I had the nice fortune to remain at Sogod Bay Scuba holiday resort for 4 nights. My dive expert Pedro Batestil was excellent. Not merely was he exceptional as a scuba help he is a fantastic photographer. The employees was great. Ocean see room. Food verytasty.

The restaurant is area of the SBSR but also available to non residents. There is a thorough menu of both international and local dishes supplemented by way of a daily specials blackboard. The meals is all perfectly ready and the portions certainly are a really great sizeso you will not be going hungry here

You know the meals is good when among dives, you're equally excited for lunch when you are the chance of seeing whale sharks. Menu: The menu includes a great mixture of traditional filipino, western, and international cuisine. Regular specials furthermore kept the menus excitingso people that stayed here for much longer periods never felt just like the food was repetitive. Service and Food: The staff services is phenomenal and the meals always comes rapidly. And my goodness could it be good! Along with being provided generous portions, even for starving divers, the meals was so excellent that I looked forwards to it almost as much because the diving. Monty's place a lot of believed in the menus and continually cares that things come out excellent, which incidentally, it usually does. For all those wondering, each food usually set me back about 3-5 USD. Even though we reserve the amazing high quality of the meals, you can't defeat that value. Usually do not rest on the Dopey burger or the Pork medallions. It is the ultimate post dive dinner.

On the last nights our remain at the vacation resort we ordered the barbecue supper. Both pork and poultry served were undercooked. Another meals we'd include bland meals with small to no seasonings and little portions.

Good food however, many dishes just like the pasta lack seasoning. Menus is small but sufficient but after 11 times it got a little much. All the foods we got was prepared well and the personnel are wonderful. Costs are fair also.

We stayed at the holiday resort for over weekly and became dependent on the food here. You can find daily specials that have been amazing and the menus was so different I could have invested my 7 days trying something fresh every food. I didn't, I ate thepork medallions normally when i could, was so tasty. I have severe allergy symptoms including peanuts rather than had to get worried at all because the kitchen employees had been accommodating and understood my allergy that i typically find to become a battle in Asia. The mango rum beverage has been heaven :) and the very best part had been my bill by the end of my remain, as a backpacking solo traveler I has been surprised how I possibly could eat so properly for so cheap on the week. I in no way ate anywhere else in your community as there was generally something I had been craving on the menus. Addititionally there is something exclusive about eating every dinner overlooking the sea, the restaurant is correct close to the water. The staff members on the dive boat would text your kitchen with lunch time orders so food will be ready following the morning dives. This is always a good touch. This was genuinely among the best food I had in the Phillipines. It is possible to tell that effort went into each dinner, and everything is affordable. The banana smoothies had been quite refreshing, and the menus offered exactly what I needed after heading diving.The service was great, and the exterior tables appear directly onto the seaside. Well situated, and general a great restaurant. I’d recommend the seafood prepared in banana leaf, as this is my personal favourite!

Well other people have reviewed the diving and the holiday resort generally so just about all I’ll say concerning the vacation resort is that the areas are good, the dive facilities are excellent, the reef is merely WAY over and above beautiful and the personnel are genuinely friendly, knowledgable andreally helpful! Which means this review has become the resort restaurant...this is my third holiday at the resort, during the last couple of years. I ate all my foods there for the 7 days I was keeping and each day I tried different things. The meals was consistently good - extremely tasty, served quite rapidly and they really take full advantage of nearby flavours and fresh regional products. It’s an assortment of local and global cuisine and the Asian flavours are actually genuine. The Aussie chef and two great Filipina chefs perform an incredible job with presentation - specifically the best ‘dopeyburger’ and their well-known banana or mango floats. I’d just complain that my abdomen wasn’t big sufficiently!! The restaurant is little but also has eating outside on the verandah, which includes the most spectacular sights (and sunsets!) over Sogod Bay. There exists a reasonable selection of beverages from the bar, and everything is quite well priced, specifically for that regular of food. Overall I’d completely recommend SBSR restaurant!!

Great service, the meals was served promptly, and all simultaneously. Nice to visit a professionally run eating place, I get so sick and tired of sloppy support at restuarants in the philippines, definately the very best restaurant in your community, some of the just vegetarian optionsaround plus they are all tasty, the cooks are perfect and the wait employees are attentive and tough working. Im thrilled to see exactly what will be for dinner! Thanks SBSR!
