The ramen here's good enough, because of its price anyway. Usually do not expect too very much; but it will certainly fulfill your ramen craving. There are many better ramen places close by, and sadly, that one cannot beat your competition. Try out the spicy miso though. Fairenough.

The restaurant occupies a two-storey unit in the The River Backyard, a new upscale eating and entertainment area within the Festival Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa. Exactly the same restaurant also homes the better-identified Pho Hoa Vietnamese cafe since both dining places have exactly the same owner. Asahikawa, however,is really a bad imitation of the Japanese eating place. I'm told Asahikawa cafe is really a home-grown restaurant developed by the franchisors of Pho Hoa, who hoped to lender on the reputation of the Vietnamese franchise. Unlike the meals quality/helping of Pho Hoa, however, Asahikawa's dishes leave a lot to be desired. Their miso ramen provides two slim slices of pork tummy as the soup was very slim and watery. The noodles tasted instead plain. A long way off from Ippudo and Fukuoka Ramen's ramen meals, although their costs don't differ much. The tonkatsu breading includes a weird aftertaste and the pork was quite dried out and thin. The glazed chicken wings tasted alright however the servings were very small. Overall, the eating place is neither worth nor taste for the money. Will not be recommending this to my close friends. Well, unless they consuming Pho Hoa dishes.
