Iba ang sariling atin. We should advocate local goods. They serve good coffee. Especially the sibet coffee which is quite expensive but worth it. Desserts are okay. Go and visit this very Filipino coffee shop :)

A coffee place which serves palm civet beans in Aguirre. Situated across Starbucks so it gives you a chance to try it out or step away and go to the norm. The place is good looking and well maintained. They are promoting local products and even have books, games and etc of the country. If you look at the menu, the list is somewhat few to choose from. Had tried sunflower frappepino.. A Frappucino with sunflower seeds and chocolate. It also contains barako coffee which gives a strong flavor with a good taste.

A very Filipino & unassuming coffee house. I never thought I'll find that in barako haus. We're looking for a breakfast place at that time and I'm glad we found a good one in bf homes. Their banig flooring like a spacious windowsill served as another dining area where you could cross your legs and play sungka while waiting was really indeed a breathe of fresh air. It's been a while since I played this game and we had fun putting aside our phones for awhile. I also observed that their area is very conducive for intimate gathering or if you just want to bring your book to read or check out their books (yes, they have!) and enjoy soothing aroma of their homemade barako coffee. We also love their tapa and longganisa breakfast very morning feel. They could work on the cakes though but in general it's a good place to hang out in bf. Instead of crawling through crowded overrated cafes why not try out of the ordinary? To more real good coffee plus food barako haus! :)

We are a coffee lover so when our friend referred Barako House and tried their Barako Coffee and pastries It was a good decision. We are satisfied with the service that their staff gave us. They always smile at us and the design of the coffee shop gave us an aura of a homy ambiance. My girlfriend ordered Puto bumbong because its her favorite filipino pastry and when I tried it taste good.

Indeed, a quiet place to study. They don't serve decaf coffee. Tinapa Pasta was good. Free and fast wi-fi is a plus. Although a pinoy coffee shop with a dead cockroach and a mice scurrying on the floor is not something that will make me go back to this place. Either they store their supplies properly or call the exterminator.

Was here on a weekday morning to get started on a much needed work day. Asked for their specialty, I was instantly suggested to have the civet coffee though at plus P200 an order, I went for their sandwich and Barako brew coffee instead at less than couple of hundred bucks. I thought it was really worth it, the coffee had the usual strong barako "kick" served with a side of brown sugar and milk. The sandwich looked like a panini with malunggay bits filled with melted kesong puti (goat's milk cheese) which was warm when served. The chips on the side though tasted awful.Still water on a glass was also served. Presentation was nice, service was efficient but not proactive. Touches of local handicrafts fill the store, with grouped seating and elevated seating on woven mats are good for groups. Limited Parking on-site.

If you are looking for some place that is very quiet and conducive for thinking, this is the place to be.The aroma of warmed coffee beans greets you at the door while the clean and polished furniture welcomes you in for a seat. The Organic Kesong Puti Sandwich was good but would have been better with more of their yummy cheese. It would have been great if customers had the option to choose wheat bread for this sandwich. The flavor of the Tawilis Flakes Pasta was out of this world.I highly recommend this place for people who need to study or work in peace.

Will go back for my usual iced barako latte. Friendly waitress finally memorized my usual order. Great place while waiting for someone or for a meetup. Staff is sometimes engrossed in their video games and need to be awaked. Puto bongbong with unli coffee is another possibility. Ask the butter on the side to avoid a too buttery taste.
