Latin American comfort food at its finest. I have dined in a few of their branches (Podium, SM Jazz and SM Aura) and I sensed a bit of inconsistency in their cooking. For me, the branch at the SM Aura food court surprisingly wins it for me.For mains, we had the pollo asado and puerco asado platters, as well as the appetizer sampler which contained tostadas fritas, empanaditas and croquetas. The starter was just OK. Nothing special about the tostadas and the croquetas. I liked the empanaditas the most. I found the platters to be somewhat a bit dry, maybe from overcooking. The ones they serve at SM Aura are always juicy and tastier.

I have always loved Brasas and have been a frequent customer in their branch at Podium and even the one at SM Aura. I always go for their carne asada and dirty fries. Dining with family is always better because I get to taste a whole lot of other things (visited family living down south, Evia being 5 minutes away from where they live). Had their carne asada, puerco asado, pollo asado, carne saltado, ensalada, and some tostadas. However, there has been an observed inconsistency with the food here compared to how they do it in Podium. What we had tasted just okay. Service was slow. Maybe because its a holiday and a number of families are dining at the same time with us.

Brasas is one of my go-to places for south american cuisine. My initial taste of which was at SM Aura's food court. My favorite dish would be the Puerco Asada platter. The tostadas is also nice (had the pollo/chicken). This particular branch in Evia is the first dine-in store I have been too and its actually nice.

We went to Evia mall for a change and randomly came across this restaurant. My mom and i decided to give it a try since we've been looking for a restaurant that serves good latin american dishes (esp in the south)We ordered their best sellers Puerco Asado and Pollo a la brasas... and it didn't disappoint us! Their meat is so juicy and tasty. Especially the Pork Belly (Puerco Asado). We'll definitely come back and bring my other sisters along. But for now, i'll just make them jealous with our new discovery :))

Love their patacones, carne asada wrap and smoked pulled pork sandwich. Have dined here more than 3 times and will still likely return. Only downside is they close early.
