We ate there two times and both occasions we were pretty happy with the meals. Tasty, nice presentation, great portions, correct cost. The Mexican chimichanga tasted tasty. My friend was pleased with the burrito. We had the hamburger that was good as well. The paninis could bebetter. The setting looks great however the tables and chairs aren't very comfortable for those who have longer legs. Service is wonderful!

There was previously a problem getting a thrilling meal in Subic, however now that El Filo is open, it's quick. The top chef Maurice originated from America to create this location from the bottom up, and contains done an incredible job,not only with the meals but with the complete set-up. Undoubtedly the swankiest karaoke boxes collection a hallway off the bar region upstairs, and a distinctive fusion of American, Mexican, and Filipino cuisine floods the eating place region downstairs and the outdoor outside. Everywhere else in the base pales compared. Eat here, chill right here, live here when you can swing it. El Filo's is the greatest.

New restaurant inside Subic and incredibly nicely appointed inside of. We were amazed on a Saturday night time to get the place mostly empty so environment was thin. Meals distinctly edible but nothing at all that made anybody excited. Steaks were alright but needed much better sauces. Nicethey was included with some veg. Fajitas had been offered non sizzling. I believe they’d been left some time instead of going kitchen to desk. Glowing blue marlin had a unusual sauce that your diner found unpalatable. Support was typical locally: pleasant staff but untrained therefore foods and beverages appeared unpredictability. We'd hoped for an excellent new local cafe but this isn’t it.

El Filos is really a large three degree restaurant and bar. Underneath floor may be the restaurant, the center may be the bar and the very best may be the pool hall. They function excellent burgers and beverages at an excellent price. Excellent support. Their back yard is perfectfor lunch time or evening cocktails. The pool table didn’t look like it had very much use and would have to be dusted off. Exterior during the night was good as was the meals presentation. went downhill quick from there. the menus were pieces of papers on a clipboard and the purchase of the papers didn't match up my wife's. These were Out of my 1st selection of beerand out of components to make my wife's first food choice. Her second option was met with exactly the same "unavailable." Her food was great: Adobe pork. Her dinuguan simply got the "sauce" thrown over it. I acquired the ribs. These were hard, dried out with very little meats on the bones and drenched in the BBQ sauce. Sides of mac pc & cheese and coleslaw had not been good at all! I'm sensitive to plain tap water. I requested if it had been filtered. Initial server said yes. WHEN I drank half of a glass, Spouse tasted it and stated it was plain tap water. 2nd server confirmed. Check period and they took quite a long time. Check was incorrect also it was corrected. Actually the clock on the walls said 1:30 also it was around 7pm. Wii experience and do not recommend.

No more Mexican food available mainly because you can find new owners. I'll say the obtainable Asian foods is tasty however the portions are not really excellent. I and my children arrived and left starving. Not much to check out outside but awesome meals. Tiny suprise gem.. Would definitely recommend the seafood and chips and Bagnet Pinakbet.
