What we ordered: Spaghetti and Club Sandwich. Makati Supermarket Cafe's spaghetti was totally worth it. It's your pinoy style spaghetti with a hint of tangy taste. You'll be coming back for more once you've tasted it. This spaghetti is perfect for all occasions that you could get for a reasonable price. The clubhouse was good enough for 2 because the serving was really big. It also comes with French fries on the side. Plus points for the thick slices of chicken on it! This is actually the perfect place when you are craving for simple comfort food. It's nothing extravagant, but its simplicity is worth going back for.P Food: 3.5 | Service: 3 | Ambiance: 3R Food: 3.5 | Service: 3.5 | Ambiance: 3PxR

I still remember those Saturday mornings with my grandparents dining in at their defunct Makati branch. Transferring to the suburbs of Alabang in the mid-90's retaining "Makati" in Makati Supermarket and their Coffee Shop made it more accessible to us. I grew up eating their Spaghetti. It is a rich, Filipino blend that is not too sweet. It is filled with ham, hotdog bits and a handful of grated processed cheese. Served with a side of toasted bread with refrigerated butter. We always order their medium plate at 110pesos. The restaurant is in need of renovation, they used to occupy the entire dining area but now is shared with Luk Yuen Restaurant. They still have the upscale turo turo by the counter with prices ranging from 150pesos to 200pesos. Each viand comes with rice and a small plate of fruit salad for dessert. One of my childhood favorites is their Makati Supermarket Hamburger Steak, it comes with a side of string beans, carrots toasted bread, butter and a spoonful of mayonnaise. It is beefy goodness mixed with flavorful minced spring onions. Recommended with a bit of nostalgia. Their clientele is more of the older crowd of the neighborhood and those who know them during their Makati days.

I really love their sweet Filipino-style spaghetti - it's extremely affordable and filling at the same time. However, lately, they are not that consistent in the taste dpartment. There was a time when it tasted a bit bland. I hope they fix that.

I ordered Pasta and Sandwich meal to go since I am in a hurry. Service was quick. Place was clean. The food was packed neatly in microvable containers without extra charge. Other restos or cafes charge extra for those. I love their chicken sandwich and the famous Filipino style spaghetti is really good. I was nostalgic of my childhood. It somewhat tastes close to that of Old Mister Donut's spaghetti. I wish I ordered dessert too. I will go back and have dinner there soon. There were still a lot on the menu I'd like to try like their tapa and omelettes.

My mom and I always go here after grocery shopping. We love their spaghetti, kare-kare and callos. Everything they serve is truly comfort food.
