We ordered Mango Cheese and Brownie Bingsu both single sized. As for the size, the single sized was too much already. :) As for the taste, it got the right blend, not too sweet. Also, the ice feels like you're eating a flavored snow. 😀😀 and as for the ambiance of the place, a big thumbs up! Music's not too loud, enought to be relaxing, place is quite accessible and peaceful, so you'll feel as if you are in Korea or somewhere else. There was way too much staff to accomodate you.

It's my first time and my friend to try this Korean dessert and we must say the taste of their dessert were pretty good, we've ordered a mango and cheese bingsu (if you love mangoes you will definitely like this. 😘), a strawberry yogurt (although it's very sweet but my friend enjoyed it) and lastly, we ordered a ham and cheese croissant (this is we love the most, super delicious!!). We will be going back again to try their coffee and other desserts. :)

Worth the trek to Commerce Center! The place is classy yet comfy. There are lots of seating options depending on your mood and number (yes, they even have al fresco dining). Price to serving size ratio is sulit! Their bing-su comes in two sizes. Single is actually good for two (especially if you've already eaten before coming here). Double can be shared by 2-3 people. What we ordered:CHOCO BROWNIE BING-SUThe chocolate flavoured ice sets this apart from other places' choco bing-su. It was also topped with chocolate ice cream. In the middle layer you will find choco flakes hidden in the ice! Even with all these ingredients, the sweetness is not overpowering. This is the yummiest choco bing-su I've ever had! 😻INJEOMI BING-SUTheir version has nuts in the middle. This is also good, although I would like it to be sweeter.

Been craving for bingsu all the time. Good thing Cafe Seolhwa just opened in Comerce Center. Quiet place and good avenue to hang out. Interior was better than the bgc branch. We love their mango bingsu

Nice loft style interior Korean dessert place at Commerce Center Alabang. Tried their Green Tea Bingsu and it was pretty good! Will definitely go back to try other stuff.

Serving is pretty big for a single serving (already good for 2 pax). Price is reasonable enough for its taste. The ice they use for the dessert are very unique. It's very crushed like almost a texture of a snow 😊. Would definitely come back and recommend this to my friends 🍧. Overall, taste of food and ambience is superb. 👌🏼

So I finally gave in and tried the Bingsu, the Korean version of our beloved halo-halo. And boy, I was not disappointed! The place itself has a very nice and warm interiors. I love how the place has a loft which provides additional sitting. Chairs are not only pretty but very cozy as well. Since we already ate before coming to this place, we just ordered their large mango cheese bingsu for dessert.Warning: Do not be fooled, their serving is pretty big. The larger serving can feed 3 or more and their single serving can feed 2 people especially if you ate a meal before going here. So if you had a big meal before coming here or visited this place with a friend, it is best to order the Single. But then again, I am not complaining for their mango cheese bingsu is heaven! Shaved ice like the texture of powder topped with vanilla ice cream, diced mangoes, cheesecake bits and almond flakes...mmm, so yummy! I am not sure though if milk is poured on it like in Pinoy Halo Halo. It is not too sweet, not too bland and very refreshing!Aside from bingsu, they have an array of pastries and selection of tea, coffee and other snacks. It is one stop place if you want to relax and eat good food.

Tried their choco brownie bingsu. At first I wanted to try a simpler one since I had a feeling that this one would be too sweet but to my surprise it wasn't that sweet at all. It was just right. Wish it had a lil more sweetness tho. The brownie was a bit dry but I enjoyed the cereal and their fine shaved ice. Their regular/small is already good for sharing so the price and quality is pretty good.

I've gone to Cafe Seol Hwa thrice: first, during its soft opening, and second & third during regular operating days. I'm glad to observe that their people have remained attentive and prompt in terms of service. Also, they have many plugs around both floors of the cafe, and midday is a good time to work alone on a spot overlooking trees and streets while enjoying a cup of coffee. Below is a review of their drinks and desserts (of course, you go here mainly for the desserts! 😁):* HOT CAFE LATTEIf you've been to Korea, you'll know for sure that they serve really strong coffee. Even their instant mixes and vendo choices are strong, too! Thus, it didn't come as a surprise that Cafe Seol Hwa's Cafe Latte was more on the bitter side yet still made creamy with milk. We had this at night after dinner & before watching a movie (we shared a cup 'cause we had another drink) so it might be good for a person to order this & consume solo at an earlier time to not disrupt one's sleeping pattern. 😜 OR if you're pulling in a long night to finish something, this can definitely be a good choice if you want an uncomplicated drink. :)* INJEOLMI BING SUBecause Cafe Seol Hwa is a franchise of another favorite, Hollys Coffee, this isn't my first time to have the Injeolmi Bing Su. Hollys calls their bing su as milk snow which also offers most of Seol Hwa's flavors, and this was practically the same, good, good, GOOD thing. :) It is made up of what they chose to call--again--milk snow (frozen milk that's finely shaved using a special machine), grain powder (a.k.a. injeolmi; this is a staple in many Korean snacks), rice cake, nuts & dried fruit. The only difference that I appreciate with Cafe Seol Hwa's version is that they serve Red Bean on the side, adding a different texture to this already yummy treat! * BERRY CHEESE BING SUI owe it to my boyfriend for being able to choose the most adventurous desserts (and more often than not, with berries 😄) when we're together. He picked this as our second Bing Su for during a visit, and boy, IT WAS PHENOMENAL! 👍🙌👏 I mean, who thinks up of making a cold, beautiful bowl filled with everything delicious, rising up to 10 inches high coz of berry whipped cream?! This bing su is truly the best I've had in this lifetime. It has fresh blueberries & strawberries, cheesecake slices w/ a more tarty yet creamy texture (just goes to show they really didn't skimp on the cheese), nuts & of course, the yummy milk snow. And yes, it was so beautiful that we hesitated to ruin this work of art with the first spoonful. P.S. All kinds of bing su have two sizes to choose from: Small (good for 1-2 person/s but I really can finish one on my own LOL) & Large (good for 2-3 persons).---Want to see more semi vegetarian (+ dessert food features)? 😊Follow me on Instagram: @thissemivegetarianlife And find me on Tumblr: This Semi Vegetarian Life
