Caramia has this quaint little space at the new wing of Festivall Mall. Since this is a kiosk, the place has very limited seating capacity. I tried the Midnight Dream cake and it was really good. Its a chocolate cake with caramelized cashews that adds a crunch to the cake.

When you visit a restaurant, fastfood, or ice cream store, you do not automatically like 'everything' but it takes 'only one thing' for you to try the rest, one at a time.If you love turtle pie (Sugar House, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf), then Caramia's turtle pie gelato will drive you crazy. You would not believe it really tastes like turtle pie. Is it turtle pie converted to gelato? I have never come across any other ice cream store that offers this flavor.I admit that it is so flavorful (with the pecans, chocolate, and all) and even its after-taste is still unbearably sweet. So, I recommend just a scoop. More than that and it is already overdose.I got so accustomed to this that my visit is not complete if I do not have one scoop of their turtle pie gelato and then the second scoop goes to another flavor I have not tasted yet (they do have other delightful and unique gelato flavors).I quit Dairy Queen when I experienced Cold Stone. I threw this 'stone' away when I discovered Caramia's turtle pie gelato - a flavor like no other. It became my favorite!Surprisingly, the store manager is adept with excellent customer service. First time I visited, I really appreciated her concern and sincerity when she cheerfully offered me a glass of water without me asking (since the turtle pie gelato is too delicious, yet too sweet). I have been visiting their booth not more than five times and she gave me two discount coupons - get two gelato scoops for the price of one. She always smiles when I come by to order though she already knows what I will order. I cannot tell yet for other staff of other branches but if you already encounter one warm person in one branch, this is a huge factor for you to always go to that same branch since you foster good customer relation that you cannot just find anywhere. You cannot avoid some passers-by since this is a kiosk. However, you only care and focus on eating this damn good gelato and will need to ignore minor annoyances (those who walk near your cute table and chair, and suddenly cough, or those 'butaws' that infest malls nowadays). I just love this ice cream and NOBODY can spoil my enjoyment! In fact, I am craving for one turtle pie gelato while writing this review. It is just too awesome yummy!Their cakes? Midnight Dream is a great alternative to Black Forest.

Their gelatos are great as well as the ice cream cakes, i only tried choco sansrival, though. A.must.try! Take out is possible since they have this great packaging that keeps the ice cream frozen for 2hrs I guess. A bit pricey but who cares if it's too good? Haha :)

After a visit from my favorite outdoor depot and having lunch from my favorite and most probably the nearest to the legit Banh Mi sandwich.I opted for a dessert. And Cara Mia came into mind.I've been a fan of Cara Mia years back,Im a fan of their gelato especially the pistachio flavor.Recently I'm beginning to adore their cakes both the refrigerated ones and their gelato cakes.Love their coffee honeycomb and their bestseller pistachio chocolatto cakes.I picked to have a gelato cake, been visually charmed with their vivid hues like the mango passion, matcha, rouge and a lot more.I elected to have the Rouge because of it crimson charm.Rouge is a dynamic concunction of strawberry, blueberry and vanilla gelato seating on a crusted graham. The staff asked me if I wanted it to be paired with coffee,I replied "How much?" ,she said Php199 because they have an ongoing promo.A quickly said yes!The Rouge was a marvel ,flavors of berries and vanilla popped pleasantly with that crumbly texture and taste of the graham just blend in.Toppings of fresh frozen blueberries made it sensational. The coffee they served was in a mug so with that price range combo it was a double thumbs up!Staff were friendly ,great and warm service. The manager Miss Miguela is cordial as well.Total rate ,a Happy Place.☺☺☺

Rouge - a layer of blueberry, strawberry and vanilla gelato on a crust of crushed grahams and thin layer of sponge cake topped with grapes, strawberry and chocolate. Its side has a mixed red and green fondant.Voted as one of the best desserts by the Philippine Inquirer and I vote for it as one of the best gelato cakes as it is surprisingly not too sweet and perfect for gelato and cake lovers.Price: 170 php per slice or 1,385 php for 1 wholeTable for: 1 cake/gelato loverCake rating: 4/5Midnight Dream - decadent chocolate chiffon with caramelized cashews. Another of Philippine Inquirer Lifestyle's best dessets of 2017.what I love about Caramia's cakes is that it's not too sweet (but my friend find it sweet) and it melts in your mouth plus it is not pricey. This is true love. 😍Price: 125 phpTable for: 1 cake/chocolate loverFood Rating: 5/5Ambiance: 3/5Service: 3/5Value for Money: 4/5Disclaimer: I'm a chocolate/sweets/dessert lover#midnightdream #rouge #caramia #gelatocake #frozencakedessert
