It's amazing that I discovered this restaurant through my mom. Apparently she has been eating here since the restaurant's inception. Hooray for having a website mom! Anyway, the best part about this restaurant is their PISO COFFEE. Which means I can literally stay here all day without spending too much. HAHA. The food is to share, very FIlipino style, and their service is great despite our complaint (but we just didn't buy their excuse. Will talk about that later). We arrived at around 7pm on a Monday, the place wasn't that packed. We ordered Pork Sisig, Sinigang na corned beef, Fried Tilapia, Oyster (I forgot the name :|), rice to share, and for dessert, Toblerone Cheesecake. Their sisig wasn't one of those oily and salty sisigs usual restos serve. It tastes like pork with liver, mayonnaise (but you can't taste it, I just guessed because it's somewhat creamy) and lots of chilli (but no trace of the spice)! Their sinigang was the star for me--we finished the whole bowl! The broth itself was delicious--sour and filled with fresh vegetables and soft corned beef. However, I shall omit points because they served beef with too much fat. :( I wish it had more meat. The fried tilapia was fresh as well, you can tell they don't use MSG *claps*, and the ensalada was on point! Last but not the least are their oysters--fresh and tasty. You won't even smell the "lansa-ness" of the seafood because the tomatoes and cheese complements it perfectly! Sadly though, their cheesecake was not worth the hype. They served it to use WARM. We don't eat warm cheesecake. And aren't you supposed to serve it chilled/cold? :( They could have asked us if it was okay to serve it warm. but we ended up complaining and asking for an exchange, but they didn't give us a cold slice . They said it was something about the delivery blabla and that it was a new cake blabla they put it inside the ref at about 5:30. (If you put a cake inside a ref at 5:30 pm, wouldn't it be cold 1-2 hours later?) We didn't buy it. My sisters ate the cake anyway and I had a few spoonfuls. There wasn't a trace of Toblerone taste in it. What a bummer. The whole experience would have been a 5 out of 5 but this dessert incident happened (dessert is very important to me, I'm a woman.) so it pulled the whole rating down to 3. Not sure if I'll be back (maybe for the piso coffee) but I recommend  you try their main dishes and hopefully you don't get a warm slice of cheesecake.

Great place to chill! Love the rolletas & 4 cheese pizza :) for dessert...pair the toblerone cheesecake with the piso kape! The food is quite pricey but the ambiance is homey.

In the middle of our busy Sunday, we had lunch at Tiyo's. Finally!!! I've been meaning to tick this off my list and I think for good. Why? For a number of reasons:First, took us almost an hour to have our food served. Good thing it tastes really good and comes in really big servings.Second, It was damn cold! My brother was literally shaking and had to transfer next to me to feel warm. Even when I already asked the waiter to lower down the tempt, but I think he didn't do anything about our request.Third, the comfort room which didn't give much comfort. They only have 2 toilets, one for each gender, given the capacity of the place this is not sufficient. It made a long queue, about 3 people waiting in line with me, since it can only serve one occupant at a time. Parking space is limited. I also find it a bit weird to have the tables set for groups of 4 pax. So if you are only two and all the tables are occupied, its either you get guilty by having the table all for the two of you or share it with others.Nevertheless, at the end of our stay what mattered most is the food. Taste really good but it comes with a price.

This is one of a nice fine dining restaurant in Marikina City. They serve traditional Filipino food and they taste so well- like there's some kind of twist. I loved the Crispy Tawilis:) and of course the 1-peso brewed coffee. The place is so nice too. I'd go back if I would be asked to dine there again.

Love the location, and the place is so inviting... The food is oh so good... Ideal for any occasions.... And the coffee costs 1peso only... Love that idea... Really worth it.

Ordered Mushroom Soup, Tiyo Salad and Tenderloin Steak. The steak is surprisingly good. Ambiance is okay but the service is really slow. It took around 20 minutes before the soup was served and it took almost 40 minutes before they were able to serve the main course.

Tiyo's been here a couple of times and as always they never failed me to amazed with their mouthwatering delectables.I love the ambience there's a touch of homey atmosphere. A must try is their Tiyo's salad, Pizza and their pasta selections for a change. You may want to try their brewed coffee since its 1 peso per refill.Brilliant idea to say the least.Should be there earlier since parking may be a bit a challenge. But over all its worth a try.

We celebrated a friends birthday here, the place was really nice.We ordered a salad which is delicious, roasted garlic shrimp pizza and 4 cheese pizza were both good the kids loved it,though the 2 order of 4 cheese pizza came in different shades..lol..they serve the first one a little browned( the other one was delivered to our table later maybe they forgot that we need to follow up a couple of times)the other one was just right and tastes better than the first pizza,we also ordered the seafood in white wine pasta which i really like( i'm a pasta lover) that i created my own version and the kaldereta which the bday celebrant liked but its a little cold in the middle part that we asked the staff to reheat for us.Overall its a good experience and worth trying again..

My family and I are regulars here. The place is comfortable, food is good. Nothing remarkable but they have what I want. Variety in the menu. They have P1 kape and a good array of cocktails.

Best cordon bleu i have eaten thus far! Generous amount of serving too! The best part for me apart from the food is the P1 coffee! Definitely a recommended gem in marikina. ?
