With a friendly price range, this is a good spot for those who would like to quickly give-in to their cravings. Their chicken quesadilla and Nachos in particular is ideal for quick bites. They also serve wings as well, with their "single, no bones dish" offers a boneless chicken in Cheetos "crumbs". I wish they could make it spicy from the get go. But don't worry, a douse of hot sauce can easily remedy that. Always a treat when we dine in here. Whenever we watch a movie in Commerce, we would always end up here for dinner. I always order the Chubby's Special. I like the fact that most of their dishes are covered in BBQ sauce. My husband tries different dishes with Fajitas on the side.. I'd definitely recommend this place :)

Actual meal appears different from the menu.Tasty ribs, sides are OK, the price is a bit steep for my wallet.Service is quite questionable.They tend to miss out on the orders.And you hate it when the next table that arrived later gets their drinks and appetizers ahead of you.

Chubby's Rib Shack is located at the ground floor of Commerce Center it occupy the same space of Buffalo's Wings N' Things.Their prices are budget friendly though they need to do something with the quality and taste of their dishes.Griddled Fish with Salsa Ranchero (P259)Sole Fillet was perfectly cooked however the salsa ranchero need some spices. All I can taste was just plain tomatoes. Some of the shredded cabbage and carrot in the coleslaw have dried up.Pulled Pork Nachos (P159)Despite that we were served with newly prepared nachos, for me there was something missing. The tortilla chips was crispy, salsa was fresh and it has an equal ratio of melted cheese to the whole nachos. I think they have to work on with the pulled pork. It is tender but it tasted bland. Chubby's Special (P299)I was excited with the ribs, especially that it was smothered in BBQ Sauce. Unfortunately the ribs are quite dry and there's nothing special with its taste ;( They used the same pulled pork in nachos which needs some seasoning too.

Chubby's Rib Shack and Buffalo's Wings N' Things shared the same spot at the ground floor of Commerce Center. We tried the following dishes:Pulled Pork Nachos (P159)I'm a nachos lover, it is one of my comfort food especially if you will pair it with a cold  bottle of soda or beer. For its price I must say it's cheap because it can be shared by two to three people. Well, depending on your appetite. I love how the salsa goes well with the melted cheese, except for the fact that the pulled pork is bland. They need to tweak something in their seasoning and I'm sure this will be a hit.Chubby's Special (P299)Combination of riblets and BBQ pulled pork basted with your choice of BBQ sauce. Served with Honky Tonky rice, Texas toast and coleslaw. The riblets are well covered with the BBQ Sauce but to my dismay the meat is dry and plain. It has a generous serving of pulled pork on topped of the Texas Toast but still it needs some seasoning to make it appetizing. The Honky Tonky rice is good on its own.Griddled Fish with Salsa Ranchero (P259)We also tried their griddled fish, the fish itself is moist and juicy but I find the salsa and coleslaw too plain and boring ;(

That’s why we were pretty much stoked to be in Chubby’s Rib Shack to have some of their good ol’ ribs. Chubby’s share the same spot with Buffalo Wings N’ Things so if you’re also in the mood for some wings then it’s your lucky day!.We were served with a slab of Baby Back Ribs, some BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos, Griddled Fish with Salsa Ranchero, and their Chubby’s Special. We totally loved the BBQ Pulled Pork on the nachos because not only that the BBQ Pulled Pork gave a different take on the typical nacho topping but the nacho-topping ratio itself was just right. Also, the Chubby’s Special is one you’d order when you wanna have a good, satisfying meal. It has a generous slab of riblets and pulled pork, coleslaw, Texas toast, and Honky Tonky rice. Did I mention that you can choose your the sauce for your ribs? Ask for the sauces available! And of course, their Baby Back Ribs was just tender, and meaty. Not many appetizing food choices at the Commerce Mall. If not for its alternative movie screenings from adjacent malls, this mall would've struggled. Anyway, Chubby's, one of the most successful rib chains, was one of the few worthy stops for a meal here. Their Chicken Barbecue and Riblets combo at Php 329 screams value for money. Both meats were obviously prepared well in the kitchen. The marination must have taken awhile for its consistent barbecue flavor. The Steak Fajitas which are imported from the US also did not disappoint. Even if you let the beef sizzle much longer, it still stays soft and tender. Note that there is a Margarita blend mixed on this dish. Out of curiosity, I also got to try one of the hottest sauce in the world. It's the sauce behind their wings challenge. Having it requires you to sign a waiver, now that crazy, right? So far only two people have successfully conquered it. There is a hidden wonder on their menu, thanks to friend Roxanne who frequents this spot. You got to try their Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. It's a version far better than that of the cake with its perfect blend of vanilla ice cream, powdered grahams and blueberries.

Before watching the movie, we still have 1 hour spare time, decided to eat at here since they have a group meal for 4. We did not expect that will be that much. The group meal consist of 12 chicken wings with 2 flavors, 8 chicken tenders, 4 rice, cheesy bacon potato wedges.We choose to have the Rookie which it is mild spicy wings. Garlic Parmesan, we didn't like it because its is very buttery and did not taste the garlic at all. Kpop is the sweet but spicy flavor. Then the new your finest, prolly this is not their super spicy sayce but this made us finish pur ice tea. That's how spicy it is. It is very oily too.The chicken wings and tenders are very juicy and tender. The potato wedges finish it while it is hot.

Didn't actually like their chicken and bacon :(Good thing Buffalo Wings and Things is with them so I always have a backup order.This is just under our office so I always eat here or Buffalos.

AMBIENCE/AMENITIES: Typical american vibe. i love the pieces of log used as decor. Tables were set up outside for some al-fresco dining.STAFF SERVICE: The staff's friendliness and warm smiles somehow mitigated their inattentiveness and complacency.FOOD/BEVERAGE: On its face, the Baby Back Ribs (P389) really glimmers in sauce. But as you bite it, you'll discover that its dry inside. Its taste did not depart from the typical ribs offered in the market. We were also baffled by the choice of side dishes. 😐 As for the Griddled Fish with Salsa Ranchero (P259), I found it to be bland. And the taste of the tomatoes just overpowers that of the fillet. I do hope that they find an alternative to it. Then the BBQ Pork Pulled Nachos (P159) were likewise typical. The meat used was somehow bland as well. Maybe its the taste they are going for? 😐VERDICT: One of the affordable meals in Commercenter. Best for those who are out on a budget. However, if you really want tastier meals, then you might want to consider dining elsewhere.
