I was meticulously selecting Ramen Houses for #salvasfoodventures presents #MrRamenSeries project by checking each houses' menu thru website and their websites. I came across a Kenji Tei's ramen with butter on it. I thought it's interesting, I need to partake on it.Kenji Tei ATC is my sixth Ramen House to explore for this venture. It is accessible from my place around 12 minutes ride. Unlike any other Ramen Houses, Kenji Tei is very spacious. I think it can accomodate 40 people or even more. It has a neutral color palette interior. I like the structural ceiling design the most. However, the upholstery of the red couches need to be replaced. Most of them have cracks, guess these furnitures has been around for years. The attentive waitress Geraldine assisted me from the moment I entered the restaurant. She guided me about the difference of the ramens in their menu. I still ended up ordering my target ramen: Miso Butter Corn Ramen plus the Salmon Belly Aburi Sushi. The service was quick, I got my order in three minutes or less. I got to applaude the male staff who is very accomodating whenever I got questions about my meal. I wasn't able to get his name though. The Miso Butter Corn Ramen is a fusion of flavor. The melted butter added creaminess to the salty tartnes of the miso while the corn and lean ground pork added sweetness to the broth. The medium-sized, lean chashu tasted like smoke bacon thus giving smoky characteristic of the ramen. The generous amount of spinach are perfectly blanched, it gave freshness to the dish. I'm not a fan of the noodles coz I found it salty and a little soggy. I ordered the regular size ramen. For the price of Php295, this can be shared by two people. The Salmon Belly Aburi Sushi came along with spicy pickled ginger. It's a joy to eat the sushi because of the fresh silkiness of the salmon belly, it melts in your mouth. The lightly torched part of the fish adds smokiness to the dish. If you want to get rid of the fishy taste of the salmon, put some pickled ginger on top of it before dipping into the soy wasabi mixture. To wrap it up, Kenji Tei is an excellent choice to dine in for a large group of people. Don't just target their ramen coz they have other delicious dishes too. I'll go back to try other sushis and kani salad in the menu!DISCLOSURE: one-time visit, 09.03.2018 around 2:10PMSCORE BOARDFood - 4Service - 4Ambience - 3Value for Money (VFM) - 5Accessibility & Flexibiltiy (AF) - 5Overall Rating = 4.2NOTE: I rated 4.0 to follow website's current Rating Scheme.

I have not been back to Kenji Tei in years, so I was really glad to be reacquainted with their well loved dishes. They even have a Japanese chef on board so you can be sure that the dishes are true to their Japanese origins. We got to try several types of ramen, but I highly recommend the Miso Butter Corn ramen. You'll be glad to know that the ramen comes in 2 sizes, so you can order one based on your appetite. I'm a fan of chicken skin, so I really enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Teriyaki. It will be a surehit with the kids. I would also recommend that you try the Teppan Saikoro Beef. This is a Kenji Tei famous dish as its head chef Kensan loves making it for his wife. You will find that the shimeji mushrooms and string beans complement the beef. Of everything we had been served, my ultimate favorites are the Tempura Maki and the Crunchy Kani Maki. I just love the crunch with sushi. I also like the ambiance of the place. It is very clean and spacious. If you're looking for a Japanese fix, drop by Kenji Tei. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Kenji Tei and website for this opportunity.

I used to eat here a lot but the food's quality degraded significantly. The service is poor. I called the waiter's attention 3-4 times to follow up just a brewed coffee and it took them 15-20 mins to have this in my table. Take note that the restaurant is not even 30% full.

Kenji Tei introduces their version of the latest addition to their ensemble of Donburi meals, the Yakiniku Don.I was invited to be a part of this food tasting event ,thanks Mr.Eboy Donato and Kenjitei Alabang.Aside from the featured dish we were also had a taste of other classic and a new item.kani harumaki - kani salad wrapped in thin rice paper with cherry tomatoes and Japanese vinaigrette.Very Southeast Asian ,the rice paper represented Lao,Thai and Vietnamese notes on the dish ,very refreshing it can be both as an appetizer or even a palate cleanser.salmon sahimi bestseller in Kenjitei, nice slices of fresh raw salmon on a bed of crispy fried vermicelli. In every sashimi the key is always the freshness of the fish. Its good!cheese gyoza- I seldom eat gyoza because I'm not a fan of deep fried dumplings even the Chinese or Taiwanese rendition I'm not a fan. However the Kenjitei's version is a lot different from the others I've tasted ,it was not too oily ,nice moist and flavorful filling .Yakiniku Don - thin slices of grilled beef slices on a hefty serving of good quality Japanese rice topped with nicely done poached egg.I like that the meat with some layers of fat which made it more flavorful. Very satisfying and filling, good meat marinade and the runny egg yolk gave more volume on the dish .🌸🌸YAKINIKU DON AVAILABLE AT ATC BRANCH ONLY.🌸🌸#tseeboogASIANO🐘#simpleyetTRUE🦁🦁

I had their beef yakiniku donburi bowl (available at their ATC branch only), sashimi and kani harumaki. Beef donburi bowl was tasty and filling, poached egg was perfectly done. Sashimi was fresh. Kani harumaki is basically kani salad that was made into a roll, and was good. The store is very spacious with a lot of seating. Staff were polite and always with a smile.

Service is excellent. The waitress introduced to me a new dish - Yakidon (grilled beef on top of rice). Flavor was tasty but the beef was fatty. Some of the parts were hard to chew, hence, I didn’t swallow it anymore. My wife ordered a gyudon and the flavor was too salty. The salmon belly sushi was delicious though.

Our first time here! The ambiance is good. The food is not what we expected to be. Gidz- for me a good type of spicy ramen has a good level of spiciness that complements well on its taste and without the thoughtless feeling. Isis - i love the gyoza ❤️ the ramen is not that good. I didn’t like the firmness of the noodles. (Merely our opinion) ❤️

For a quick lunch, I had a nice meal at kenji tei. They same one of the best spicy tuna sashimi in Metro Manila. Fresh cubes of tune with mayo and tempura bits that comes with a side salad. The yakiniku don was also very good with generous serving of grilled beef on a bed with japanese rice. The wait staff was also quite accomodating and friendly.
