I visited Acaci last July 22, 2017 for their dinner buffet. Pros1. GREAT service - I would go back to Acaci again and again just for their service! Ms. Abby, Ms. Elle and Mr. Renato and all the servers had a constant smile on their faces, were always ready to accommodate me and my friends, and served our food promptly. The employeewho handles reservations throughthe phone was also very cheerful and helpful.2. Cozy atmosphere - the lighting was warm, the seats were plush, and the music instrumentals all added to a very relaxing atmosphere. 3. Pretty layout - I see why Acaci is known for their high ceilings and glass walls! Very beautiful and elegant. 4. Comfortable seats - These need a mention of their own HAHA! The seats were beautiful and very conducive to conversation.5. Easy reservation - I reserved a table two weeks in advance. I was able to enter Acaci at around 3PM and even if they were busy preparing for dinner, I was accommodated immediately. What's great about reserving in person was that I got to choose my table right away (we got the best corner table 😉). I was a difficult customer because I had to change the date to a week before the original reservation, but all I had to do was call once and I was reserved again! They even sent me the drinks menu that I requested after only a few days of waiting.Cons (just a few, I promise!)1. They closed the aircon early - this changed the whole atmosphere 180 degrees. From feeling relaxed and calm, my group of friends suddenly felt like we were on a time limit to finish eating. They closed it at around 8:30, but really, would it make a big difference to wait until closing time at 10PM? Especially since this small detail made such a big impact on our overall dining experience.2. They started music a little late - considering that their dinner began at 6:00, it was surprising that they only started the music at around 7:30. It was a bit awkward before that.3. Not the most extensive food choices - Let's just get this straight: The food is good, as in GOOD. I especially loved their cheese sticks, sashimi, cuts (beef and crispy pata), and their grilled section. Their souffle was a real winner -- the hot gooey chocolate mixed with cold ice cream was heavenly. Unfortunately, it was Filipino food that night. Don't get me wrong, I love Filipino food as much as every other Filipino (AKA: it's the B-E-S-T), but as my friend pointed out, "If it's not my mom's, it's not my favorite." Also, they had only a few main meal choices which I didn't particularly care for (ampalaya, beef tapa, etc.) which tasted okay but were nothing special. The servers offered to make sinigang for us but we were way too full already! That might have stood out more.Overall, the pros very much outweighed the cons. It were the small details that made my experience in Acaci stand out from the rest -- the service of the staff in particular -- and which will make me recommend Acaci to all my family and friends. I also want to try Acacia Hotel's other restaurants and services to see if they can match up! 😁

The food is meh, and they can't cater to vegan requests even though we called in advance. Giving a three star review because the staff were attentive and some of the nicest I've ever encountered. I appreciate the surprise cake as well, but would've preferred something vegan or none at all.

Booked this place for an upcoming event so my bro and I were treated to complimentary dinner buffet. To start, Carrot and Ginger Cream Soup. Different, with the ginger lending some kick towards the end of every spoonful. We sampled Farfalle Salad ( with sun dried tomatoes & capers ), Kani Salad (surprisingly sweet), Greek Salad with Chicken Kebab ( twas alright but kebab was dry), Fruit Salad with Feta and Vinaigrette- this was my fave. For mains we had Chicken Pastel ( I believe they use a cheap kind of cream. Sweet instead of savory), Beef with Pepper Gravy- gravy was sweet too, what's going on? Fish Fillet with Fruit Salsa - the only notable dish; the fish is encrusted with corn chips. Mashed potato- tasted more like mashed camote. For dessert : Carrot Cake- moist ,Panna Cotta ( I prefer the chocolate over the plain), Cheesecake- with half a strawberry; really cute and tasty, and Green Tea Tiramisu- made with Lemon Fondant Icing and green tea icing with butter cream in between the sponge cakes. This cake was really yummy, but cut out the butter cream please😊 . Service was meh, but improved notably towards the end when we were joined by the banquet manager hehe. Would I come back again? Probably not. Would I recommend this place? For those who like sugar in everything from mains to desserts , maybe.

Casual yet classy ambiance. If you need ideas for an intimate dinner date and you want to dress up, this place is perfect. As they have someone playing the piano and violin while you dine. This may also serve well for people just looking for a nice place to celebrate family events like birthdays, anniversaries, graduation etc.Great food. But I say, still, limited choices but great.

Acacia offers buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their main dishes are primarily Filipino and they also have Pinoy desserts. It is a small buffet compared to to other buffets but we like everything we got. Apart from Pinoy dishes they also have a tempura station, a pasta station, salad station and fresh seafood and meat station that they can cook in several ways. They also have a cheese station together with several nuts and dried fruits. They also have ice cream, donuts and other yummy pastries for a sweet ending.

I often come to Acaci on special occasions, and am seldom disappointed. I've tried all their buffets, and the dinner one is my favorite so far. They usually have different themes on different days. On the evening we went, it was a Filipino theme--hence, the Paksiw na Tilapia, Bicol Express, Pininyahang Manok, and Adobong Baka among the mains. All good, especially the Bicol Express, in which I kind of indulged. The station I always look forward to is the Grilling Station. There is a good choice of fresh seafood, meat, and chicken to have the chef grill on site and brought to your table. The Carving Station is another favorite, but not when they have beef or turkey (which others prefer). I was thrilled to see a huge slab of Crusted Salmon there that night. Together with the mustardy sauce it came with, it only required a second and third helping to attain food nirvana, haha. It was so good.Dessert-wise, we were a bit disappointed when they told us our favorite Chocolate Soufflé (which we love to top with Avocado ice cream) was not available that day. But one can't stay disappointed for long when faced with two long tables filled with all sorts of sweets and pastries, including local delicacies. My fallback dessert is usually the Bread Pudding which I slather with Vanilla Sauce, as well the rich Chocolate Sacher Cake, which I eat ala mode. Those more than made up for the lack of our favorite soufflé. Acaci begins to feel too much like home after several visits. We hope they will offer more surprises for their regular guests to keep the experience always special.

The fancy exteriors fail to cover up what it Acaci fundamentally lacks from within, good service and good food. I ordered coffee and it took 30 minutes for them to figure out how to brew a cup and it took them another 10 minutes to figure out how to get it to my table. I didn’t bother ordering anything after.

Great food with considerable choice of variands. As my starter, I had butter croissant and lentil soup. 2nd starter (haha) european appetizer - bon appettit! and 3rd for the japanese sashimi..This is the first buffet I had where they serve bone marrow! who can top this?! and their streak is ohhh soo good! Seafood option is only between shrimp and clam which I think they can improve more on.For the dessert, they are within the top3 buffets I had... Plenty of cakes - serveral chocolate cakes and cupcakes, 3 cheesecakes - blueberry, strawberry and mango - and more and more and more!

Whoever rated this buffet restaurant higher than mediocre is probably related to the chef or workers. This buffet restaurant is just BLAH..... and that's being nice. Let's start:Ambience=is decent. It's relatively clean, but old. It has an oily, old smell (especially near the kitchen). It has old ratty chairs which look like they've had better days. The "view" is McDonalds on one side and Commercenter building on the other......nothing to write home about. Food=was mediocre at best. The sushi MUST be AVOIDED at all cost. It's old, dry and tastes dead w/a coating of chili powder to cover its stink. The meats were nothing impressive. As my mother would say "laman tian" -- the soups were bland with some chili to make it taste like something or other. The fish / shrimps were ok; hit and miss on the freshness (some pieces were plump and fresh; other pieces were a smelly mush) the breads were rubbery and at least a day old. The cheeses were dried up and the oil was separating.....it was sad. The fruits were bland, though at least somewhat fresh. The desserts were actually ok..... for it tasted freshly baked (or maybe we just got lucky).....The drinks were sugary sweet and nothing exceptional.....not even good coffee. :(Service: this is the only saving grace at this place. The servers were NICE. Not exactly the quickest and definitely not the most efficient, but they were kind and POLITE , which makes a positive difference in the overall experience. Price: overpriced for the MEDIOCRE QUALITY. If you're just looking for a regular restaurant to enjoy Sunday lunch with the family, then this place is fine. It's mediocre but fine. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary or anything "special" then do NOT waste your time here. You will be sorely disappointed, as I was. (I was celebrating my bday with my whole family of 12). It lacked in every aspect.
