just needs is a bit more texture to it.Lastly, if you are to have your dessert, order their lava cake. This chocolate cake is so lusciously good and would blow your mind off when combined with ice cream.

Eating places down the stretch of Aguirre road in BF Homes mostly has good amount of comfort food throughout the day until late evening. One pretty casual is ConFusion Diner - a small, homey setting perfect for meetup, talks and food-loving audience that pride themselves, especially the Chef on making delicious food just like it's taken from our kitchen at home...ConFusion was brought by the merger of two words:Con - Spanish term for "with"Fusion - the process or result of joining two or more things together to for a single entity. "Fusion of our ideas!" shared by Jordan, one of the Owners. The diner is a fusion of flavors and recipes that brings memory to each of the people who runs the restaurant. The brand, ConFusion is their way of saying that the restaurant is made "with" their fondest memories in mind and piece of their beings. Best places aren't necessarily the easiest to find and sample authentic Asian cuisine with a twist; I don't personally think there's anything on the Menu that will disappoint, check out delicious range of inexpensive favorite recipes and meals without skimping on taste (mostly Starters), worth putting on your list when you get the chance:LOADED POTATO CHIPS P150Homemade goodness, served with mouthwatering Chili Longganisa and cheese sauceCrispy real potato chips replaced the regular tortilla chips with fresh-chunk style salsa (diced tomatoes, onions and riped mango) and the oozing cheese is thoroughly melted! I enjoyed it so much cause it wasn't too soaked up with oil. Eat right away, if you want it shatteringly crunchy! SISIG QUESADILLA P160A tale of two classic taste, crispy sisig folded in white tortilla served with cheese and ranch! This is so new for me (tortillas stuffed with cheese and sisig) 'cause I get Quesadilla everywhere and everytime. I am good even without the ranch dressing, perfect for sharing!CRISPY CALAMARI, served with garlic aioli P180You'll also love their Asian-style Squid Rings! Just like the secret to delicious shrimp tempura isn't the shrimp or prawns but the batter. I swear, it's one the best Calamari batters I've tried. Not greasy and stays on their huge slices of squid.  These will make you feel good about feeding your picky kids! TOCINO WINGS P160The marriage of two of the greatest food items! Chicken wings tossed and covered with Tocino flavored sauce serve with Ranch sauceOne of the bestsellers so I was eager to try them. Indisputably delicious, definitely a steal for P160/plate, believe me you would literally strip those skin off the bones with your fingers! Now if you want hella spicy... Get the SRIRACHA WINGS P160 I was skeptical at first, usually wings are just flaming hot yet bland but these crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside wings plus glazed and sticky sauce found hard to resist! Well marinated hence tasty even to its bones. SRIRACHA RIBS P350If you love spices and ribs then you will enjoy the flavors on your plate! Served with veggies and rice or mashed potatoes. They uses country-style ribs, so tender and fall-off-the-bone baby back pork ribs, rubbed with spices and tangy barbeque sauce... YUMMY!BAKED FISH P200Baked, cheesy cream dory fish fillet topped with garlic and mixed herbs. Guaranteed light and healthy!FISH AND CHIPS (P185) has become part of our local cuisine and available nearly everywhere. ConFusion uses Pinoy's favorite smoked milkfish. A must-try, melt-in-the-mouth quality!Last but not least is their RIBEYE PARES P250This is ConFusion take on a classic pinoy fare but with all upgrades and flavor...I am personally a Rib eye freak but still partial to Sriracha Ribs amongst Mains. Thinly sliced but meat is full, tender and crusty. Cooked somewhere in between medium-rare to well done. And for our sweet finish... Choco Lava P120This is the most delicious (so far) Chocolate Molten Lava Cake I have ever tasted! Simple yet the warm, gooey center is so good... Think I can have two next time, all mine? Mango Mousse P120Good but not great or the Choco Lava got my heart...Before I forget, their house blend Iced Tea is good as well; You won't think how much sugar in your iced tea, you'll pour it yourself. Fair enough, I can take with no syrup!True, there's no shortage of great places to eat on a budget! Next time, will try the Rice Toppings, Pastas and Sandwiches. I know we always want a nice parking spot but likely a challenge mostly when exiting the car, during weekends. Come on down for a trip, I highly recommend ConFusion Diner - amazing service, inexpensive quality food, cozy atmosphere. If the weather is right, try a little outdoor seating and enjoy your meals... ConFusion Diner is at 231 Aguirre Ave., BF Homes, Paranaque, nestled in between Krazy Katsu and The Burgery. Their Menu items are not in shape or form similar to both mentioned restaurants! MORE PHOTOS on oureatdates dot com!

A trip down south for an errand meant grabbing the opportunity to try a restaurant unique to the area. After driving along President's Avenue and Aguirre, we decided on Confusion Diner mainly because there was an available parking slot and the place sounded interesting anyways. It was lunch time on a Sunday and we were the only diners when we arrived. They opened the lights and the TV's while we were settling in. Movie posters were plastered on the walls. For starters, we had the Loaded Potato Chips which were so addicting. They were thinly sliced and very crunchy. I think they may have been baked instead of fried. The plate was generously topped with longganisa, mango salsa and cheese sauce. Their menu was right in saying that nachos just got some competition.Another favorite from this meal was the Sisig Quesadilla which tasted so good. The mango salsa and cheese complemented the sisig. One of the best sisig twists I've ever tasted. After the appetizers, everything was kinda blah and forgettable. We had the Grilled Pork Steaks, Chicken Barbeque, Ribeye Pares and Beefy Mushroom. The mashed potatoes were good, the vegetables tasted like those grocery bought frozen veggies. There were some things we didn't appreciate and we informed the server about it. The Ribeye Pares was served almost 30 minutes from the time the first appetizer landed on our table. We were still waiting for some of our main dishes and yet the food from the table that arrived after us kept on coming out. Some of the plates were dirty or wet underneath. They were apologetic about the lapses. The Sisig Quesadilla and the Loaded Potato Chips are the only items I would order again. I doubt though that we would be back any time soon.*Cash basis only**Acoustics aren't great. You might be bothered by the chatter of nearby diners.

Yummy food at very affordable prices! We ordered 2 side dishes & 2 mains and only paid less than P500.Our 1st side dish was the sisig quesadillas which had the same spiciness and texture you expect from sisig. It also paired well with the mayo dip served with it.2nd side dish was the tocino chicken wings and it really did taste like tocino, not the artificial kind tho. It wasn't too saucy, which I liked. We wanted to try their sriracha wings but we read that it was "hella spicy". Maybe next time when we have the guts! For the mains, we had the chili longganisa rice which was good for a P99 meal, & their Tex-Mex grilled chicken, my favorite out of the 4. The chicken was marinated very nicely, it was juicy, not dry at all & the tomato dip complimented the chicken very well.

This one is actually new on our (my friends) radar, not the first choice when you go out and dine somewhere in BF Homes. Considering that they still accommodated us a couple of minute just before their closing  time was really a service that we will never forget from them. Most restaurants declined service to us but Confusion Diner became our saving grace from resorting  to 24 hrs fast food resto that time. This restaurant caters movie buffs because of the movie-themed interior from wall display of The Godfather, Casablanca, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Quite geeky and surprising for a restaurant. I hope this place has a movie night where they feature a certain show or movie, this will be a fun and entertaining way dining experience for the customers.Talking about the food, it has a great value for price and servings. Not too expensive but never short on flavors. We love their firm and palatable pasta, both Chicken Alfredo and Pesto, and the savory and meaty loaded potato chips. Their milkshakes can easily get a thumbs up as well in terms of taste, but it quite messy when served.I highly recommend this one not only because of their food or ambience but because of their very accommodating staff that really, I mean they really did, cater to your needs with initiative. Anyway, something personal, thank you so much Confusion Diner for letting us welcome the day (Yes, 12 midnight and an hour past their closing time) and celebrate my friend's birthday at your resto, we will never forget that.

This restaurant seems to be a fine dining restaurant yet they have very reasonable price! Ambiance is homy where you can see movie posters and it is like a room of a guy who is fun and somehow geeky! I love the Choco Lava Cake! Best lava cake along Aguirre Avenue! For only 120Pesos! Flat tops as the lava? Why NOT!! I had Grilled Pork Steak which the crew ask me if I want it to be served with rice or mashed potato. Best place to chill, Have a good conversation and this is between Burgery and Crazy Katsu. This has a lot of potential! Oh and btw, the owner seems to be that tall guy who is actually cute and looks dapper! Will recommend to friends, definitely!

Confusion Diner offers a wide variety of food and desserts that keep my friends and I company during hard pour of rain along the area. The ambience provides a trip to memory lane with memorabilias from old Filipino movies. The food was a show stopper, we started off with tacos that clearly sets the mood of the main dishes that we ordered. We opted to buy dessert and I was satisfied with the presentation and taste.
