I've been to the place several times during the past and, aside from the smoke, it had been ok. Tonight I proceeded to go there with many colleagues after work with a several beers. A couple of minutes after we arrived a man emerged in with a trumpet, saidhi to the dog owner, and proceeded to blast German oompah songs while enjoying along on the trumpet. It had been so loud there is no hope of discussion. This continued for 15+ a few minutes before we finally quit and left. If the songs hadn’t been as loud or as distorted it could have been ok, nonetheless it was just weird that some friend of the dog owner was allowed to dominate the restaurant such as this. Clearly the clients aren't the priority.

I occasionally go to Appenzeller for a beer and meals and to meet buddies. This 7 days I had the Poultry Caccatori that was delicious. It had been an American dimension helping and acquired to talk about it with my pal who furthermore commented it had been really tasty.It is a good pub ambience unfortunately the tobacco smoke is somewhat of the put-off.

Food was common and the pricing has been ok. I just cannot stand the odor of the smoke! Services was a bit gradual but tolerable. I might go back however, not that soon.

Came here following a wedding inside Alabang and it's a good little Euro pub - ideal for taking a band of friends there to get a few beverages. Didn't try the food however the menu looked pretty straight forward with regular pub typefoods. They had an excellent collection of liquors and beers also it seems like the type of place where a large amount of "regulars" go. We have there been on a Sunday and the pub has been still about 50 % full.

It is a fine place for an agreeable dinner or drinks across the Alabang - Zapote road. The food is great quality and the chef serves ample portions guaranteed to fulfill the guests hunger. Great beers and the trick Appenzeller digestif beverage whichshares exactly the same name because the restaurant. Always good company which place has got better still since the smoke totally free environment was introduced past month. Probably also the very best pool table within the south of Manila. There's a good mixture of regulars and guests which are taken care of by the dog owner René and his group.

I must say i enjoyed Appenzeller. Foods is great (both my German web host and I got Schnitzel), the service will be good and the costs are reasonable. I really like potatoes that are not fried, and they possess a boiled choice - low calories, and actually tasty. My pal hadpan fried, plus they were just superb. Not sure why, however when we went (the other day on a Wednesday around noon), however the place was totally empty aside from what were a normal sitting at the bar. In accordance with my buddy, nevertheless, the area is packed during the night with a fairly cliquish European group and is similar to the pub. I'm not just a big enthusiast of expat areas or Pubs (choose Filipino company 99% of that time period)....therefore i wouldn't go during the night. But for a nice lunch in a pleasant place with good meals - terrific. Enjoy.

We met here for a few drinks prior to going to a celebration. We had been in fancy dress outfits which triggered amusement to the employees. In fact the dog owner obtained us some shots to possess a photo taken! Just what a nice guy. The service really was good andthey kept the beverages flowing.

I have only gone to The Appenzeller several times as it may be the local place for most of my close friends and every time I go, Personally i think more in the home. The services is amazing and the meals is delicious. Often I've hadthe roast pork with potato and reddish colored cabbage, outstanding. Reasonable charges for excellent foods and great assistance is always a champion for me personally. Added that the dog owner is almost usually readily available to say an agreeable hello and also pass you a very tasty little photo of an area liqueur.

Had a birthday supper here final February. The meals was very good, in case a small on the pricey aspect, which we expected in any case. The staff was excellent, so accommodating and helpful, and the support was fast. My buddies and I experienced a really enjoyable evening--thankyou so very much!
