honestly menchi katsu is one of the best-tasting katsus i've ever had my entire life. i think the price is just right for something as delicious as this meal. it also helps that there's side dishes that include cabbage, fruits and soup in order to neutralize the taste of the meat if it ever gets too much.

Never really a fan of katsu because i find katsu equivalent to chicken nuggets. Hehe so i tried yabu 3x — always not happy and satisfied. I find their food expensive for something that taste like mcdonalds chicken nuggets. I only like the unlimited salad. :(

Dined here with friends thoughI'm not really a fan of katsudon but tried it for experience.I ordered the Kurobuta set, the most expensive item on the menu, because I'm curious about the black pig since it is hailed as the kobe of the pork world. I'm not sure what the Kurobuta should taste like but it didn't taste anything special at all. For me its just an ordinary deep fried pork chop. The ground sesame dipping sauce is too strong and kinda salty. But I love the unlimited cabbage, rice, and the miso soup.The staff are ok, attentive enough to bring your refills but they totally forgot the fruit which is included on my set.I might come back though to try their other food items.
