My colleagues and We often visit Mangan Tana at the Lakeshore property Petron Fuel station along NLEX about our solution to Nueva Ecija. Since we usually depart Manila at dawn we've always had breakfast right here. The meals is served buffet design and costsless than P200.00. Offerings consist of your normal Pinoy breakfast of tocino, longanisa, fried eggs, salted eggs, tuyo. The best can be ginisang canned mackerel. Throughout a recent trip, due to some delays, we surely got to Mangan Tana with time to end up being their first lunchtime clients for the day. The area had undergone renovation lately and we were amazed with the improve -- nicer tables, lovely lights, better serving meals and utensils, a makeover from being truly a carinderia to being truly a family-style restaurant. I'd never really had lunch right here before and had been completely delighted with the wide selection of meat, seafood and vegetable dishes. The ones that I tried had been sisig and kare-kare -- both were flawlessly yummy but what obtained me raving has been the buro -- fermented shrimp -- served with refreshing mustasa leaves and boiled okra, talong and ampalaya. Haven't experienced buro since my mom passed away five years back. This cut back happy memories. If you're on the way north make sure to fall in at Mangan Tana. About P285 for a buffet lunch will probably be worth every peso. Still left it even more satisfied than I am with other buffet dining places of its variety in Manila.
