Market Basket was our first stop for the website Food Crawl with GIST.PH!Market Basket served "Market Basket Seafood Hotpot" It was an awesome dish! Everyone in the room loved it. The Hotpot had everything from Fish Dory Fillet, to Squid, to Shrimps, to Oysters... the combination of all the flavors of the seafood, plus the sauce made it MAGICAL. Will definitely visit River Park for Market Basket again.

This was the last stop of our website Food Crawl in Riverpark, and gladly, as there was no more room in our tummies, all we had was dessert. And what a dessert it was.We had the Louis XV, The Dessert. While the French monarch did damage the power of France, weaken France's treasury, discredited the absolute monarchy, and make 18th-century France more vulnerable to distrust and destruction, The Dessert did nothing of the sort. What it did do was punctuate our visit to the South quite nicely, as the creamy chocolate dessert crowned with a macaron and a festive candy cane complemented all the stuff we put in our faces that day. The dessert was crafted especially by their chef; she had a lot of fun explaining the dish to us, and it seems that she loves what she's doing and puts a lot of heart at what she does, which really comes out of the dessert.Another place to be bookmarked in Rivercity, as this dessert is but a tiny fraction of what they offer. Bonus is the BnB chic they did with their interiors and the inspirational quotes in every surface of the second floor. Very, very cool. With Janix Lo, Elaine Taningco, Noel Peñafuerte, Gabbi Carballo, Gito Villegas

Dessert time! Together with some website people, we were able to try the Louis XV, a cushiony chocolate mousse covered with dark chocolate ganache and topped with a french macaron. This dessert retails for Php 250 per serving. You have to agree when I say that this dessert is truly the perfect sweet to top off a grand gastronomic experience. I paired it with a Twinnings berry tea and the result is divine! 💖Since Market Basket lives up to its tagline "Modern Paluto", I came back to try out their seafood offering. They have an interesting menu set and very accommodating staff. We end up trying out their Assorted Seafood Platter which consists of Grilled Prawns, Squid, Mussels and Assorted Fishes for Php 1530. According to the waiter, this'll be good for up to 4 persons. The order comes with steamed rice and a salad. As soon as we gave our order, the pitcher of iced tea and salad was delivered to us shortly. The lettuce is crunchy and the dressing is inviting that my sisters and I didn't realize we've swept the whole salad in a snap. For 20 minutes or so, we waited for the main course for quite some time. We felt hungry and bitin that's why we count the minutes till the platter finally came. Good thing that the interiors were so insta-worthy we were kept busy with taking photos of the interior. The Assorted Seafood Platter didn't fail us at all! The waiting time is truly worth it because of the well-cooked grilled fresh seafood and the refillable tasty tomato & onion mix. The tanigue could stand on its own because of how savory it is. The clams and mussels are also tasty. Walang tapon talaga! Just the shells. Haha. We end up ordering 3 more cups of rice and 3 refills of the tomato & onion mix because we truly enjoyed the platter that we got. I'm truly coming back with my family soon for more yummy seafood treats. 😍
