Not the best Vikings branch but it was decent enough. The place is a bit crowded so it's hard to walk around for the food. But their steaks, lamb, and meat are cooked well -- very soft and it tastes good. Even if there were a lot of customers, they managed to keep their buffet tables full. The place is clean and the staff are attentive.Must-try if you live in the East and can't go to the South for the other Vikings branches.

Celebrated my son’s 5th birthday here, together with his 2 Ninangs and Lola who’s celebrating their birthdays as well. My mother-in-law call in earlier for reservation of 15 heads. We were reserved to the VIP room next to the toilet. Room was very narrow and hot. We asked for extra electric fan but it’s not available. Our seats were too far from the buffet. It was like an amazing race to the buffet. Food was always out of stock. I was hoping to taste their oysters and baked musscles but it always out of stock. The same goes with beef, lamb, salmon and tempura. Since we are too far from the buffet station we didn’t know that it has been refilled.Waiters/staffs are not that accommodating. It seems like we’re neglected in the corner. No one is collecting our plates that are done.We we’re entertained by a group of 4 men who sang birthday song. They were warm and made every body laugh. The promo: There has been a bit of confusion with the promo. We have 2 senior citizen, 4 celebrants, 9 adults but they only gave us discount for the 2 senior and 2 celebrants.Overall: Will I go back? Yes! But during specil occasion only and I will demand for the seats in front of the buffet. 😁

Another first time for me. I have been at SM City Marikina several times, but this is the first time I have tried Vikings. The guard and the staff were attentive, my friend went nearby to check and they accommodated us at once. They kept on asking if someone is celebrating their birthday, we answered, "Wala."I'm not much of a buffet fan, because too many variety of food makes me confused and I'm a picky eater, so I went immediately to my favorite station, the carving station with lechon, lamb and turkey. I'm just a bit disappointed with the roasting/inihaw station, the Wagyu and the pork ribs were slightly tough to chew. I went to the Thai section to have some Chicken Pandan and it was bland. Though I enjoyed their coffee (both brewed and instant- Nescafe), their kakanin, puto bumbong and crepe.Their effort in singing, greeting and taking photos and videos for the birthday celebrants were amazing, maybe this is the main reason why people go to Vikings to celebrate. And another plus factor, their comfort room was really clean and hotel like.

Good food but some lacks taste. Some are also salty. Variety of food is also okay.Ambiance is a bit noisy but it is normal when it comes to buffet

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Years back the quality of food and service was much better... Now.. I was so disappointed. Went for lunch around noon... Most of the displays were empty and nobody bothered to fill them up.. I passed 3 times by the tempura stations always empty.. But when I asked immediately dropped few.. How is that possible... They had it done but refused to keep it available.. All the noodles.. Had no flavor.. Doesn't matter if they were from the Japanese, Chinese, Filipino corner.. The chicken.. So hard to chew.. Never experienced that before.. I've tried sate and sweet and sour.. For dessert I had crepe... With banana mixed they had available.. Sour..how can banana mix to be sour.. Most probably expired.. Bottom line...the quality is very bad.. But they keep the prices high.. For sure won't go back.. Ever.. The funny part is that I've see 4 sous chefs going around.. All with their phone in the hand. But none checking the lines.. Or the quality of the food... Embarrassing..PS. The guy who was going around to take pics for the b-day celebrations... So loud and annoying.. Made me feel in a public market.. In a very cheap place.. Not in one of the "best buffet restaurants" from Manila. Its a shame!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Vikings. But their branch at SM Marikina is the worst. A long queue, bad service and very few selection of food. Never again.

I visited last January for a friend's birthday celeb. What's the best in Marikina Branch as compared to other branches is that it serves variety of dishes, from your steaks, to all time favorite desserts. Good customer service as expected to this buffets resto, and easy reservation via mobile device. Aside from the food, the view is also spectacular because we got a table where you can see the view of the metro. The best Vikings Branch visited so far.
