The quality of the Pancake House food, service and cleanliness has definitely gone down throughout the years - getting only worse and worse.I'm afraid to eat their food because of how unclean I imagine the kitchen is like. The restaurant itself already feels congested even without people and the tables, floors and glassware never feel or look properly cleaned.Staff hospitality has never been great.

Pancake has continue to transform to more than just pancakes. To be honest I never really ordered what they are known for in awhile. For one their menu is different again. Am very happy with their Steamed Fish in Mintsai Sauce Php 229. The steamed dory combined in garlic scallion ginger sauce was delicious. The serving is generous and the flavors abound. What makes Tacos the best in town which they claim is mostly on the flavor of the ground beef. It's good but too greasy for me though. Their special chicken is on promo now. Php 388 for two two piece. That you should visit if you haven't tried.

Located in the quiet side of Alabang, along Don Jesus Blvd., this stretch going to Alabang Hills do not get as much foot traffic since it mostly caters to the residents of the posh villages in the area ( Alabang 400, Hillsborough, Alabang Hills). I live in close proximity and we do have car stickers for Alabang Hills and BF Homes which makes going to this area a breeze. There's nothing much to say but good, tried and tested food by Pancake House. If im not in the mood for grilled cheese sandwich, i always get the mix and match plates which has all my favorites in one order - the spaghetti, taco and chicken, and a glass of iced tea. This branch is quiet and has a good view of Don Jesus. Sometimes, i get lost just watching the cars go by. Nice way to unwind. Recommended.

For the holiday, we headed to Pancake house fo brunch. We ordered our favorites listed below: Golden Brown WaffleThis is out usual go-to in Pancake house.The buttercream is just always so fluffy and creamy, it has been consistent over the years. The taste was still the same for the waffle and butter combo but would have liked the waffle to be more welldone and crispy. Beef Tapa This was very good paired with the green mango salad on the side. Good hints of citrus and meaty flavors. Spicy Chicken Pilaf with Brown Rice and Aoili The chicken was spicy and seasoned well. The canter of the chicken was juicy and not dry. This was a good dish. Will be back again soon. Ok so everyone loves pancakes but pancake house......lets think about this.I rated this 3 stars because of the ambiance and service.One,The waiter could be nicer.Two,the ambiance is getting old.But the food reminds me of home so I like it.My overall rating is 3stars AND THATS A BIG DEAL!!!!#GordonRamsay Style
