At first glance, I thought it was a Japanese restaurant, but was surprised to know its main forte is pastry. Nonetheless, they offer Japanese food. They have wide selection of food with generous servings! I particularly love the huge Dynamite Roll and Pirikara Teishoku set meal! All the dishes we ordered were equally delicious but those two are my favorite. I say, great value for money. I will definitely eat here again and will highly recommend this place. :)

The underrated hype is real. Jipan's dynamite roll is a must order. I never expected this brand, known for its fresh bread, could whip up a good serving of fusion maki.I was at Omakase at that time with my father-in-law, who is a huge fan of Japanese cuisine. Out of all the Japanese places he has been to, he said that the most surprising of them all is Jipan's dynamite roll. A few days after, I read an article that one of Manila's best maki is Jipan's dynamite roll. In effect, I got so hyped up to try it. Finally, today, as I jot down this review while munching down on the rolls, I can confirm that it's worth a try. What I love about this place is that no one cares about it that much compared to Ooma or Omakase. I can just go here anytime, no long lines and order my new favorite.

Not the best Japanese restaurant in town, but certainly not the worst. I have to say it's pretty average. The restaurant does not serve authentic Japanese dishes much to my dismay, but the price and its serving is alright. For those who are interested on Fusion dishes, give Jipan a go. Most of the restaurants in ATC are full every Saturday night and this one houses only a few visitors, and it'sno surprise at all considering their food is average. Ordered their Gyudon and I'm surprised there are sotanghon noodles. I wonder who comes up with these? Yikes. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for the egg. It's not Japanese rice, in case you're wondering. Service is great. The staff are courteous and they're eager to serve you which is a plus for me.

The restaurant interiors were comfortable and a treat to the eye as it had a quaint bakery section on the side. But this did not live to its expectations for their food. We ordered tempura, set menu of chicken teriyaki, pork katsudon, and gyudon. The chicken and pork was dry and tough. Only the side of sauteed vegetables, miso soup, and gyudon were okay.

I discovered Ebi Tempura Udon and wow! I love the broth so much I wish it'd have a second serving. I'm not really an udon fan but this can change everything because all its contents are delicious. It's so relaxing to eat early morning.Squid Ink Epi Bread is obviously very interesting and it's hard to say no to the squid ink twist. It's terrific when heated and no worries regarding teeth-coloring.Gyudon is okay. They're pretty generous in the noodle department but more meat would be nice.Service is excellent! We even purchased their Jipan card for P200 to get discounts every visit at any branch. The freebies give good added value to this card.
