Parilla Bacolod Chicken has been open for a number of years in this neighborhood before they relocated to their new place in the new C&B Mall extension. They now have two floors wherein the first floor is a closed air-conditioned room and the second floor opens into the balcony and can accommodate big groups.Husband and I decided to go here for lunch on a weekday. It was a bit past 1400H and there was no one to welcome us at the door. Foyer was a bit confusing—we didn't know if we can proceed upstairs or go through the glass door on the left which leads you into their "first floor" since the other side's the kitchen. There were some employees hanging out near the door (guess they were waiting to unload some deliveries from the truck parked in front and we asked them where to go pero dedma. Nice.We were planning to order some of their seafood but it wasn't available daw, any of them. Lahat yata ng plinano ko i-order ang sagot "di po available." When I asked ano lang ang available, server just copied (or so it seems to me) husband's order: pecho and gizzard. As in 'yun lang daw ang available and yet on the other table they were served different dishes. Dunno if because the woman was an employee or a family friend because she goes inside the employees area only. This gets better and better.Pecho, gizzard, and three orders of garlic rice it is. Pecho was dry but tasty. Gizzard is so-so and apparently it's 60Php for only one stick. Not really recommended unless you have no budget. Guess you get the kind of service according to your bill. And nope this is not from a "snobbish" website—I'm actually quite easy to satisfy. I just put more value into the customer service and sadly, this place failed to give that.

Love Parilla!!! Soo happy I went there today. Everything thst I ordered were grilled perfectly. The chicken inasal was a lil bit underseasoned for me (maybe because I ordered the breast part) but it's still good. Love that the place looks clean and simple, menu is straight forward and best thing is the price considering the quality of the food served! Will definitely go back and try other dishes.

If you're into Filipino style grilled chicken, tuna, marlin, liempo and spareribs, then you may want to try this place. They do have a few other Filipino favorites to choose from which are similarly good and affordable. We have been to this restaurant a few times and we're always satisfied with their food and service.Bacolod Chicken Parilla already has a loyal following in the Marikina Heights area even before they decided to relocate to the new C&B Mall Extension in Liwasang Kalayaan St. which is just a few steps from where they used to be. They now occupy a bigger space with its 2 floors of dining area. The ground floor has air conditioning while the one upstairs is open with a balcony but can accommodate more. The place is clean, the decor simple and well lit. However, they only have limited parking in front.Even for a late lunch on a weekday, they still have a good sized crowd which shows that their popularity has not diminished. This time we just ordered the grilled Chicken Inasal Pecho (breast and wing), Atay (chicken liver) and plain rice. The food were seasoned well and grilled just right. There's nothing fancy or elaborate in the flavors or presentation of their dishes but we were satisfied just the same.

We went here at around 9:00 in the evening for a very late dinner, it's my first time to eat here and I was surprised that they still have a lot of customers during that late Monday night.  I was with my cousins and they recommended this place because they were craving for Parilla's Kansi. So the first thing we ordered was Kansi which is worth the try and very yummy, Grilled Paa (leg and thigh part of the chicken) which is perfectly grilled, it's juicy and very tasty and Spareribs which is simply mouthwatering. Quick service. And the best part of all, we went home happy and full!

Was looking for a new place to dine and came across Parilla Bacolod Chicken near S'Mall/C&B Circle Mall in Marikina. We came at around 2/3pm and we were the second customer that time. Place is very spacious and I believe they have more seats upstairs. There weren't much design on the first floor.Btw, I just noticed that there were lots of staffs that time but no one even welcomed or greated us upon entering. There was an "awkward" environment when we entered.Parilla Bacolod Chicken served mainly Filipino dishes like grilled chicken, seafoods, ilonggo faves (which wasn't avail when we went there), desserts and some alcohilic drinks. Menu was very simple and straight to the point. Here's what we ordered:Pecho (Breast & Wing) - Php90- Serving is very big for the price. Though I find their Pecho plain (even with the seasonings) and I think they lack presentation for it to look appetizing. Spareribs - Php140- I like this a lot as it is very appetizing, tasty and easy to chew. Garlic Rice - Php25- Every meal doesn't include a rice we ordered a separate rice. 1 rice wasn't enough as I find the P25 rice a bit small. Ordered 2 rice instead. A bit pricey for a small serving of rice.Blueberry Cheesecake - Php75- A bit pricy for a small serving of cheesecake but it's okay since I find the Blueberry Chessecake very yummy and addictive! Haha Though I was only able to try some dishes from this restaurant, I find Parilla Bacolod Chicken average and okay. Though I read lots of positive reviews, I think they still need to improve with presentation of the Inasal and serving size of the rice. But overall, a simple nice Filipino cusine place to dine.

Goodie dito, sobrang sarap ng food nila, mura pa. Every week, Parilla is always on our family's choices kapag nagtatanungan na kung san kakain sa labas. Favorite ko dito ung chicken inasal nila, preferably ung paa na part, pork barbecue and ung tuna panga nila.

been here yesterday with boyfie, the place is quiet too small, what I dont is they served us the inihaw na pecho with blood on the plate, inshort hindi pa siya lutong luto, we asked the waiter politely na merong blood sa plate coming from the chicken, they just get it and changed. the price was great, not too expensive.overall 4stars dahil medyo na-dissapoint lang ako sa chicken na may blood, but the rest was great.

This actually my family’s go-to-place. It’s very affordable. Plus, the food is really good which makes us come back always. Even though we don’t live near this area, we’re always willing to drive out just to eat in Parilla.
