Celebrated my grandma's birthday here. I'm giving 5 stars since she was really happy and enjoyed the food. Although food servings were little and really pricey.

Hands down one of the best Filipino cuisine food chains for me. Though their Crispy Pata is definitely the star of the menu, all the other dishes are still good enough to be on the team. But Crispy Pata is star player.

We often eat here because we love kuya j’s food and the price is affordable. However, the service is really bad, our visit wouldn’t be complete without a waiter spilling or dropping something. Parang natataranta sila pag peak hours, kulang kulang pa yung order kahit na nililista naman nila, and when you remind them or call them parang irritable na, maybe dahil sa pagod or gutom na sila.

Went here (Dec 26, '17, food served by 1:20pm - Kuya J Festival Mall - Garden something branch). Ordered pinakbet and I didn't know their secret ingredient is a long semi-rusty bolt. All they say now is they're going to investigate the incident, if it's something from the commissary or the kitchen's fault. But then my thought about it is that, even if it's primarily the fault of the commissary, the kitchen is the last front before the food reaches the customer. There's a blatant neglect and lack of quality service here. Hence, it's much saddening especially this season.

We dined here yesterday and i would say that would be the first and last time. Quality of service and cleanliness are the main factors why we wouldn’t want to eat here anymore. When we came it was almost11am, and it wasn’t fill with customers yet. We requested to be transferred to a different table since the one given to us was just right infront of the washrooms, and trash bin, so i guess nobody would want to have flies sharing the food with them. The male server escorted us to a different table and he really showed his annoyance to us. Too  that he even raised his eyebrow & left us there without even rearranging the table set up. We’re a group of 5 but we told him another 3 people will come so we need a table for 8 + a high chair for the kid. But then, he gave us a table set up for 6 and added a chair, to make it 7! Only an extra chair. Shortly after placing our orders, our 3 companions came with a 1yr old kid. We asked for his assistance to give us extra plates and cutleries, and a high chair. But it ended up us taking the plates from the other table and set it ourselves. We followed up the high chair and he replied, “walang available po kasi 3 lang high chair namen” and Immediately tuned his back.We ordered for SaloSalo 4 coz they said SaloSalo1&2 are unavailable. So we ordered a few extras apart from the package. The worst thing was we waited for 30mins and they just served the “lumpia prito”. Yes! Only that, the rice were not even ready. Another server said “Maam d pa po ready ung kanin”. The mere fact that the store is not even at its peak or busy hour, they cannot provide a quality customer service to their customers, it is so disappointing! Seemed that their kitchen too isn’t ready to open! I would understand if it is totally packed by people, i could have given them the benefit of the doubt. After roughly 15mins, the crispy pata was served, followed by the chopsuey. And the rice we had to wait for another 10mins. Then the rest like their bulalo, bangus, and kaldereta finally served almost 5mins after.* Food Servings are quite small* Food Quality/Taste is not really overwhelming* Cleanliness of the plates, glasses, and cutleries are not so clean at all. You can see the marks or patches on it, the glasses were rough to touch and you’ll see that it was not properly cleanse or rinsed.*The servers and staff definitely has a poor quality of customer service, and lack of manners. They simply put the food orders on the table, regardless if that will be on the edge of the table. You have to tell them that they need bust out. They compressed us in a table for 6, whereas we are a total of 8, seeing that there are tables available on the other side that we’re unreserved. They must train their people well.
