Red velvet cupcakes and Chocolate Wasted and Sansrival Cakes are loved! Paired with their creamy coffee concoctions is genius! Also their homemade bread is the best!!!:))

"3 days after and I still can't get past the hangover. 3 days after and still no therapy can cure the addiction. But it doesn't really matter, you wouldn't even want to be cured anyway after having tried their Choco Wasted. Yes, I got completely wasted and it was a good feeling and yes I want to get Choco Wasted again."-Confessions of a Chocoholic

This little gem is located just after you enter Saudi Arabia street in Better Living, Paranaque. I'm quite lucky coz I live near this place. The food choices are few per category but are really good. My son, who is such a picky eater, absolutely loves their cupcakes (red velvet for the win)! Their cakes are moist and delicious, their sandwiches are so appetizing and good for 2 (if you're the kind that doesn't eat too much), their pastas are tasty and generous in toppings/ingredients, their milkshakes' sweetness don't make you cringe, and their coffee tastes good :) Parking space will make you cry though :p

I love it here! Whenever we are in the South we make it a point to come over. I wish there was a branch in Antipolo! The dessert cupcakes are awesome and delicious.

Came here for a quick chocolate fix. Choco wasted cupcake is priced reasonably at P55! The place is just a stone throw away from where I live. I brought my 2yo daughter here once and she enjoyed their cheesecake too! Ordered ceasar salad but was to plain. Iceberg lettuce and croutons and some generic dressing...thats it. I had to ask for more cheese to awaken the taste a bit. Nice place to stay for some out of the office stuff that needs to be done. Btw, one parking space only good for an SUV. ?

Love the ambience, quietness and nearness if this place. Next best choice when you can't park in Starbucks along Dona Soledad. I love their cafe mocha and ensaymada.

The place is small, but enough for the target people around the area. Not really a to-go area though. The coffee is good, i liked it. It is also well-priced. A had a good cup of coffee and enjoyed my stay. :)

(Review for Sept 26)I've always wanted to try Bake & Brew but since its location is pretty far from where I live compared to the other coffee shops around Betterliving, I was only able to try it recently.I was craving for a quiet afternoon spent over coffee and pastries so my boyfriend suggested that we finally try Bake & Brew.PLACE: The place is very cozy and intimate with bright interiors. Each table has a socket nearby so it's a convenient workplace/study place. They also have free wifi.FOOD: I ordered their Iced Cafe Mocha and Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing while he ordered the Cookies & Cream Royale and the Ham and Cheese Panini. The mocha was good and stronger than I expected. I had this around 5pm and I couldn't sleep till around 2am. It's surprising considering I don't usually get affected by caffeine (and I really love drinking coffee). Nevertheless, I liked it and it's definitely cheaper than the mochas in the other coffee shops around Betterliving. Jeremy's milkshake was also delicious. It really tasted like oreos turned into a drink. It's one of the better milkshakes around the Betterliving area too. The chocolate cake was also good though I would've liked it better if it were a tad bit moister. I liked the fudge icing though. Jeremy's panini was a good deal at only P100. The filling was generous & they used good quality ham.SERVICE: The servers were friendly and our orders arrived quickly. They also gave us cold water right after we sat down.Bake & Brew is a good alternative to the other coffee shops around Betterliving. It's ideal for when you want to work or study without the usual noise you encounter in Betterliving's branches of Starbucks or Bo's Coffee. I really like the ambiance and I'll be back soon. Tip: There aren't that much parking spots so be prepared!

I think I found cake paradise. ❤️ I'm not really a huge fan of sweets but, I love cake and I'll always have room for cake no matter how full I'am. Well, thank you horrible traffic the road closures have caused in Better Living bc I found myself here. This little cafe is not located along the long strip of Dona Soledad Ave so it may be a bit hard to find. The place isn't that spacious as well, probs could seat around 8-10 people at a time and they have one table outside if you wanna smoke. It gives off a very cozy ambiance, perfect if you just wanna have coffee without the noise that comes with other more popular cafes.I got to try the Java Mocha Frappe and for cake, I got the Carrot Cake and my friend settled for the Oreo Cheesecake. The Frappe was okay, the coffee taste wasn't that strong but it was okay nonetheless. But the cake. UGH. Probably the best carrot cake I've ever had. The cake itself was very moist and the frosting was ugh-mazing. It was sweet but it complimented how the cake was, it was just really good! The Oreo Cheesecake was good, also not that sweet. But the carrot cake just did it for me.Cake slices here cost around 85-120 pesos per slice. Pretty cheap but, very good quality. They also have cupcakes and pastas if you don't feel like having a slice. As for me, I can't wait to have another slice of their Carrot Cake any time soon!!
