Waited at the restaurant for about 1 hour and counting, by the time I finish writing this review, I still doubt our food would have arrived. How long was the wait? I downloaded this app just to review this restaurant. Please avoid this poor service.

Probably the best-decorated Mann Hann I've seen so far. But that's just it. One of my favorite dishes from this chain is their spicy spareribs but for some reason, the version served here was different from the others. This was a bit breaded, unlike the others. I surely did not enjoy my meal. I'll give them another chance in the near future.

They say life changes when you have kids, I guess it also applies to single people with nieces and nephews in mind. Case in point, last week, the family as always are looking for 3 things in a restaurant when dining out with kids - LOCATION (it must be near our home when the kids are visiting, or should be within the area of a mall that is safe and not too crowded), AFFORDABILITY (you can't expect us to take them to Circles just for casual Saturday brunches unless it's a special occasion, the old familiar favorites are our top choices, but we are willing to try someplace new as long as it qualifies in our 3 rules) and SOUP (Soup? Yes, soup! the kids love soup and any variation will do). Mann Hann is one such old haunts. I'm not quite sure though if they are still the same Mann Hann of the late 90's. I remember their branch in Alabang Town Center and their fragrant Yang Chow Fried rice, Salt and Pepper Squid with a side of Garlic Polonchay leaves. They have long closed but the lovely Saturday family dinner memories are still there.Rekindling on our love for Mann Hann we decided to try out their Madison Galeries branch, Don Jesus Avenue right in front Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. They are located at the second level. I like their very spacious dining area. They have this intricate wooden ceiling covering the entire restaurant. It was very clean and had great ventilation. Not a hint of smoke or fried smell. We ordered the usual Pancit Canton with Seafood and Yang Chow Fried Rice. And tried their new offerings Lechon Macau with Tofu, Brocolli Flowers with wolfberries, Beef Stew with potatoes and carrots. Service water and house tea was served immediately after ordering. In no time, our order was served pipping hot.The beef stew was good, the beef was fork tender and the addition of fried potatoes and carrots lend a homey touch. The Yang Chow was not the same as I remembered but was still good. It was filled with minced meat, scrambled egg and carrots and other vegetables. The Lechon Macau was a bit salty and very oily. The Tofu absorbed some of the oil but avoid it you are very particular with too much salt. The Pancit Canton was good enough for at least five light eaters. It came with fish, squid and a slew full of vegetables. It was on the saucy side which was really great considering we did not order soup for the night. The kids had fun eating their noodles, a bit messy but those are the fun memories we try to build on. I like the Brocolli Flowers the most since it was cooked in garlic and still had that nice crunch. The brocolli was not soggy and paired well with the Yang Chow Rice. I seldom see Wolfberry (last time was during a buffet lunch at Red Lantern Solaire). It did not have any distinct taste to it but i just love it as an addition to any dish. Having 'Wolfberry' on the menu gives a nice, cool ring to any dish.Overall, it was a very pleasant family dinner. The kids are noisy as ever when they are having fun, so i guess I can say it was another dining success. Senior cards honored. Receipt issued. Recommended.

I recently tried this place with my family. First of all, I do NOT recommend their dimsum. We did get the Hakaw and Siomai, and they looked pretty dull & colorless. They served 3pcs of Hakaw for 130 (definitely a rip off). I also do not recommend the Taosi Fish Fillet since their fish is dory. But I must say, the sauce was flavorful. Their dishes have very little serving, considering the price. This is definitely a miss. Never coming back.

My mom and dad's go-to restaurant at Madison Galeries. Yummy: Lechon Macau, Pork Siomai, Beef Hofan. Place can accommodate large groups of people
