Open to the general public 6-10pm (6-10am) The Samsara Eating place overlooking the ocean inside the Leyte Oriental Resort near Tacloban is really a spectacular fine eating buffet cafe, 15 min west of Robinson Mall close to the Red Seaside famous MacArthur Recreation area. The costly breakfast buffet isvery great while the affordable diner buffet is actually spectacular, like the free range show enjoyment. The 730pm show is preferable to what we notice in Boracay every year. The four component show (tue-sunlight) starts with live songs, than "Boracay Kind Chef's Dancing", a ballet/folk dancing, super fantastic fire dancing and closing w/pictuses of the cartoon mascots. Much more important may be the wonderful delicious food display much like a cruise liner buffet. The meals display is bigger than the seating region. The p800 buffet is equivalent to the older Robinson Mall buffet & cheaper than SM Cebu or Boracay Regent, as the food is way better. The buffet contains 8 different classes and much more than 10 various entrees. There are snack foods, appetizers, salads, soups, live life Ramen station, carving station, MongolIan Barbecue station, fried-steamed-grilled seafood, shrimp, crab, squid, clam, pork, poultry, desserts galore plus much more. This is the greatest buffet I have already been to in the Philippines. The restaurant, lobby, pool-ocean areas have become very large and available to the public, with several chairs, swings & cushions to relax on. The area is quite romantic while nevertheless being family pleasant. Bring your digital camera for fantastic picture-picture pictures :):) Samara has free car parking and you can find taxis on Robinson Mall, however, it really is far from public transportation. Multicab cease @Nat'l Hwy & Barack Rd (by BIR) a KM away. It is a destination eating place that you'll remember forever, so it's worth a supplementary effort to obtain there!

Delicious food as of this buffet. Overlooks the swimming pool. Very nice entertainment. Located close to MacArthur memorial in Leyte Oriental Resort. Available to non hotel visitors. Plenty of room to stroll around sit down and relax.

The food isn't worth the purchase price. I'd choose the bar outside which acts good food plus three times cheaper.
