Zong is a decent chinese restaurant that serves a mix of your chinese delicacies from all over china and versions of it abroad. I ordered the scallop siu mai a which despite just being 3 pieces was packed and rich with flavor. The deep fried prawn in salted egg batter was a delight, its crispy but has the coarse sweet and salty texture of salted egg which makes it such a treat. We ordered the 5 spice fried chicken which was your typical chinese fried chicken. Its a little pricey but the servings are generous enough to last you till your next full meal.

Food was good but the SERVICE WASREALLY BAD! We ate at Zong - Westgate Alabang last Sunday and what I didn't like about their service was that some of us were not done yet with our plates and then there's this waitress who started clearing our table. Like what the hell?! All she left was the plate my dad was using and our glasses.

Big servings! I love their YangChow fried rice... tastes authentic. Our favorites: fish with floss, salted egg chicken, green beans with pork! Always my family’s go to, when hungry. 💖

Our favorite Chinese resto!!!! We usually order butter chicken, the spinach veggie order, their yang chow and the Singaporean fish fillet. Their fish fillet is TO DIE FOR. The flavor hasn't changed since the first time we tasted it which is something I'm really happy about ❤

This has always been my family's go-to place for good Chinese food. For tonight, take out was the option as we wanted to dine in at home. We had their Singapore Style Fish Fillet (my fave!), Wonton Soup and Yang Chow Fried Rice. These three are always a good combo. The fish fillet possess this certain bite which is probably due to those chili bits placed in. And yep, that's the serving size of their Yang Chow Fried Rice. It's very filled too. The soup is just right on flavor that's good to warm rainy nights. What I like about the take-out option here is that they serve it in microwaveables. Ever since, they serve it that way when you opt to have their Chinese goods to-go. Take out or dine in, Zong is always a good choice!

I love Zong! Honestly speaking, Zong can be a bit on the pricey side but their offerings, for me, are worth it. The servings are good and the taste is really yum! Even as simple as their Ma Po Tofu is love 😍 I could eat that with Yang Chow and nothing else! Their Beef Curry hotpot is really good too! Just enough coconut milk taste blended well with a big of spiciness.I highly recommend Zong, may it be for dining with a group of friends or having a quiet time with your someone. Food is delicious and the interiors are simple. Definitely a go to place when craving for Chinese food.

I never really liked Zong from past dining experiences several years ago in their now-closed BGC branch (their original branch). Back then, they prided themselves with completely MSG-free food. The food was always tasteless as I recall. But I do not believe that Chinese food need to have MSG to taste great. Now in their new Alabang location, food was tastier (could it be they're now using MSG?) but still falls short of my expectations of what good Chinese food should be, especially for the prices they charge. We had a lot of orders but I only enjoyed their roasted appetizers and prawn salad. OK, their hakaw was acceptable. This place still stays near the bottom of my list for Chinese food, regardless of the price.
